Appalling service by the cashier today upon my visit, the other employee had to even tell him to keep his mouth shut because you don't talk like that to customers.

Follow Up - I did contact the number immediately after my visit. Will see how long it takes for a response.

Not a very helpful pharmacy, service is on and off.
Editing because they have been letting people know they are sorry for the horrible unreliable service, but they still have terrible service and it hasn’t changed it might’ve gotten worse. Very unreliable and sadly haven’t been able to change the shape the pharmacy is in.

Has what you would expect, though the prices are definitely higher than other locations, they have nice staff, but mediocre overall

The pharmacy staff have made very serious mistakes with my medication and wrong information. Luckily I investigated further on my own or I would have been stranded in another province without my very expensive, life saving medication. They have also made dispensing errors. I cut them some slack because of the pandemic and they seemed to have a staff change over. But even before that, the head pharmacist put up some obstacles to my request for a vaccination. Not sure why but she had an attitude about it. They still seem unclear about what they're doing 2+ years later. Changing pharmacies.

If you value your health and your life, don't use the pharmacy here. I have gotten the wrong information and wrong medication from them. Incredibly troubling to see this level of disorganization and poor level of understanding about information that is key for patient wellness.

My boyfriend went there they locked the door before 9 and didn't let him in

I hate it here. Not enough employees, really loud self serve machines with too many promotional questions. I always leave with a headache. Never anyone around.

Must be bad energy from the management, a truly sickening experience for a store that stocks so many family essentials. It’s such a disgusting display of a profitable business giving absolutely nothing back.

Terrible experience at pharmacy, pharmacist and assistant on duty clearly didnt care.better go down to pharmacies down the street for your business

I just wasted 25 min trying to return a defective toy. The staff couldn’t figure it out. I have been having similar issues in the other stores and loblaws’ grocery stores. This seems like the trend with their employees now. Not trained! And nobody really respects your time.

The store itself is a standard high prices shoppers location. Nothing special. No fresh foods. Frozen, canned and snack food. Some staples like bread, milk and eggs.
Best thing about shoppers is the chance to gain Optima points.
The pharmacy is average. They have 1 pharmacist - Walter who is outstanding. He knows us. Recognizes us. Seems to appreciate us and will bend over backwards to make our pharmacy needs fast, efficient and enjoyable. He seems to care.
I would give Walter 5 stars and the store 2 stars.averaging out to the 3 stars I have given

I just got home to discover that a birthday card and an Amazon gift card that I had bought for my nephew, was not put into my shopping bag with other purchased items. My guess is that they were put into a second bag, even after I was asked if I wanted ONE bag. That second bag obviously didn't make it out of the store with me.

I hope the cashier enjoys the $50 gift card that was for my nephew, because I'll never ever set foot in that Parkdale store location again.

I had the best customer service yesterday from Jess. I changed insurance carriers and I needed to call in to let them know. When I called, I got Jess in the phone. The info I had wasn't what they needed so she called my new insurance company directly for me to get the the correct numbers. Not only did she call them, she called me back to let me know the correct information. She then proceed to ask of I needed any refills and she faxed my doctor. Getting excellent customer service needs to be applauded! Good job, Jess!

Going into the stores fine the staff are helpfull.dont ever call its four minutes of covid info and back to main menue to here it again repeat four times
covid must hve deleted the call and speak to someone option.just go ask then its 50/50

Usually a great place to shop, great employees. Last time I was there cashier was extremely rude. She walked away from me when I came up to her till and said hi, took a really long time at changing the garages before coming back to ring me up, and stared at me like she hated me. She probably had a bad day and wanted to go home, that was still not acceptable.

I had an issue with a phone voucher the nice lady helped me out resolving the issue i think her name is Sheila i truly believe that she deserves a raise because of her professionalism. Thank you very much Greatly Appreciated have an Awesome day

The entire team at Shoppers Drug Mart Parkdale are always so accommodating and go out of there way to provide best in class customer service!

Staff are passive. Pharmacists and Pharmacy are as diligent as they can be at a pharmacy/corner store franchise. Overall, great experiences and they usually have what’s needed.

Went there today to get my flu shot having submitted the online form only to be told he was too busy to give us a shot. There was no one else in line. If they are advertising walk-ins and have the shots in stock they shouldn’t be turning you away.

This pharmacy is amazing! Reordering is easy, my medication is always ready when I need it. Pharmacists and techs professional and efficient. Highly recommend.

A local drugstore in my neighborhood that I have been utilizing for years. Shoppers Drug Mart, Queen West is a go-to for prescription pick-up and renewal as well as shopping for groceries and everyday household items and sundries.

Their clearance shelf is not existing in the store (or I don’t remember if they had one), not many surprised items compare to other places. This store has only regular items with regular prices you can see on flyers, but not discount items that each individual store can offer to local neighborhood. I only come here to buy stamps or gift cards

Went to buy an electric toothbrush. They’re between $80-$250 dollars and held behind the counter. The staff was super unhelpful and refused to let me read the boxes of any of them that I wanted to compare. Couldn’t tell me anything about them either. I’m not going to but anything that I’m not able to even read the package of. Super rude too.

I used to come here all the time but they just stop stocking the products I buy or they don't bother putting them on the shelf and I have to go through this song and dance holding up the line to see if the items are in the storage room. The 4 star rating is because the cashiers and managers are genuinely helpful and nice

Best pharmacy in all of parkdale (maybe Toronto!? !) I will always be coming here for my pharmaceutical needs and knowledge thanks so much guys.

Quick stop for some grocieries in the first days of our trip. Has the usual items for sale like any Walgreen's or CVS's in the states, limiteeld grocery items at a slightly higher convenience prices. The cashier made us very welcome and gave us a pleasent start to our Toronto trip!

Very bad customer service - i had to call 3x to get someone to answer the phone - i was checking on toblerone [which a website said sdm had on sale today - 360g for $4.80] - guy had to go back a 2nd time to tell the size, 1st he only got price, i was looking to but miss vickies's chip too - not impressed as usually one is suppsed to pickup a ringing phone
