For three years I've been going to this location for my prescription and, given I've never gotten through on the phone and had to go in place my order, on a Monday for Friday pick up. Yet every single time I go and ask, they ask me to wait 20 minutes, which really means 30-40 minutes. Many times after 30 or so minutes they tell me they don't have enough pills to cover my prescription. I've transferred my info to another SDM and the service has been nothing short of perfect. Even on the first trip they were awesome.

Called Sunday to confirm a script and waited 30 minutes listening to horrible "musak" on hold, then when my call was answered, she immediately put the call on hold again for more than 50 minutes when I gave up. The sign of a "cheap" owner who either won't staff the store or won't pay employees enough to do their job efficiently and efficably. This is what happens when you try to do "everything" as well as being a drug store.

Their Pharmacist took the wrong page of prescriptions from me when I dropped off. One hour later, they called me and left a voicemail: prescriptions were ready to pick up. Fifteen minutes later, they called me again: you gave us the wrong page; you should bring another page to us. She kept repeating it's your fault in the phone so that I couldn't say anything. The problem is HOW DO I KNOW WHICH PAGE TO GIVE HER? You pharmacists do not check paperwork before proceeding with it? I'm not going back to this pharmacy again. This is a bit much. Update: I tried going back and the clerk treated me unfairly because she has a conflict with me. I shopped there way before the store moved and became bigger. They listen their employees but not their customers. You will suffer the consequences of how you harm and bring shame upon others in the way you have treated them like dirt. It is zero stars because you get what you deserve. One day you will reap what you sow not because of me but because of how you treat people with illnesses. You demonize people with PTSD. Then you treat them badly. The other shopper's drug marts have been improving except your store.

Staggering levels of incompetence. The last 4 times I’ve had a prescription filled here there has been an issue. They can’t find it, didn’t fill it or filled it incorrectly. A pharmacist called a week ago to discuss my prescription and told me it would be ready in 2 days. They still didn’t have it ready a whole 10 days later. It took 3 of them to figure it out. How do you operate like this? !? Frankly I’m not sure I trust them with my meds anymore. Nice enough staff but when I comes to medication, competence trumps friendly. This pharmacy is not recommended.

Horrible, been going here for over 10 years, it used to be fine. My last prescription I think is the last straw, after waiting days only to find out they had entered the wrong dose, the wrong brand and the wrong date from my script which was sent direct from my doctor I was told it would be about an hour. 4 hours later they finally filled it. While waiting in line for a ridiculous amount of time I witnessed the pharmacist and tech treat a customer incredibly rudely who was trying to ask very reasonable questions and then literally just turned their back when she tried to clarify once more. I go here because of the late night hours but I think I'm done. Do better.

Horrendous service and rude Pharmacy staff.would rate no stars if i could.last visit they were dismissive, were not only unhelpful, but actually annoyed that i was even asking questions, after paying for my prescription she basically threw them across the counter at me and walked away while i was trying to ask a question.i was treated like dirt.after 4 years Iv'e had enough. I'm moving my prescription, and never doing business there again.
Just shameful.

Edit: after reading some reviews, i noticed this has been going on for a lot longer.they seem to be quick to respond to a negative review, which after all this time makes it almost insulting that they put more effort into their PR than their customers.

Terrible experience and I will not be returning.

Inventory shortage is understandable but an absence of communication that prescriptions haven’t been filled on time is not.

This location is falling apart and the reviews from the last several months are concerning as this should be a community facility but has unfortunately become a shared community frustration.

SDM at this location is extremely pathetic.no one seems to answer any phone calls and keeps on looping back and forth to their VM.it rings a couple of times then repeats back to VM.you'd think someone finally answers yet goes to their voice mail

I'm just going to say this for EVERYONE without going into specifics.

For your own health please do not use this Pharmacracy located at St. Clair Ave. W & Bathurst Street.

The staff are rude & they have zero customer service. And they sure make a lot of mistakes. Just saying. It looks like a complete unorganized mess behind the pharmacy counter.

I also called C/S at the 1-800 number to file a complaint and I was on hold for 10 minutes before a C/S rep.became available.

The C/S rep.made an inappropriate comment to me. I informed her that it was an inappropriate comment to make and instead of her saying 'sorry' OR 'sorry I didn't mean anything by it' she hung up on me.

Ok. Well you just lost a customer of over 25 years. There are a lot of nice neighbourhood independent Pharmacists that I can use instead.

First time I've ever dealt with a Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy and was extremely impressed. I'm not reviewing all Shoppers Drug Mart because I've not dealt with the pharmacies of their other locations. Went in for my COVID VACCINE 2nd shot and the counter was busy. Several people were there for the same reason as well as regular customers who were picking up prescription s. All the pharmacists, assistants and student assistant s were very busy but they all maintained calm and professional behaviours with obvious efficiency. The pharmacist, T. Chan, was really impressive with his big smile and cheerful demeanor. This is what service ought to be everywhere. If you're going to be spending $$ ensure you're patronizing the businesses you want to keep and not the ones there just for the grab. One negative I've found since: pharmacy staff are great in person but not so much on the phone

Why bother accepting appointments when people have to wait 45+ minutes after their appointment time to get seen? Staff are rude and product selection is mediocre. I’m honestly surprised this place is still in business.

This is the worst pharmacy. They take forever to fill prescriptions, apparently cannot receive e-faxes from doctors in the year 2022, and the phone never works. Every time I have filled a prescription here it has required multiple in-person visits and immense. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The slowest pharmacy ever…took almost 2 weeks for a medication to arrive (normally takes one day for other pharmacies). Never picks up the phone and very slow in processing meds. Therefore I asked them to transfer my meds to a new pharmacy, the new pharmacy tried calling numerous times for a transfer request but was unable to get a hold of anyone here! Staff at this shoppers pharmacy told me they don’t accept faxed transfer request, ridiculous! Pls transfer my meds ASAP.

DO NOT use this pharmacy. They do not answer their phone so unless you never need to call a pharmacy ever it isn’t even possible to use this pharmacy. Save yourself time and effort and go anywhere else. The one time I tried walking in they were completely useless and couldn’t fill the prescription in a reasonable time so I needed to go elsewhere anyway. Shouldn’t have tried again. Now I need to get my prescription sent elsewhere because they refuse to answer their phone. Worst pharmacy ever.

Terrible location. They never have anything we need. No covid rapid tests, they don't have the antibiotics we were given a prescription for, the shelves are empty of all children's medicine. And everything is expensive.

You can go to dallarama next door and get most of the same stuff for much cheaper. Or walk a bit and go to lawblaws.

And the pharmacy is useless. They don't even answer their phones anymore so you have to go in person just to drop off a prescription. Be told to come back in 2 hours and then get told they don't even carry what you need and have to go somewhere else. Complete waste of time.

Avoid at all costs- I’ve been trying to get a refill for asthma medication for my son for over two weeks. Asked in store for them to fax the specialist, didn’t do it. Called again said they would, didn’t send the fax. Called our family doctor and she asked them to fax her. Three days later the prescription is not ready- rudely told I could wait an hour after waiting half an hour in line and now two weeks for the prescription. Also said they couldn’t find the other prescription I received a text saying it was ready. What a disaster - transferring my business today.

This review is for the pharmacy at this location. On Monday I went to get a prescription refill and was asked if I needed it that day or could come back the next day. I always come a week or two in advance so I said I could come back tomorrow (it was quite busy). So I came back on Wednesday, only to find they were out of stock!
I was told to come back on Friday, which is today, so we will see if they actually have it. I feel very deceived.
On top of this, they do not answer their phone, so don't even bother trying.

I love this branch especially the makeup and perfume section. They are so knowledgable with the product that they are selling. First, Vanika, I always go here to smell some perfume. Example, whenever I ask her I wanted a smell that has some citrus or some floral scent she knows and matches what to offer me. Second, Lauren, whenever I ask something dupes on makeup or something that works the same, HighEnd or Drugstore Makeup she knows it in one click. They are soooo friendly too.

I’ve come here two days in a row and the post office has just been inexplicably closed. First time I was essentially told to bug off (at 12: 16 pm) and second time it was covered in closed signs at 4: 50pm.

Absolutely brutal. Been there ten times over the last few months and it’s never less than 45 minutes to pick up a prescription. Even with 1-2 days sitting on the prescription they don’t have it ready. They ignore all phone calls (even from my doctor) and rarely check fax /emails. Do yourself a favour, go elsewhere. There are plenty of way better options in the area.

This pharmacy is by far the most useless Shoppers pharmacy out there. I have a problem every time I go which is a lot. They fully just didn’t put my meds through and now I don’t have them over a long weekend and when I asked for help on what to do they said there was nothing. Great!

I recommend going to another pharmacy. No one answers the phone here and prescriptions take way too long to pick up. When I go at the time they ask me to come back to pick up my medications, it's still not ready. This pharmacy is extremely understaffed, there's always a long lineup of people with the same issues.

Over the last few months the pharmacy here has just basically imploded. They've lost or misplaced my prescription multiple times. Always at least six people in line to either drop off or pick up. Today I came in at 530 and they told me my meds would be ready in 2 hours. As I stand here at the counter at almost 8pm my meds were not ready, they just tried to only give me half of what I dropped off. So I'm waiting again. It is a disorganized kafkaesque nightmare of unprofessional conduct and total chaos. Don't waste your time go somewhere else

The pharmacy team doesn't answer the phone it's become a huge problem over the last 6 months or more. This past week I've attempted to talk to somebody from the team there about a prescription renewal that hasn't been filled but I'm perpetually on hold. It's more efficient to drive over and walk up to the desk at this point if I have a question which is unbelievable - I need something refilled and have no ability to find out what's going on. Your store needs to figure out a solution because someone else with a serious medical condition going through the same issues as me might be in danger of health problems with this kind of a lapse in prescriptions. Terrible - do not trust them with your health.

Took me 4 days to get my meds. Pharmacy is short staffed and can't keep up with the demand. Hire more people, pay them properly. I wasn't the only person to complain. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've had at a Shoppers. They need to do better.

Every time I ask them for help, they have attitude as “again, please leave me alone”. Asking questions to the front cash is a nightmare, they are always very rude and pretending that whatever is not working in their store it's your fault. Very disappointed with this pharmacy. Ever since Covid began the workers are severely Over Worked, meds are always late, mistakes have been made and iv been put on hold for over 1 hour and 20 min. More staff should have been added to the team.

Cosmetics department costumer serves on a very low level. I am sorry that this kind of treatment people have to go through. I live in the area and was purchasing cosmetics there often, but only recently needed them to help me with an expensive product that I was choosing for myself for this Christmas. Unfortunately, I've been asked by an angry young lady, who is probably younger than me 15 years or so, with no respect, if I am going to buy a product, when I've been just wanting to make a choice in between many options. That's ok, I'll go to another place where the service is nice and welcoming, but sorry for the department, where I was ready to shop and enjoy the holiday's experience, to lose a loyal customer. She was so strict that I don't touch the product, while not wearing a mask when I showed up. Pathetic.
Also, the manager stressed out from a simplest conversation, when I told him, that I shop there for over 10 years and was not expecting treatment
like that. I only feel compassion for people who have to work on jobs they hate, especially after today.

DO NOT GET YOUR PERSCRIPTIONS FILLED HERE. Twice now they have 'not received' my prescriptions directly faxed from my doctors (which I know were sent), which many of the reviews here say. So clearly they have a significant problem which they refuse to fix. Losing people's important prescriptions, and never answering the pharmacy phones (after calling more than six times over the course of an hour). This is unacceptable for medications that in many cases are drastically important.

Service has gone down. They always seem to be busy. Late on filing prescriptions and not answering the phone. When a business start having lots of clients because of its location it should hire more to service client’s properly but unfortunately not the case there!

If zero stars were an option I would rate this store below zero. It's almost impossible to get through to the pharmacy by telephone. If you are able to reach someone they will not contact you back to inform you that they were able to get your prescription faxed. Upon arrival to the pharmacy I waited an hour as they brushed me off and rudely dismissed my concerns. It took me an hour to have them fill a simple prescription. This location is understaffed, unprofessional and worst off is that they do not care at all. They should be shut down to retrain or fire the current staff and hire competent and caring people. Avoid this location if you value your health, time, money and patience.

My complaint and 1 star is because the telephone is never answered and for some bizarre reason there is no automated service for requesting refills, etc, like all other Shoppers seem to have. Not impressed.

We are a pharmacy from montreal trying to call for a transfer for a patient since early this morning. First, the line was busy every time we tried calling from 8am to 10am, Then, the phone cycled us endlessly through the automated messages for over one hour. There is no way to communicate with this pharmacy over the phone, making it very challenging to serve customers. Especially those who have moved far away and cannot simply show up to communicate something.

I was told that I could not check out at the register with a credit card. I could only use cash or use the self checkout if I wanted to use my card. Considering there was no line and the cashier was just standing there, I can’t understand why I’d be told this. Luckily I’m only visiting the area and don’t ever need to go back, but I can’t imagine how frustrating it must be for their regular customers.

I have to say I had the worst shopping experience. I have never in my life encountered ruder, more disrespectful staff.

Around 3: 30 PM I ran in to grab one item. After standing in line for 20 minutes, I finally made it to the front. The rude cashier named Theresa announced "shift change cash is closed" and refused to check me out. I asked what I'm supposed to do and she said "leave the store or go to lane #4", which had nearly 20 people in line as it was the only lane open in the whole store. I was quite frustrated as I waited 20 minutes already. I tried to go to self-checkout, which obviously didn't work. I had no choice but to go to lane 4 as I needed my item. After waiting in that line for two minutes, Theresa opened the lane right back up. I said from my lane, I thought you were closed for 20 minutes, but she rolled her eyes and didn't acknowledge me. I then waited another 20 minutes in this line as both lines became as equally long and slow.

I asked my cashier, who I forget her name for the manager, and she told me "I wasn't worth her time". Finally the manager, Eric came, who was useless. He told me he doesn't know his staff's name and didn't care. He thought it was funny. I tried to explain to him that waiting 40 minutes JUST IN LINE is not acceptable, ESPECIALLY during covid. Every other customer who overheard our conversation chimed in and was yelling that this Shopper's location is always like this, lined up, with so many staff in the store, yet only one on cash.

The security guard is standing in the store, not holding any people back from entering. People aren't wearing masks and are on top of each other like cattle on a farm. I hope to never be treated so rudely again in my life, and will never return to this store. Waiting in a line that goes all the way to the back of the pharmacy for 40 minutes is purely unacceptable, let alone lying to my face.

Ive been goin to this location since it opened cuz ive lived in the same area for over 20yrs, the last five yrs have really gone down hill, skids in every isle every single day ive gone there twice just this week and every single day the isle has skids, the pharmacy in the back is absolutely ridiculous, ive never delt with such nonsense like i have with them! My friend had a horrible incident at this location. He has a medical disability which prevents him from wearing a mask and the store manager Hamid wanted to kick him out and called the police. This is not the first time this manager acted this way. He was ver rude prior to this with my elderly aunt. He is prejudiced against many people. This store needs to be reported for discrimination and violation of human rights.

Worst Shoppers Drug Mart out there. One of the managers has a problem with older people. Be careful what you say to him. He is the Asian guy with the glasses and he's young. A side from him the rest of the staff have been okay. The drug store part not a problem with. I can be patient and wait. I can look around or read the flyer. If it's a long wait I can come back. Maybe the odd few store clerks had been bothersome from time to time. Just the one who's a huge downer the asian manager is part of the problem! Deal with him and that store may pick up its boots. Also when they are doing stock it's all over the place and it's a mess. I nearly had an accident with so many boxes in the way. It used to be a lot better run store at least 15 years ago but seems to have gone down hill. There was a problem with shopping carts blocking the entrance way. Hard for older people to get through. It varies from time to time with the shopping carts. There has seem to have been a number of staff changes. Miss the reliable staff from years ago. The worst part if that young manager doesnt like you he treats you indifferently. Other then that he seems to like people in his own age bracket and will let them in to buy something close to 12 midnight. Mean while he rudely tells you to get out! Oh well I guess we all cant be young can we now? At one time I really did like this store but sadly being treated unfairly which I was and tried to talk to customer service did absolutely nothing even if I'm posting it here. At least I'm not the only one speaking the truth. My story goes way beyond the bad treatment I got! Your company needs to review several things. How your employees are treated by staff and how your customers are being treated. It's all over the web of bad treatment and problems just dont go away. Until its resolved I'm wont be shopping as much at shoppers. Its conveniently close for me but now I have to go elsewhere. Most of shoppers drug mart has problem stores this isnt the only one!

I'm new to the area and my first experience with this post office was not great at all. I received a slip to pick up a package on a Friday, it stated on the slip to come back after 1: 00PM the next business day. I showed up on Saturday and they told me my package hadn't arrived yet because they don't receive parcel deliveries on the weekend.okay cool, but maybe state that on the slip? Anyway, I commute to the post office again on Monday evening and they tell me "they have a new delivery man and the parcels only just arrived and they still needed to process them all". This was at 6: 00PM on Monday evening. I'm sorry, but I have now wasted transit fare twice to get here and my packages are not available for pick up.

On a separate note, I wanted to open a PO box, went through every single option with the worker before they finally say, "oh but we actually don't have any available. " Um, maybe start with that?

This is all just within two visits. I can already tell I'm going to absolutely LOVE coming to pick up packages here. /end sarcasm.

I literally spend about $100 a month or so in that store and have proof from my Credit Card statement search (i had to look it up). I am going to take my complaints to the highest person i can reach.

I have never in my life been accused of stealing any product/item from any Shoppers Drug Mart location. Always, if I do not wish to purchase a product, I would humbly return it to the place in which i picked it up. Shortly, after exiting the store, one of the employees (Asian, mid 30s, glasses, black hat) followed me outside the store, onto the main street and accused me of stealing. In all honestly there was a verbal aggresive confrontation, due to the fact that i was agitated at his claim. If you're going to accuse someone, do it inside the store, so that you have coworker support. I highly disapprove of the Shoppers Drug Mart locataion to any individual who shops here. I hope that Shoppers Drug Mart as a cooporation can reconsider there hiring process, to prevent such moronic employees from working and to improve customer satisfaction.

This Shoppers is incredibly understaffed. I went there yesterday and there was two cashiers working. One had a line-up of ten people and the other had a line-up of about six. I went to the shorter line and then as soon as it was my turn, the cashier CLOSED the cash while i was still waiting with people now waiting behind me and the other cashier having an even longer line. I obviously complained because I had been waiting in line for quite some time to buy one item. I wasn't about too wait in a different line because this cashier decided to close the cash when it was busy. She opened the cash again, but I don't understand why it would be appropriate to close when the other cashier is so backed up and there are still people waiting at your cash. There are self-out machines which are completely useless for a lot of us because they don't accept cash.

The cosmetic department staff apparently think that they are better than all of the other staff AND the customers. The worst ever service and unacceptable attitude from employees. These people are employees who are hired and paid to help customers, not treat them like they are underlings who should be delighted that they bother with the customer. Retraining or good-bye!

Pharmacy lost my prescription, every time I call to have it refilled it’s a headache. Have never received an apology or heard anyone at the pharmacy admit the mistake is on their part. They also wanted to charge me a fee for the refill - for their mistake. Name is continuously misspelled (despite several requests to have it corrected) and when they’ve run out of your prescription they don’t call, instead you show up, wait in line to hear that they’re out. Also they created two accounts under my name adding to the confusion regarding my prescription, despite being reassured by 3 different pharmacy assistants on separate occasions that the error had been corrected. Haven’t had the best experience here.

I suggest to the CEO's of the company to follow up with this particular store and manager, if the CEO's department willing to hear my experience with this manager in particular, please leave a information after my review or just simple, check out the store at every corner, also follow up with the manager and his professionalism as a manager and customer service representative, because have to much doubt.
I really hope, for the good of the store and your costumers, CEO's department of the shoppers do something about it, and we all gets better service in all the ways.

These 5 stars are for the pharmacy. From the head pharmacist/owner, Dr. Tran, to others on the team, everyone was so pleasant, thoughtful and thorough. Thank you for such great service!

The pharmacy at this location is probably the best pharmacy I've ever been to.

David imparticular creates a really good atmosphere to descuse your healthcare options. He will really put in extra effort to ensure you are informed and confident in your plan for treatment. You can tell that he genuinely cares about what's best for you and is invested in your health and happiness.

The other staff at the pharmacy are great too. They are always very kind, courteous and focused. Thank you for makeing being unwell less scary and uncertain.

I always shop at this store coz it's close by. I really don't like the attitude of one employee there. I'm really tempted to write her name here, but then that would just be too spiteful. Although, it starts with a letter D and ends with a Y. A lot of times she's rude and sarcastic when you just ask her a question. There are times when she's in a good mood too. But in my experience, she's just not nice to me a lot of times already. I hope she would try harder to be more polite at all times to customers.

Consistently understaffed. You can always count on things taking a very long time at this pharmacy whether you're getting a prescription or buying toothpaste.

This is a busy location. The lines are often long and I often only see 2 cashes open. They do have 3 self checkout kiosks, but if a cashier has to fix something, good luck! This location does, however, have a pretty good selection, but not the full produce/grocery section that some other locations have.
