Embarrassing experience at the pharmacy and shameful service. The older white woman with glasses and reddish/purplish hair treated me like garbage. Not okay.

Called to look for a product. I was on hold about 7 times with about 4-5 different people repeating the same thing over and over.

The pharmacy is absolutely terrible. The staff are extremely rude and the wait times are the longest I’ve ever experienced. Every pharmacy I’ve been to the staff have told me to come back in 15 to half an hour this pharmacy needs 24 hours. Most of my medications are pre packaged. I also was being treated for infection and the pharmacist was incredibly rude to me talking over me when I was asking questions I transferred my file to Phillips pharmacy. The service is amazing

Absolutely hate the Self Checkouts that were recently installed. I now have to go find someone to open up so I can have a cashier ring through my purchases. Lotto = cashier, Gift cards = cashier, cash = cashier, personality = cashier. At least have someone there to open.

Worst customer service by pharmacy staff.
My doctor send prescription twice and they don't receive it. Doctor office staff make few calls and they don't answer it. Pharmacy also don't want to talk over my phone and not going answer their phones.

I usually don’t write reviews anywhere but my experience here provoked me to write this. My doctor send in my prescription and was asked for a specific brand for specific reason. They said “why do you want this specific brand. Use the standard brand”. While the brand my doctor wanted me using wasn’t in stock, they did not offer help to find another shoppers drug mart which had them instead they shooed us. When we called multiple shoppers and found a store which had the brand and asked this store to forward the prescription to that branch, they didn’t want to do that either. We had to ask them multiple time for them to do it. We were treated very poorly and one particular lady staff is very disrespectful and down right rude. She talks like we are bothering her while it’s their job to give us the filled in prescription.

Told me my prescription was not needed. They would not order in the prescription. Benefits would not cover it. Then tryed to sell me the over the counter brand they had. Lovell ordered it in within a day and my benefits did cover it. This is the third and last problem that I have had with this pharmacy. The ladies who fill the prescriptions have an attitude as well.

Very frustrating dealing with this pharmacy. They are consistently overwhelmed which results in snappy, frustrated workers. Some staff are nice, but my experience is bad about 80% of the time. I'm not sure if it's a lack of staff or organization but I hope it improves.

March 2 update: if possible, even worse. I've decided to support a smaller pharmacy instead, it's such a horrible experience dealing with this pharmacy everytime I go. I don't think they'll notice or care but I encourage others to take their business elsewhere.

There is a lockdown, but the owner of this location does NOT have anyone at the door counting/restricting the number of people entering the business, know one is asking any questions like.are you sick, have you been in contact with anyone who is sick. There is no wiping down of check out counters or debit machines.

Got my flu shot. Online registration not perfect, but staff at the pharmacy desk were excellent.

Usually not enough staff and they seem to not have much of what they put one sale at this location

I noticed a staff brought out bunch of Lysol wipes and I thought they will be putting them on the shelves but I noticed he gave one to a customer and the rest I found them hiding in the cashier counter as I was leaving in the store

Usually all is good in this store. However, this Saturday morning April 4th.there appeared to be too many people allowed in store at one time. Long lineups down through store. Some people not observing social distance in lineup. Some advertised sale items beginning on Saturday.stocked on Friday and sold out on Friday at full price
(according to staff) So not a good experience today.

Super service and so keen to help me return an online purchase! Thanks to Dean and team for making it effortless and for making me feel valued as their customer!

Have been using this store for years. Good service, friendly staff and usually lots of stock on sale items Pharmacy staff friendly and helpful.

My prescription took a very long time. Because of this I had to wait in the store feeling super sick. It was not pleasant.

I love this store, have been going to Shoppers since moving to Whitby 15 years ago. My only complaint is the pharmacy, the people who work there are great but seem overwhelmed all the time. I get that the area has grown a lot in the past years but I always feel like when I come in they don't have time, you can rarely get your prescription filled the same day and while looking for a prescription recently that was on back order nobody offered to call me when it was available again, seemed like it was an inconvenience to even look into it. I went to Walmart pharmacy and they were bending over backwards to help. Just a little disappointed in the service lately.

My wife purchased a $50 Canadian Tire gift card for Fathers Day. When I went to use it the card was not active. My wife went back to the store with the receipt to activate the card. The assistant manager told her to call head office. She called head office and was passed from person to person company to company. Apparently the card’s serial number was miss printed with a Petro Canada card number. The receipt also shows the number with Petro Canada. We have spent hours and hours days and days trying to fix their product problem. We kept getting passed around until I lost it on the customer service person on the phone asking why are we wasting our time to fix their mistake. The customer service person said they would fix it and to send an email. Multiple emails later no responses. The assistant manager should have fixed the issue and not make the customer.

After contacting the owner of the store, he helped us get a refund.

Very large Shoppers Drug Mart. Well-stocked very clean and tidy. We did not use the pharmacy. We we're in and out very quickly. Loads of parking here there is also a post office as in many other shoppers.

The only person more rude than the cashier was the manager. Worst experience I’ve ever had, bar none! Pharmacy is great though, too bad it’s in the worst Shoppers Drug Mart in existence.

Canada Post outlet is friendly and professional. My issue came with the front end checkout staff on two occasions. Completely rude and dismissive, right on up to the manager. Will never use this location again for anything other than mail, which is difficult seeing as Shoppers is practically a monopoly in Whitby.

I always get my medicine from here but the young white light eyed girl who takes your prescription information is strange. Sometimes her behaviour is off and comes across as rude. Shes said a number of strange things to me. Please give her some customer service training.

The staff in the front store and pharmacy were so helpful.they assisted me in finding my medicine.

At 8: 58 I was waiting to pickup a package as the post office clerk had her back to the counter. When she turns she rudely told me and the other lady in line that the post office was closed. I explained to the manager how rude she was it and how it wasnt even supposed to be closed. While talking to the manager, another lady overheard and agreed with me and explained to the manager about her horrible situations with the post office clerk. When I came back to pick up my package a week later during the day, it was the same post office clerk again and she was very dry and seemed angry. At least I got my package.
