The people at the pharmacy will always look at you like you are a burden to them. I was waiting in line behind a lady who was being helped for 10 minutes & once it was my turn, the pharmacist told me to go over to the other pharmacist who was on the phone before I got there & was still on the phone. I went & ended up waiting 5 more minutes while the first girl takes out the garbage. I had to get a third girl to come help me as no one seemed to want to & had me waiting for over 15 minutes when I was the only customer there!

& then when I asked what one of the medications does, they couldn’t even help me & I gotta call my doctor now before paying for the prescription.

Terrible. & this is far from my first interaction like this. The only part is that this is my home location so it is what it is.

Walked in to buy a Kylie cosmetic blush and didn’t see the colour I wanted on the shelve there so I went to the beauty boutiques cash register where two associates were. I waited for them to finish talking to each other. Once they noticed me BOTH employees just looked at me. I guess they thought I was standing in front the cash register for fun. Terrible. Saturday June 10 at about 1 pm.

Pharmacy personnel assisted in acquiring blood pressure meds for a visiting senior by calling the senior's doctor for a emergency prescription. Turn around time on this request was less than 2 hours. Thank you for your assistance.

Very careless people. I got antibiotics for my kid which was 10 days course and the pharmacist gave me only 9 days medication there was not a single drop of extra. When I came here to tell them about this, they said I have to bring a new prescription for the medication which was there mistake that not given me the right amount of medicine. Now again I want to go th doctor to prescribe me again for this medicine and want to start from the beginning. Irresponsible people and worst shoppers drug mart I ever seen in canada.

I had worst experience here. I bought some make up to gift someone in india and I found out later that I can’t send any liquid make up. So I had to return it and I wasn’t able to return everything. Anything I didn’t even touch since I brought them home and they said it’s damaged and opened. I brought it in the exact same condition. But they will not return its like I wasted $120 or more and all those things are just garbage for me. I don’t use them. I am never going to shop there again. I used to shop most of personal care and beauty from this shopper drug mart. Never again.

Shoppers Drug Mart is usually more expensive than other stores but I loved the shoppers drug mart because there available everything. Very good service and all staff members are very nice and well maintained and nice place.

I would give negative stars if there were an option. I went for the booster shot and they straight out refused to give me the shot when they have the vaccine available.

I looked up online a day before and saw they take walk-ins. I called the pharmacy and i asked about the vaccine, time and everything and the person told me its better to come in second half. I told him i will come after work around 6-7 pm as its close to my home and i will have 2 days to rest in case I fall sick and its very close to home so will be home by the time it bits me and makes me dizzy (that happened last two times).

When i walked in they said they don’t have it. And they don’t want to open a new viale. The saturday is children vaccine day so i cant even get on saturday. So basically they refused to give me the vaccine. I mentioned to them then this can happen anytime i come. I can’t keep changing my plans or missing work to come at a time when they want to give me the vaccine.

The staff was rude and kept arguing with me when their person gave me the wrong information and the error is at their end. They dont mention online that dint come saturdays or walk-in is only till 2or 3 or 4. They just want people to waste their time.

Its a vaccine shot not a flu shot that you can just take it and be okay. People have side effects and they need to plan when they are taking it.

Honestly they shouldn’t be open. Pharmacy individuals should be empthatic to people. Image being sick and dealing with rude and inconsiderate doctor/pharmacist.

Maybe not work in pharmacy or just close it.

These are the most arrogant and rude people i have ever met in my life.

The manager should take this as a complaint for the staff working on Sept 9,2022 at 6: 30pm - 2 girls and a guy. Teach them how to talk to people. They deal with people in their job.

Visited the Canada Post to retrieve a returned money gram transaction. I visited this location because it's closer to my home and not as busy as the Airport Rd location. The staff working at 6pm turned me away stating that I must return to the same Canada Post office the transaction was completed. I contacted money gram and was informed that information was incorrect. I was informed that the staff could process the return. Totally disappointed with the refusal of service. That was unkind and unprofessional. Management needs to review with their staff.

My favourite store for all my personal, health and minor medical needs. From cosmetics, toiletries, gifts and pharmaceuticals, to everyday items, they got it! Staff are friendly, helpful and courteous. The pharmacy and post office are super with fast and effective service. Everything you want, all at one exceptional place.

My in store experience is usually positive, nothing to complain about. The phone service though, MEDIOCRE! I can never get ahold of their pharmacy. I’m always on hold for a minimum of five to ten minutes trying to get through.

Went there yesterday to get a gift card and at the checkout she wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying and ignoring me and talking to her coworkers the whole time then she put the wrong amount of money on the gift card because of that I can not get a refund for the gift card terrible service!

In cosmetic section there was a white fat lady who was a clear racist and kept on looking at us and came to us saying u can’t use tester in a rudest way possible and said she will call police! For using a tester since covid is a thing it’s March 26 2022 even the mask mandates are lifter here in Ontario and if we can’t use testers why have you kept on the shelves?
PS: she was wearing two masks what else to expect from this shopper’s KAREN!

This is for pharmacist V. Nguyen who got my prescription ready within minutes without any prior request. As system didn’t update when I ordered online but instead of turning me back, she worked on it. Also I am very impressed the way she got all of my prescriptions ready, took everything out from original pack which is less hassle for me.

It's funny how Shoppers Drug Mart Customer Care has near identical replies to all the complaints. Also since moving to the area 10 years ago I've seen the quality of the customer service at the Airport and Countryside go down to below the bare minimum. From my experience it appears like management is all talk about customer care but, over the past 10 years, I've just witnessed things go down hill.

Sadia at the beauty boutique is absolutely terrible. She was so rude while I was making a return today for a lightly used product that did not react well with my skin. She began arguing with me and telling me I was rude when all I said was I have every right to make a return. She is the worst in this department. All the other ladies especially the manager always offer good service, but Sadia is so inconsiderate and does not know how to do her job. She has no manners and is terrible.

I visited this shoppers a couple of days ago and every single time that I have been there, the cosmetician who is tall, skinny and brown (I think her name is Sandy or something), is always so rude and always has an attitude. I came in to try some perfumes and when I asked her for her help she rolled her eyes and was not patient with me at all. When I asked her why she was showing so much attitude, she told me that she was having a bad day and proceeded to cry in front of me. (If you’re having a bad day, don’t bring it out on the customers!) I was so uncomfortable and did not know that to do. And when I asked her if I can try more samples she told me that if I wasn’t planning on buying anything that day, that she wasn’t going to waste her time assisting me. I found this incredibly rude and it’s very unfortunate that this shoppers drug mart doesn’t hire cosmeticians that are actually good at their job and that have excellent customer service skills. I will not be returning back to this shoppers. Horrible experience with that lady. And this is not the first time where she has shown me attitude. I don’t know why she’s still working there.

I purchased a Nintendo Switch game for my nephew without realizing he already had the same game. We did not open the game and took it back to this shoppers drugmart to exchange it for a different one. The Cash supervisor said they do not carry the game (even though I had the reciept) and they will not be able to refund me or exchange the game. This is probably the worst customer experience I have ever experienced in my life.

After being turned away from four, FOUR other shopper's the pharmacist Mr. Singh was happy to help my 16 month old with a rapid test, in order to return to daycare. Mr. Singh was very kind, gentle and caring when dealing with my baby. He even went as far as suggesting a few methods to keep his nasal passages clear. Aside from the excellent service Mr. Singh provided, the store is in orderly conduct, shelves stocked with ample variety of products! Very clean, fast and friendly service in the store.

Pharmacy staff is roud and slow, took 50 min for one prescription, I told last pharmacist why so long other places on 20-30 min max she replied then you should not come here and go to other pharmacy.

How is this a functioning business? Worst customer service I’ve experienced here in years. I was put on hold at 3: 20 pm and I’m still on hold for almost an hour.

They have given me less medication than has been prescribed by my doctor! Surely there is some legal issue here? First and last time I’m using this pharmacy. Useless. Everyone should avoid as all the previous reviews are telling us.

The associate at the beauty section named Harvinder (I think she is Asst. Manager) has no customer service skills. Doesn’t know how to talk to customers. If she can’t work until midnight and get tired at this time you guys should hire good people rather than hiring people on recommendation because she really is a real example of someone who has zero knowledge of customer service but got hired with only an influential recommendation. Or May be you guys don’t interview people before hiring for your store anymore. Look at your rating it’s already on 3.3 do you guys even bother to cross check your customer’s reviews? I will never visit this location and tell everyone I know not to. Just because these two rude ladies.

I won’t recommend people to get their covid shot from here. The pharmacy staff has no knowledge about the landmarks where to inject the needle. I guess they are just verbally instructed to inject on the upper arm without any training. The pharmacy assistant gave me a shot too high in the arm, I can’t even move my arm now. I am sure she gave in the wrong place, moreover the bandage she applied after the shot was literally on the shoulder joint, it’s a bone. She had no knowledge about needles and gauge sizes. When she inserted the needle it was horribly painful, i have had many shots before and this was my second moderna dose, it doesn’t hurt the way it did. Needle insertion during an I/M or S/C is painless. I wish I could have seen what she was doing. I would request the pharmacy to either train the staff on how to administer injections or stop administering. She literally gave me in the shoulder joint. Please teach them some anatomy before you delegate them these tasks. You people are dealing with lives of people, have some sense of accountability. Anyone who reads this review please avoid this pharmacy or if you can’t always turn your face and watch where they administer it. It has to 2-3 fingers below the shoulder and not on the shoulder. I hope my shoulder pain goes away soon because I don’t want to live with any chronic pain or disability. I am unable to lift or move my arm and this is not covid arm. I have attached the picture of my arm and what the heck is that. What is the bandage doing on my shoulder? I seriously hope and pray to God almighty I don’t get SIRVA or bursitis or any shoulder injury because of this negligence.btw i am a registered nurse.

Horrible customer service.

Employees need to be trained in terms of dealing with multiple customers more effectively and efficiently.

Arshpreet failed to exercise her customer service abilities at a time when it's most critical for business operations. I believe this would be a time to re-address and re-evaluate this location's customer service acumen as this has not been my first negative experience in the cosmetics department at this location. I had been to 3 other locations that day and failed to understand the reason for the contrast in customer service.

A smile really does go a long way, Arshpreet. Hopefully things get better at this location.

The cashier wasn’t helpful at all. I needed help at self checkout and she was yelling at me that if couldn’t do it properly I shouldn’t do self checkout. She should at lest listen to my problem as it was the product which wasn’t scanning. I felt so embarrassed. This isn’t acceptable behaviour at all.

This rating is for a single experience last week. I was looking for cologne and walked into shoppers on Airport road and Countryside in Brampton, in other locations the cosmetic counter personal are eager to assist you which is why I like going to Shoppers for my Cologne. During this experience I noticed 3 sales associates all standing around talking to each other, completely disconnected with customers entering the department. I finally approached an associate and asked for some assistance. I was shocked she pointed me in the direction for mens cologne and continued her conversation with the other associates, one which was applying makeup on herself. I then politely asked if they could suggest a milder scent, as it was a gift. She again pointed me in a direction without offering assistance. I finally walked out and said it seems no one is interested in helping tonight. I didn't think this was the level of customer service Shoppers Canada expects from their associates. Never the less I purchased from a department store.

Giving this review based on a specific visit. During this specific visit, they had a long line which required another person, and that person was dismissive of me from the get go. I wanted to ask questions about the Eggs they had on sale, as they didn't have price tags, maybe they forgot.

This second cashier asked for the next customer, me, however she started serving the person after me and interrupting me while I was asking questions as fast as I could as the lines were long. She started performing his lottery purchase and asking him questions, while all the while ignoring me.

And I mean I get trying to be efficient, but i don't shop there to get treated like I'm invisible. You'd think they'd want to appear at least a little bit respectful and non-discriminative.

I shop at this location all the time and it's sad that they have people who don't respect people's time or need for information.

Sad and scary experience happened here! Went in to purchase my fathers cologne and a couple of other things i needed and I was unaware that the beauty section products were to remain in this department and we were not allowed to walk around the store with the cologne. As I walked to the nutrition section I wanted to smell the cologne and make sure it was not a different edition, at this time, for obvious reasons i assumed management believed i was stealing. I got followed by 3 employees and yelled at by the beauty consultant for the plastic unwrapping. I needed pills for digestive system and wipes, however even while searching for these things I was being followed. I decided not to purchase anything and left, as I stand outside to call a relative to ensure this is normal in this country (i am new here) i see the manager staring at me through the window. I waved and he started laughing. Very sad. These types of things should be said to their customers when they walk in, the rules that they wish their customers to follow. Theft is serious and i understand their protocols, but they also dont know their customers background or their intentions. I know I will not be returning. Thank you

Went to the beauty boutique to exchange an unopened product I bought by mistake. Wanted to a product that is from the same brand, same price just a different formula. The girl at the counter said that I couldnt do it. She called the manager and she said she couldnt do it because she is new. Why keep untrained staff on the floor? I've never had an experience like this at this shoppers before. They're usually so kind. This associate and manager clearly do not know what customer service is. Might want to work at a call center if you cant help but roll your eyes at customers. Terrible experience. By the way, I went to another shoppers and exchanged my product with no hassle.

Very poor customer service in post office. Very rude behavior. There was a boy, his name is Gagan. He don't know how to talk to a lady. He looks like that he is drunk and he said if want to call on 911 than you can call right now. I was showing my id with first and last name. Everything was good and he said he will not give me my parcel. It's just a harassment. I am very upset today. I'll call head office and I'll complaint about Gagan. I think he was drunk on duty.

Dropped the prescription one pharmacist called and given the lesser copay amount but when the actual day of pickup came they increased the copay amount. I lost the trust in this pharmacy. I asked the pharmacist that i need to speak with owner she put me on hold and never return back i was on hold for 20 mins. Poor customer service.

Everything about this location is fine except for the fragrance department. They are the sole reasons for the 1 star. When you see a cologne sample, you would expect the box right next to it to be the same as the sample right? Well, NOT AT THIS LOCATION! It was just before closing and I was in a rush. I saw a cologne that I've wanted for a long time so I grabbed the box right next to it but when I got home it was not the right cologne. I went back to this location the next morning and I saw that the samples were in the same place as the night before but the actual boxes were placed beside the wrong samples. I tried to get a refund because I spent over $120 but they said that because the plastic wrap was open they would not accept the refund. I tried to speak with a manager but that was pointless she didn't even care to listen to what I had to say, she just wanted to enforce the rules.because rules are rules right? They claim that employees remind customers before purchasing to confirm that it's the right one but nobody confirmed that with me. Before going back for the return, I thought maybe a customer moved the sample to the wrong spot but after going back the next day I saw that the samples were in the same place. So it was not a customers fault, it was a stupid employee that didn’t know how to do their job of putting the right box in the right spot, beside the right sample and a manager that doesn't overview their employees work. Honest mistakes can happen, and she should've listened and accepted the return. Normally I wouldn't write a review, but I have to see them every time I walk into that location and it just reminds me of what happened.
