I now understand why this Shoppers has such poor reviews. I went on my lunch to buy an overpriced card to put in a parcel I was sending at the same time. I came with my label made and I purchased the card at self checkout, as there was no one at the cash. I also loathe a self checkout. For how expensive everything is anymore, I should be waited on or have to option to be waited on. I proceeded to the post office and asked if they would close the box, at which point I was told they don’t close the box with no other explanation, and it was the post office manager with whom I was dealing. I brought a tape gun with me because I just now assume that people cannot be counted on to complete simple tasks that should be part of their job and the cost of doing business. I then proceeded to the pharmacy to ask to speak to the store manager to ask why the post office cannot tape a parcel shut. No one really acknowledged me nor did anyone give any indication that a store manager was called, so I then walked away in a huff. Only then was I stopped and told the manager was coming. The manager had customer service and she was kind but I won’t shop here again. Not to mention, I have a coupon for 20% off today only and the 2 items I wanted to purchase, were not there. Shelves are pretty bare, I’m not sure what is available to buy at this location as there were lots of empty shelves. If you like being ignored and inconvenienced, shop here. Otherwise, I’d go elsewhere. I know I will in the future.

Extremely poor service at the pharmacy. Pharmacist was Susan Chong. We asked the lady at cash to speak to the pharmacist for guidance regarding a injury on my son's arm. We waited 15 mins and she sent the other lady with medication without even seeing the injury. When we asked to speak to the pharmacist again she told us she is too busy. She didn't even have the decency to come speak to us or tell us she is busy in person. After we mention this is strange behaviour for a professional, she said she was busy from the back. She still didn't have the decency to come speak to us. I always assumed the pharmacist was there told help but not in this case. Very sad and poor attitude from the pharmacist and our experience was very disappointing. The pharmacist definitely needs customer service training.

This pharmacy is abosultely usleess, hangs up on me, doesn't count prescriptions properly at all 2 years in a row! They don't deserve your money, stay far away. Completely incompetent, and unorganized, and useless. I don't have my prescriptions, they tell me to call the store, and the pharmacy grills me knowing what prescriptions are in need of renewal, and then hangs up. Health Care in Ontario, going down hill, save your time and money! To be honest, only reason I have been going there, is because it is nearby. Stay far away!

Have been going to this pharmacy for years - James and his team provide excellent service! I was very surprised to see the negative staff reviews - my experience definitely does not reflect this - prescription services and recommendations awesome - product selection always meets my needs - highly recommend!

Al the pharmacy staff needs to be fired and new capable guys need to be hired.
I had prescription for painkillers and the first lady asked me to wait after she created my profile. No one was helping me for next 30 minutes while i waited in their waiting area. Team has zero coordination. Incapable heartless people. All pretend to be busy but noone does anything productive.

Ive been trying to call the pharmacy for half an hour now but no one answers. As I read the reviews, this problem has been repeatedly complained about but seems nothing has been done. The owner only replies they want to know the details but nothing is done. Poor service. Complains are not really valued at all.

Staff are useless. I wanted to exchange an unopened face mask I had bought that seemed expired (I buy these constantly from shoppers) The cashier however seemed more interested in convincing me it was fine rather than listening to me and I had to INSIST on an exchange. She refunded me and told me to go cash out at a self checkout with absolutely no one behind me in line - what are you being paid for as a cashier? Seriously it's your JOB

We've never been to this Shoppers before but having had a bad experience at a Bramalea City Centre, we decided to booked our flu shot appointment here. They were on time and friendly. The pharmacist was great with the kids.

The pharmacy has the worse customer service ever! So bad I'm thinking of moving my business elsewhere!

I visited this shoppers today. The girl named jezzy in beauty section was so sweet, she did great work for me to find products for my skin care. I really appreciate her service and thanks for making my day great. Kisses!

Beauty section seems to be nice. Looks the same as other Shoppers. Nothing new here. You'll get what you want. They have options.

Absolutely terrible service here. They put a sign up at their post office they they are on break and will be back almost 1 hour from when I arrived there. I asked to speak to the manager and who I got was Tina who tried to act like she is the manager, but when I advised I’d be leaving a review she then said she is only the assistant manager. There should always be a worked at the post office, as a company as big as Canada Post to inconvenience customers by keeping them waiting when it’s Shoppers job to ensure enough staff are trained so that there is always someone able to help at the counter. I’m also filing a complaint with Canada Post customer service to ensure you guys don’t do this again.

Everyone who works here are extremely friendly and will always help you with any issue you may have, great selection of products, I highly recommend this location.

I called 6 times to request information about a medication. Never answered my calls and all calls ended with hang up on their side.

Always only one of four checkouts open, a common tactic to coerce the use of self-checkouts, which are meant to save them money (not you) while wasting your time with a slow and seriously flawed method of checkout. Lots of employees to run cash, like the retailers with livestock chute line-ups, management holds you in contempt. I avoid these places (not so smart after all, eh), this place just happens to be 2 minutes away. Zero star rating (they force one star in order to post).

Yesterday my dad went into this shoppers to pick up milk as it was senior's discount day. He was being assisted at the self checkout with a staff member that was supportive and friendly. When scanning his optimum card the senior discount feature was not working properly. The staff member asked for assistance from her colleague and unfortunately the staff member was rude belligerent and stated my father exceeded the limit of purchasing milk. He only picked up 2 bags and it was 2 different kinds of milk, he was well below the limit. When speaking to customers treat them with respect and dignity. To deliberately embarrass him in the store and harass him is completely unacceptable. I will see to it that this goes up to corporate, this cannot be tolerated at all. Speak to your staff about sensitivity and respect training, it goes a long way when we are kinder towards one another!

Worst Pharmacy, store phone system doesn't work called 23 times and put on hold for 35 mins. Rude pharmacy service and claim charges your insurance without contact your to let you know there is a prescription filled. Assistant store manager treats student workers poorly, bullying which violates their human rights and other ESA standards. SDM Head office should provide proper training to management and pharmacy store owners.

Great little location. Can be busy at times for prescriptions usually a 20 min wait. And they have been super busy due to giving the flu shot and covid vaccines. So make sure you have some time or better to drop off prescription. They have a fresh produce section as well.

This review is specifically for the pharmacy staff. I don’t typically use this pharmacy, but I was short on an over the counter item that I needed right away. I experienced terrible customer service. I felt like I was bothering them by asking one question about the location of a product. If you’re going to interact with people, especially as a health care service, learn to be kind and flexible. People depend on your services, and if you’re not willing to help you might as well shut down.

Gabby is so full of herself. Arrogant and extremely unprofessional. Interacted with her more than once. So disappointing, you guys hire such people and don’t even put in the effort to train them.

Poor service. I am an international student travelled to Canada. I had both the on arrival and 10th day covid test negative, but still the pharmacist was reluctant to do my post quarantine covid test (required by College). Though after testing, the pharmacy was supposed to send me the test results through online means, as said by the pharmacist, but almost a day later than the expected date, waiting for the results, when I called the pharmacy for the same, I was excused that the reports can't be shared through online means and I need to go to the pharmacy to recieve my results.

I picked up bunch of the same product which had the reduced price under.

They place their products in wrong shelves, under the wrong price and won’t admit their mistake. They do not inform their staff about their own policy that when a customer picks up an item which is under the wrong price they get that product for the price written on the shelf (reduced price), and if you are buying multiple of the same product then the first would be 10% off and the rest of the items would be for the price written on the shelf (reduced price), rather than their original price. So disappointing! The employees continue to prove that the customer is the one on the wrong but won’t reflect on themselves once.

Upon contacting the customer services of shoppers, they also agree with what I mentioned above about their policy but the store employees are completely arrogant and unaware of their own policies, and they do not put in any effort to do their research.

Spoke to Gabby at the cosmetics and MO at pharmacy, they both provided an excellent service. There is nothing else we can ask for. They were both polite, friendly, professional and knew their stuff. They both went out of their way to assist us.

Really appreciate their service.

Ran in to get a couple of items. A few of the staff were standing around talking together and made me feel like I was bothering them to ask where something was - just pointing in the general direction and then continued chatting together. Took me a while to locate what I needed. It was on sale so that was good, but overall experience was not what I expect or have previously experienced at a Shoppers Drug Mart.

I do like this shoppers.very convenient but sometimes too crowded and was disturbed to see lady with no mask yesterday. No excuse for that right now.

Worst customer service at this store. Dealt with 3 employees. One employee name is Olivia, not sure.
All three of them sounded so arrogant and zero customer service skills. No wonder why other reviews are negative as well.
Went to buy something listed in the flyer on discount. When the cashier scanned it, got scanned at the higher price. Showed her the flyer and told her to correct the price. She called other two ladies at this store and they wasted 20 minutes of our time. Instead of correcting the price which was wrong at their end (100% sure cause we called customer service in advance before going to the store to confirm the availability of the product), they started telling us it’s completely different product than the one in the flyer. Which is a complete lie. Really disappointed with the service. Will never go to this particular shopper neither going to recommend anyone.

So disappointed. I purchased the 2020 wedding coins. The wedding is cancelled due to covid. Unfortunately I dont have the receipt and I was told I can not exchange for a 2021 without receipt. So now I am stuck with these coins for a 2020 wedding. I will not be purchasing anything from here again. I will go to a different shoppers for purchases.

Have been here many times. Came in one day and they didn't have me in their system so they had to remake my whole file which took a while while being extremely sick.

Called to ask about a flu shot for a senior family member. They lied and said they were all the same. The only difference was a label of high dose but all of the vaccines offered had no differences other than brand and name. This is a completely inaccurate lie. When dealing with health you must be transparent.

I have visited this pharmacy many times, used to be a great service. But now, especially with the pharmacist Betty NG, I am sorry to say but very poor service. She is very careless and doesn't value for patients time at all. I have waited for my order for over an hour just because of her negligence.

The pharmacy at this location is usually busy, but even when they're not they are sooo slow to fill your prescription. Half the time the Pharmacists look frazzled and like they can't keep up.

The store itself is like your average Shoppers. Pretty clean and easy to find everything.

My home store small peacefull and well managged, have $20 branded perfumes as final sale must check them when you visit.

This review is for the pharmacy in the store. They have more than once given me the wrong drug when filling my prescription. They have also stored my prescription that needs to be refrigerated in the hot box. When I inquire as to why it is warm and not cold, they ensure me that it was kept in the fridge. Then they call me later to ask me to return it to the store. They also frequently do not fill the prescription in full, instead they write on it “owe 2”, which I will not notice until I get home as they do not inform me when I am in the store.
Another issue is that if you have a prescription for a pill that is also something you can buy over the counter, it is extremely difficult to get the pharmacy to fill it so that it can be paid for through benefits. They insist that I can just buy it from the shelf. You will have to ask multiple times to fill the prescription anyways.
I understand that no place will be perfect, but I have never had issues with any other pharmacy.
The store staff on the floor are always nice and the shelves are always stocked and clean. I have no complaints for the store itself.

Convenient since they are open until 10pm. A little overpriced on most items but occasionally you can find a good deal. The parking lot in the plaza is way too small. Majority of the time you will not be able to find a spot.
