Don't bother to post a real concern or complaint here. Nothing is done about it unless to go this route: After posting this complaint as i have had to with the horrible treatment subjected to not to mention how they racially profile customers, make assumptions, they are incredibly rude, they even engage in antagonistic behaviour baiting customers into arguments which thy have done with me and discriminated against me not only because of my first nations status but the assumptions of my being gay with their actions and comments. Plus I have proof of their misconduct and their lies with a recording from my phone and a Received from prior purchase that they indicate that they do not exempt taxes for but they did prior. What you need to do is post your complaint here and then share it with social media share it with tiktok share it with Instagram YouTube Facebook. And then ask all of your friends to share it with their friends as well as through messenger and make a big stink about it and a big deal about it because it is a big stinking it is a big deal. And continue reposting it every single day for months until they do something about it like fire the staff or correct the problem or compensate you for their discrimination or their behavior towards you just keep doing it like I'm doing I've started that today. Especially the staff are so bloody rude at this particular location extremely rude. Their security guards are A complete joke like what can they do anybody? Not too much, they can't put their hands on you put yr hands on them then have them charged and then sue shoppers, They can't make you be quiet if you're getting into a confrontation with the staff you don't have to listen to them what are they gonna do beat you app because you're defending yourself or you're honoring a principle that they're not honoring in the store and they're disrespecting you you're supposed to be calm about it and allow them to disrespect to you and speak to you in a rude way no you don't have to what are they gonna do to you? Nothing they can't do anything to you. Let them call their security on you and elevate the situation when you're having civil dialect with them because they know they're in the wrong and they feel contacting the security will intimidate you and get you to go away rather than deal with the content the conflict And resolving the issue they would rather dismiss you and think that they're taking the higher hand By abusing their authority as an employee in the staff and having u kicked out of the store. Their behaviors are other than Epic and ethical. You go in there at night time and they all speak punjabi with each other and they yell across the room to each other in punjabi, Talking about you as a customer the security has come behind me and medications and stood like so close I could feel his breath and follows me up and down the aisle like I'm doing something wrong! I'm shopping! I spend more money in there in one month than they make in their paychecks I'm constantly in there shopping I don't look like a poor person or someone who steals or anything Because I'm not. They're just rude They don't like me in the store because I stand up to them and I stand up For myself I don't take any garbage for anybody and I certainly won't be abused by a bunch of losers who work at shoppers drug mart

I wanted to share this important message I have a lovely friend who is native and goes at this location to shop around and etc. Causing no issues on of the workers white lady approached my friend and said she took all the perfumes and my friend said she didn't to the lady that she doesn't wear perfume and the lady called the security on my friend who is native.
She came to me since I know my friend she works for me and she would never ever take things. There has been alot of racism, discrimination and issues at this location. Please be careful

Literally the worst shoppers location in Toronto. I went there to buy a dior perfume and needed help picking right fragrance from the shelf, since it seemed quite puzzling. The lady with grey hair from the cosmetics section “helped me” getting the fragrance I choose from the shelve. However, she gave me the wrong one! I came back the next day to exchange it for the right one. But this same very rude representative told me it was my fault that i picked the wrong perfume! I told her the one i wanted and she gave me a different one. She also told me I was not allowed to exchange it and that its final sale after she’s the one that gave me the WRONG box, and I hadn’t even opened it. She was incredibly rude and her colleagues were just laughing. I would expect a better customer service for a $200 perfume thats not even the one i asked for. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SHOPPERS!

You cannot purchased any cold/flu products at this location… no stock for weeks. And, if you try and call, the pharmacist it takes 15 minutes to get through, and then the pharmacist explains that he has no control over the stock floor. Crazy.

Shopping at every location as a black man feels very uncomfortable. As soon as I walk in I’m the only be being followed. I try to space out and just get what I came for but it’s feels very humiliating every time, even just waiting for my pharmacy order is a hassle. I have been followed in basically every shoppers I go to and I feel in welcomed every time. I’m not the only one though and shoppers have to train their staff. It feels like security and staff only work when a black person is on their store and we all thief’s.

The overnight pharmacist was very helpful personable and efficient. However the other staff I encountered (pharmacy assistant?) was the polar opposite: expressionless and simply pointed me towards the pharmacist in charge when I asked him a question. So it depends on who you interact with

The security guards are so clingy and will see you as if you were gonna steal something. It is so uncomfortable to shop. There is difference between doing your job and making someone feel awkward about even being there.even though i wanted to shop and look around I didn’t and just got 2 things and i was out! Arragont and rude staff that refuses to follow SDM's policies for returns of electronic items claiming that electronics are non-refundable despite the online policy stating that they are within 30 days of purchase. Staff is arrogant and ignorant and very disrespectful. Will never shop at this location again.

Pharmacy assistant Dwight was really rude and didn't not even look at my prescription just asked for my name and that was it came the next day and picked it up. When I got home it was my wrong medication and now I'm with two nasal spray and no tablets for my allergies. Also made a transfer for the two prescription from another shoppers and yet only one was transferred?

My boyfriend’s flu shot appointment was for 11: 50 & they were 40 minutes late. There are more staff here than patients. Don’t book an appointment here if you value your time because they certainly don’t value yours! I can also back up other reviewers’ stories about trying to mark up on-sale items. This happened to me on another day here with hair dye & the cashier had a nasty, unapologetic attitude the entire time & clearly didn’t want to honour the sale. Never uttered 1 apology despite being in the wrong. There’s a direct correlation between how long you spend here & how miserable you’ll be. The people who work here are a prime example!

Never use own cosmetics staff since you can be accused in stealling here.

The salesperson saw my personal Lancôme lipstick in my hands when I used it close to the Dior showcase. The salesperson started looking into my hands when I walked past her into the pharmacy area she started screaming what kind of lipstick I have. I replied her that this is my lipstick. She continued the interrogation and I had to open my lipstick and demonstrate that it was used. I felt very hurt, I had never been in such situations and I burst into tears. I got breakdown since I was accused of stealing groundlessly. I regularly buy cosmetics in this store and never was in similar case. I bought this Lancôme lipstick at this store 2 months ago. I had to call my husband, who was at home with our 6 month old baby, so that he could come to the store and be able to tell the salesperson that it was my lipstick. Her colleagues began to apologize, and in the meantime she took off her badge and pretended that nothing had happened. I made a purchase and asked her colleague "Why are you apologizing instead of her? " I received the answer "She never apologizes and you are not the first customer she humiliated. " When my husband came and tried to talk to her, she was rude, shut him up, refused to give her name and waved her arms in front of his face. We got her name, her name is Natalie, I hope your store has cameras so you can see everything. I hope you will not leave my complaint without attention, contact me and apologize. Otherwise, I will sue the store.

Pretty big Shoppers Drug Mart location. Wife and I went in to see if they had a couple of cosmetic thingamajigs my wife found online on the Shoppers Drug Mart website. Big no to both items. Well… at least the person helping us knew right away they didn’t have those items in stock. I guess we’ll just buy them online when we have more things to purchase (for free shipping).

Went to purchase a hairdryer that was being advertised as $26.99 but was being charged for $39.99. Both the managers were not willing to honour the price due to false advertisement. They go on to tell me that the product is out of stock yet it was placed right where the $26.99 tag was and also indicated the same name as well as description. She also acknowledged that the product was placed on the wrong section but goes on to refuse the price adjustment. They expect their customers to go by the barcode number as if that would make any sense to their clients. Poor customer service and poor management overall. Need to advertise your products properly and not cause a confusion to your clients.

Why are you always out of Buckleyes Phlem cough syrup? For years. You would think since the thing sells out so quick that ya'll would stock up on it. Kellogs Corn Flakes is another one. Always run out and don't have any for a long time. Then when it's finally in stock and runs out again? It's weeks before it's back in stock. Gotta do better.

I had booked a flu shot appointment and showed up on time and waited for 20 minutes and did not get the shot. The person administering the shot was in her room for 10 minutes with no one going in then proceeded to leave the room and seemed to be providing general support to others. I enquired when I will be receiving my shot and was told another 10 minutes. What is the point of having a booking system if you cannot honour the times. Total lack of respect to a person who took the time book an appointment, took the time to get to the pharmacy and show up on time. Pretty sure it is a waste of time writing this because I am pretty sure they do not care considering the number of one stars they have.

Would give this place zero stars if I could. I've gone to this location a total of three times, and I have had a horrifically bad experience three times. All the previous reviews saying this location has the worst customer service of any Shoppers Drug Mart are absolutely correct. This store will not honour sale prices, and are extremely rude and aggressive when you point it out. In order to comply with advertised flyer prices and maintain their status as a Shoppers Drug Mart banner store, they will only select one specific item as the sale price and charge whatever they like for the other items in hopes you don't notice when you are checking out. For example, if all 6 pack Pepsi and Coca-Cola drinks are advertised as a certain price on the flyer, this location will only sell diet ginger ale as that price (and surprise, diet ginger ale happens to be sold out), and all other 6 pack Pepsi and Coca-Cola products will be their regular price. If you bring it up to the cashier, they will tell you it's "select" items only. This is basically just bait-and-switch, and I don't understand how this store has been allowed to continue operating. Will never be going back. (By the way, the 700 Bay location at Bay and Gerrard is owned by the same owner, and that store is also not good but nowhere near as bad as this one at Yonge and College.)

I fell on a bike ride from the streetcar tracks and scrapped my knee bad. Luckily I was close to this store and bought myself some bandaids - how convenient. They were very expensive just for 10 of them, however it was a “do or suffer” situation. I felt much better then biked 40 km home afterwards. Thank you!

Condescending, profiled, rude, and discriminated.

Had a highly traumatic experience at this SDM at the intersection of Yonge and Carlton. We are from India, and my parents are visiting on vacation and wanted to view perfumes and other cosmetics. The person we were dealing with in the perfume section - Natalie (last name unknown).
Distinguishing features- white, age >50yrs old.
Date of interaction: June 02,2022. Time window approx 6: 30 pm - 7: 30 pm
As soon as we got in and asked her to show us fragrances, she responded curtly "They are in that section (pointing) like I told you last time you were here". I asked her if she recognized my parents and she replied "Oh yes i've dealt with them before". This was the second time my parents have ever stepped foot in the store. As tourists, they are bound to be a bit overwhelmed but Natalie made sure to express her displeasure.
For the next 15-20 minutes we tried avoiding her as much as we could and help ourselves, but she had access to keys that opened cabinets which held the fragrances. We called her to have her show us / test one of the perfumes to which she responded in a condescending tone - we don't do that with these fragrances. In the 15 seconds that we were using to decide if we still wanted to purchase this product- she responds impatiently with "Need time? " we responded with "Yes give us a few seconds" to which she immediately and abruptly locked the cabinet and stormed off to her section.

Still hoping to get what we needed to get done at this store, we went to where she was to have her show us a Burberry perfume, which we decided to buy despite having had a terrible experience so far already. Things got much worse from hereon.

At the billing counter, when Natalie scanned the item, my father asked her to scan the PC Optimum card that I have on my device to avail the senior citizen discount, to which she responded loudly- "we can't give you the discount if your son has the card" - we explained that this had never been the case in the past, through several other SDM stores where we had successfully completed transactions in the same way- with my father present besides me and scanning the PC Optimum card that the store itself was promoting, on my phone. We were able to confirm that this way of transaction is legitimate through another SDM store afterwards.
At this point, we had born too much rudeness and blatant disregard if not active hostility, to not confront her and I told her that we were acting on what store employees had told us and what she was suggesting - ("can't scan PC Optimum card if it's in your father's name but on your phone") was not our job to know since we're doing what other employees at SDMs had told us to do, and what her problem was with us.
She then said "I've DEALT with these customers all of last week" to which I asked her what she meant by "dealt with", as if they were a huge burden and had caused her some great anguish.
To this she responded LOUDLY and extremely rudely- "Maybe you should conduct your business in that store we don't want to serve you here" and she deleted the scanned item and stormed off yet again, leaving us absolutely shocked and traumatized at the billing section in the cosmetics area.
I went after her to demand to see her supervisor, and ask her name, to which she simply DID NOT RESPOND and walked off, and I noticed that her name tag was completely covered. Shaking with the trauma and the disbelief, we went to the main billing counter where the supervisor informed us that the manager was not in store. We repeated our experience to him to which he robotically and absolutely unempathetically responded "I apologize sir". This experience has left us traumatized, and absolutely shocked. My parents don't deserve to be treated this way on their vacation. Nobody deserves to be treated this way. We haven't done anything wrong. We demand to have this investigated. It has given all of us- my mother, father and myself trauma and greatly impacted my parents' visit to Canada. Worst experience in my last 4 years in this country.

The beauty section supposed to close at 10pm. But it closed at 9.50 pm yesterday. When i asked the store staff about it, they said its 10 pm and we are closed. They were so rude with their response.

Worst experience with every bad things you can image. I’m loyalty shoppers customer and shops for this place twice a week. The cashier always chats with friends or disappear for some reasons as there are auto check machines. The pharmacists girl always tell me they’re run out of the medicines and they’re don’t help you to call other stores like Rexall does. And last time when I’m rush for my baby’s medicine, they asked me to wait 30mins to pickup and I waited over a hour to finally get the medicine.
No idea about why this store isn’t performing well in such a great location.

The worst Shoppers in Downtown Toronto. Do not go there and expect a great customer service from every employee. The cashiers were extremely rude including the pharmacy team. Some angry employee from the pharmacy told me that I needed a better eyesight to find some medication. Whenever I asked for help the first response from most employees was asking what’s your problem? The employee sent me to the shelf while what I was looking for was right under the counter in front of the employee. If this location someone from the management would take action and that would be great to reach out to me asap.

I have had nothing but awful experiences at this store. I even went to call shoppers head office customer services and was told that they don't get involved with the owners because they just try to meadiate the issue. I was told by them that the owner has refused to contact me about my customer service issue. Wow loblaws what own shopper drug mart could do better dealing with the franchise owners of these stores that sully the name of shoppers. Staff are not AODA trained. Owner calls tells to never come back because I was abusesive to staff what is untrue this owner just hates people with disabilities and profiles people of minorities as other reviews have siads

The gentleman there tonight was new to his role as a pharmacist at this location but I received exceptional pharmacy service from him. He was attentive and respectful. I’ll definitely be coming back to this pharmacy.

I'm giving it 5 stars for the post office. The staff are always friendly and patient, even when there's a huge line.

They also have an automated drop box where you can scan and deposit packages. This is a huge plus because it's operational as long as the store is open.

The weekend sales here are incredible. It's difficult to find eggs cheaper than their $2.99 deal. However, I'm racially profiled by a security guard almost every time I walk into this Shoppers. I put up with it for as long as I could but one shouldn't have to brace for being followed just to buy cheap eggs and dairy products.

One of their flag shop downtown. Very convenient location, open 24h also the pharmacy inside is open 24h which is very convenient in case of emergencies. The store is quit big has a large variety of beauty and hygiene product and few ailes of food fruits dairy.the store is clean and the stuff is very helpfully.
They lose 1 star for the high prices. The prices are more on the higher side but They have good promotions you have to watch for them you can save 25/30/40 even 50% only if you’re a smart shopper:)

If you don’t offer the service for passport photo then do not hang the poster up in store. Been there 5 times in 3 days, called ahead to make an appointment, when I arrived the excuses were either “lack of stuff” or “too many people waiting in line”. The last time I finally took the photo and the person told me they didn’t have a SINGLE USB for the electronic copy. Lmaooo was so disappointed. It was not my responsibility to prepare the USB. If you wanna take passport photos, go exposure photography on Wellesley, 5min walking and so much better service.

They currently open from 8am go midnight.

My favourite thing about this store is the self serve post office package dropout machine on the back of the store.

Very convenient if you regularly ship packages and don't want to wait on line ups or can't make it during regular business hours

This place is nothing short of terrible. It’s also questionable how Wilson Tsang (pharmacist on duty tonight) obtained his license. Zero knowledge, mixed up my prescription with another customer (gave me a narcotic mistakenly) and has no ability in providing compassionate care whatsoever. Why choose a career in this industry if you can’t deliver proper patient care? People are relying on the pharmacist to prepare the medications they need for treatment and/or survival. Wilson Tsang was very evidently frustrated at the pharmacy students on shift tonight who are obviously in training; grinding his teeth and being very aggressive towards them. He was unapologetic and had no remorse for his mistakes and lack of service. How does the owner Hitesh get away with hiring incompetent pharmacists? This is people’s lives on the line! I will be putting a complaint with the OPA and college of pharmacists. This is just not acceptable.

Poor customer service. Went to get a refund without a receipt and asked about the possibility of printing the receipt and verifying the purchase using the credit card that I used. The cashier scoffed at me (youngish average height dude with dark hair) and gave me attitude saying how he’s worked here for a long time and knows when to give exceptions. Went to another shoppers and they told me that that store should have the ability to reprint the receipt from my credit card and I could then get a refund. Waste of my time.

Arsh the pharmacy assistant was rude and unwilling to do his job. Certainly will be contacting head office. I have even had to complain to the college about their pharmacist.

Worst customer service ever! Update from April 20,2021. Been there to bought beauty products and staffs basically ignored me. Until I said I bought more products. Never try to give customers (gift with purchase) that supposed to come with the products you buy. Never want to give samples to customers. Very ignorant, unless you buying more stuffs. But trust me, buying more doesn’t help their attitude to improve to the customers.come to other shoppers drugs mart guys. They are ways awesome more.

I had a very poor experience with a staff member today. I have a service dog. Upon entry to the store the security guard asked if that was a service dog, I said yes, he asked me then if I had a certificate I told him i don’t have my purse with me but I do have a digital copy I can show you. The security guard proceeded to say ok go ahead just hurry out. As I am at Canada post, a manager by the name of “Mark” approached me and in a very rude manner asked if that a service dog where is the certificate. I told him i have online copy and as I was searching for it on my phone, he rudely told the staff member don’t provide service to her and left. He was the one to ask me for the certificate yet did not even bother to wait for me to show him the certificate. I asked for an apology and he refused to do so. I was provided with a business card that said a completely different name - Tyler was the name on the card. This is very unprofessional and discriminatory towards people with disabilities.

I wonder such a big store have no technology incorporated to check on product's current status. To add, if shoppers cannot sell a product in any of their stores it should not be listed in flyer. Best place to work and shop at! I have worked at this location for 10 months and i would not deny to agree how great this shoppers is and they don't step back to take care of not only their customers but staff members. I would have never left working here if i hadn't move to another province. Best managers and customer service. This location provides a whole bunch of necessary items including a wide variety of food which i don't feel many shoppers do. Highly recommend to visit this store (from a customer view).

I have been a customer for several years and the staff covering the Canada Post desk have been wonderful beyond measure. They are informed of all Canada Post products & services, truly professional.

However, Shoppers Pharmacy is another matter. I have encountered issues while accessing my medication. I have not seen the 2 pharmacy staff responsible for awhile now, so either they have moved on, or quit. Good riddance.

Been using this location for over 3 decades and don't agree with all of the negative reviews. Wide selection of products and services. Great hours. Pricing is comparable to other locations and items on sale are the same regardless of location. Staff has been helpful and courteous. Beauty Dept.staff have been pleasant and always give me free travel items. They do have problems with long lineups at cash which is why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. Lineups have improved with the pandemic but I tend to use the self check-out machines unless I'm checking out in Beauty Dept.which makes it easier. I don't recall ever having to wait to cash out in Beauty as well. There's an urban element of course being downtown with homelessness visible by the entrance which they must deal with on an ongoing basis as well as loss prevention but that's the reality of a large city.

This store needs more cashiers on the regular cash desks. Even with the self-serve kiosk, there are still long lineups. And what's with the security agents being so unpleasant? They act like they're ready to make an arrest when asked a simple question. There are other pharmacies in the area - shop there instead of here.

Reading the reviews, I realized how systemic is the bad customer service in this location. Most of their reviews are rated 1 star and even their own employees had put bad reviews. A lot of reviews show people being harassed, wrongly accused and if they speak up for their rights they are escorted out of the store.

The post office lady refused to serve me because one of the document I presented was in French. I am a Canadian francophone but I spoke to her in English and never asked her to speak French. She only had to check my id and the address on the other document I presented but she denied me the service claiming she doesn't understand French. She called security on me and a rude manager who's name is Mark came yelling without even listening to what I had to say. He took me on the side harassed me and threatened me without even trying to de escalate the situation. Then he humiliated me by escorting me out of the store. The only nice person out of them, was the security guard who was calm, professional and kind.

I hope someone from shoppers headquarter will read this and do the necessary to make customers have a better experience.

Pharmacist Daniel ignored me. Script that usually takes 5 minutes to fill took an entire hour. Switching pharmacies as shoppers isn’t the only place to get prescriptions!

They mark up their prices by 20% more than other shoppers (I purchased something for $30 at a nearby location and in this location it was $37.99 and they refused to price match even though they were both shoppers and just a few streets away, I had receipts and everything showing I JUST purchased it), refuses to refund returns which many other shoppers allow. Just know you’re getting totally more scammed than usual when you shop here.

Absolutely disgusting customer service at this location, won't ever be coming by again. Security guard is a CREEP that harrasses people around the store in an absolutely non-discreet way that creates a hostile environment with his PREDATORY behaviour. He made no attempts to offer assistance and ignored all attempts of communication.
The rest of the staff are unbelievably rude, arrogant, and incompetent. Overall, pathetic as pathetic can get. 0 Stars if I could.

I went to this location to get my passport photos done and once I arrived at the passport centre, was told they were not done properly and couldn’t be accepted. It was noted to me that this is a common occurrence with Shoppers, so I suggest if you are looking for passport photos look elsewhere. They charge 20$ for a product we can’t use. Other than that the staff was kind and the location is also very clean and well kept.

Especially in the evening they have one of the workers walk around and literally (I mea. Literally f) follow every single patron around the store — I am a regular customer and it was so off putting I sensed a non welcoming feeling and i don’t think I want to come again I saw the guy pretending and then once he realized I noticed he followed me for a good 10 minutes he moved onto another customer and he was literally following him like he did to me at him trying to hide this is very unprofessional I understand theft but to be right behind every single customer who walks in and play cop following the persons every move is over top, childish, and literally insane to the point it makes the customer not want to shop there period. I was going to take a picture and complain this is making me not come back to this location especially j was a regular before! Lol!

Pharmacy staff have no idea what they are doing and REFUSED to let me speak to a pharmacist. I went here because my usual pharmacy was closed and was trying to pick up, with all the correct fresh prescriptions, meds I have been taking for years. They have my full med history - they verified it with me.

They also refused to use my actual name which is in my file and how I introduce myself. I'm a trans dude and was deadnamed and called "her" even after asking repeatedly for them not to. I have a BEARD.

Will not shop here again and will tell all friends how transphobic and unprofessional pharmacy staff is.

I work early mornings so I stopped in to pick up some advil and the manager noticed me right when I walked in and proceeded to follow me around the store and peek at me from around the corner. It was super upsetting and off putting. I understand you don't want people stealing but it was over the top. Also maybe as a deterrent to help stop theft have a cashier working so I don't have to do self check out? Will just take my business to Rexall from now on.

I had an awful experience the other day. I was looking for butane cartridge refills for wireless curling iron. The lady at the cashier didn't seemed to understand what it was and said they only carry printing papers. I tried to explained it to her but she wouldn't listen and kept yelling at me the same thing. I gave up and said thanks anyways. When I turned around and started walking away, I heard her saying "there's too many weird people today" for everyone to hear. That was very offensive and rude. No customer should be treated like that.

I would give a 0 stars if I could, pharmacy employees don't do their job properly. Once my friend went there to ask about melatonin pills and the pharmacist told him to get 3mg instead of 0.5 which is the wrong dosage to start

The Indian cashier that works here basically every day and night is single-handedly one of the rudest person I have ever met, it's always quite the pleasure when I have to see him (sarcasm). Other than that minor stick in the mud, this location is quite nice. It always has everything I need and the products tend to get restocked pretty quickly. Also, it's open 24 hours, which is a godsend.

I went there a day ago and some gentleman who works in the makeup/perfume section who was a middle aged Asian man kept following me around the store. I think this is very upsetting and completely uncalled for. I did not get his name at the time as I was very annoyed and upset by this. I truly expected more from this location as I tend to go there often. Please note that this individual did not ask if I needed assistance and was very obvious in the way he followed me, even my friend commented on it. Not a good feeling at all.

Easy to flow through and secure (deterring shoplifting) I can find everything I need quickly with a large selection of diverse (and sometimes kinky/funny/sad) staples from the grocer, pharmacist, home care and and candy store (s) as well as a lovely selection of his and her primp aids. Whistle up to the available self-serve kiosks, pick up the bike (bike parking is woefully under-serviced at Yonge College as well as Church Carlton #cityoftoronto) and sail home with (whatever may have been needed by someone you love) in no time, earning you the title: "hero". I have immense respect for the attendants suffering with a smile a boatload of balls-out crazy customers.

Let me start by saying I visit this at least twice weekly and have received great customer service. Today however I was very disappointed with the staff roughly handling someone who they stated was shop lifting. The woman was pleading with the manager saying that the security was hurting her arms. There were two men pushing a woman up in a corner at the entrance. When I requested that they be less aggressive their answer was that she stole. I guess that gives the staff the right to aggressively handle a woman. I then took my phone out to record the incident and the manager and another staff ushered the woman into a closed room. I am not condoning stealing however the staff at Shoppers does not have the right to use force with women. I spend a lot of money in that store and I will not shop there anymore.

Since the above review I have been constantly followed by the security in this store. Two weeks ago I had an emergency at night and had to go to this store. While at the checkout I witnessed the security pushing a vulnerable woman to the ground because she stole a pack of lighters.

Today I saw the manager of this store and another employee physically holding a vulnerable man in front of McDonald's at Wellesley and yonge, three blocks from the store. I don't condone stealing however I don't believe it's the employees job to chase people on the street.
The manager then informed me that I was barred from his store. When I asked him why he stated that I call out the security and caused him to get hurt. Should the security not following me I would have no reason to call them out. Also maybe if the staff at this store stopped acting like police officers they would not get hurt.
I am going to file a Human rights complaint should they stop me from accessing Canada Post.

Extremely rude, incompetent and inconsiderate employee at Canada post, charged me $2 to use their tape to seal the mail. And so is the manager of shoppers drug mart of this location. Please hire people not just based on qualification but also on interpersonal skills and open mindedness.
