WHY reduce your hours on the weekend when there's another Shoppers less than a block away? The pharmacy desk always blocks their number, they always run out of the most common prescriptions (penicillin even) just a poorly managed store, even the owner has a bad attitude and isn't very courteous when he has to cover the counter. Too bad their franchise license can't be revoked.

Worst experience. Took my passport sized photos here and it was rejected. Went for a refund and they said they can’t cause the passport office kept one with guarantors sign. So they declined to give me any refund.

The lady at the cashier was extremely rude just because I tried returning an item that gave me a rash. She yelled at me because 0.005 mm of the box was torn while I tried opening it, and said that she would have to pay for it from her pocket! Thank you for ruining my day. I will never shop here again.

Worst location of Shoppers I have been to. This used to be my go to place to run errands for stuff I needed on my way out or to study but now I'm being what feels like profiled. There's this man who tries to act nice asking how I am but is EYEBALLING me every step I take as if I'm stealing. I have seen him watch me across aisles. It makes the experience uncomfortable and I feel unsafe. Never again.

I got my Australian passport photos here and could not recommend their service more highly. I was looked after by Brigida who was knowledgable on the strict Australian requirements, was efficient in her work and most of all friendly and kind. I had recently applied sunblock which was making my face shiny, too shiny for the photo requirements - Brigida went out of her way to help me fix the shine and even got blotting tissues to solve the problem. She ensured the photos were perfect and I cannot thank her enough. Exceptional service!

Went through the beauty entrance to look at and most likely purchase something. Picked up the item I was very interesting in to have a closer look at and one of the beauty reps immediately ran over to me. She grabbed the item out of my hand and let me know I can come back and pay for it when I’m done shopping. I was shocked and completely embarrassed making me feel like a thief. And assuming that I wasn’t there specifically for that item. I actually wasn’t shopping for anything else. Horrible experience. Will be getting all my beauty needs from different location where they don’t make you feel like a thief for simply looking at a beauty item.

Amazing Beauty Boutique team. I’ve been getting my skin routine from this location for years and they give the best advice. The merchandisers are also very helpful with locating products around the store. Overall great customer service!

The location of this Shoppers Drug Mart is perfect. It’s on my way home and I know there’s always fresh new products because of how busy this location is. The staff at this location are very kind. They always offer to order my product via online if it’s not in stock - always the best experience here.

One of the worst locations I have ever shopped at. I'm moving my business to Rexall cause I am sick and tired of being profiled, harassed, and disrespected. Complaints are a waste of time. A star is more than they deserve.

Great service! I was just going in to browse this morning and was offered the COVID-19 booster shot by the security at the door. I didn’t need an appointment. The wait was quite short between registering and actually getting the jab.

They are never open! Yonge and Bloor and they close at 6pm. Makes no sense. Whoever runs this place needs a business degree.

Bought paper towels for a spill in my purse and bent over to clean it up and when I stood up I was surrounded by security. Slow day?

Friendly and attentive service. The pharmacist here is knowledgeable and very responsive to questions when I asked. They're quick with filing the prescriptions as well.

Not a fan of this location -terrible service, and when you walk in sometimes you feel like a criminal being looked at when you are looking for a product and have to walk isle to isle because you can’t find something you can’t assume everyone is going to steal they need to change there mind set does not make you feel good!

So unkind and cold atmosphere of store staff when I asked if They had any masks left. They just said they don’t have any and I just have to ask any other stores without showing any nuance of compassion or empathy while I was looking for some desperately for my parents back in my country. So disappointed and I hope your guys find someone better to fix the atmosphere. I felt like I was shopping run by soulless robots.

When they close at a certain time they already lock the doors a few minutes earlier and deny customers even if they wanna get 1 item, I get it they wanna go home but when they open they take their time and end up opening 10 min late then it just shows how inconvenient they are and disregarding the time of their customers

This is my go-to Shoppers location for cosmetic/beauty products. For the past 5 years, I have received friendly service and helpful product advice from the Beauty Boutique staff. The staff are knowledgable about the brands the store carries, and have helped me find the ideal products for my sensitive skin.

Stumbled across this reviews section when I was googling looking for the store number and I've got to say I'm a little shocked. I've lived and worked in the downtown area for 15 or so years and have always found the store and the people who work here to be exceptional. After reading the reviews I can only surmise that the people who wrote them are privileged and entitled, expecting to do whatever they want or treat the staff like dirt and still expect to be treated like royalty. For example a previous poster complained about their experience in the beauty section saying the 'blonde' was rude to him and I question which 'blonde' he is referring to? The 'blonde' that transferred a fragrance from another store for my husband's Christmas present (I found out later that transferring means physically going to a store on their time off and picking up the product), or the 'blonde' that hand delivered products to my neighbour after her hip surgery for over a month, regardless of whether they were beauty products, or the 'blonde' that took the time to show me how to download the optimum app to get the most out of my points- there are apparently a lot of blondes there! And while I understand that the issue of race is a complicated and nuanced one - it seems like common sense to not open products before you have paid for them. In summary - great shoppers, convenient location, great staff and for those complaining I would suggest trying to treat those you interact with as human beings not faceless retails workers and you'd be surprised at how you are treated in return.

I'm not surprised it has a 2.8 rating. The blonde lady working in beaity section was super rude. Telling me she works 20 years with the company and knows the policies of returns until I brought up the website and schooled her on them. She was ignoring me, turned her back on me, as did all the other associates. They have every right not to exchange something, at their own discretion, but don't tell me what's on the website. She was literally denying what the website was saying and most of all she walked away. Awful awful personality and zero customer support.

NEVER buy anything of substantial value here, they'll give you the most difficult time trying to return it. Bought a top of the line Omron blood pressure monitor here, three days later it stopped working, tried to return it and the Manger some brown kid with attitude (relative of the owner) was rude and gave me the biggest hassle trying to return it. Been a customer for over fifteen years, several times they run out of common prescriptions like statins, blood pressure medication and even antibiotics. NOT worth the hassle anymore I'm using Amazon and online prescription delivery from now on, hope they go out of business.

Barbaric staff behavior that I have witnessed first then was subjected to for pointing it out.

The staff humiliated a black gentleman for opening a bottle of juice before paying for it. That man was standing in line to check out. The staff was ganging up on the guy from every direction, yelling and humiliating him. They just won't let it go. I approached the staff and asked them to back off and let him pay for the item, be respectful of the guy, he is a dad. I told the staff this is not necessary, they are escalating the situation. I have told them I have done that before but was never spoken to or humiliated like that because I am wearing a suite and I am not shopping while I am black.

At the moment the same male staff who was aggressive to the black guy walked up to me and started yelling. I walked to the express checkout. I was told I need to lay for the stuff. I said I need to pick up one more thing. The staff was following me, then they kept following me to the express check out. One female staff she stood next to me, made sure I pay for the $3.49 wet wipes and $5 nail trimmer. The aggressive male staff followed me too and was yelling at me while I was paying for the items. I got the receipt and my items. I still had to pickup my prescription drugs from the pharmacy, the female staff asked me to leave, I said I have business here, the staff followed me to the pharmacy, then security was called in and asked me to leave. It's mind blowing, the staff is a group of savages, I asked pharmacist, Dr. Vanessa, after I picked up my prescription to escort me out to avoid conflict with the staff. The security guy was standing next to me while I was talking to the Dr. I asked for space and respect my privacy. Basically, the staff at this Shoppers behave is savages and racist towards black people. I am not black when I stood up to Shoppers racist profiling I was humiliated and verbally attacked they tried to silence me and unlawfully pick me out. Disgusting store the manager should be fired so is those savage staff members. I got picked on and asked to leave the store because I defended a black man who was a victim of racial profiling.

The staff and security are absolutely savage and I will never shop at this location EVER again. I went in today to buy cologne for my husband. Immediately when I walked into the store both women starred me down and watched me walk all the way to where it was. Once I took it from the shelf I started walking to the makeup section to buy concealer but I couldn’t even make it half way down the aisle before the security guard literally came RUNNING down to me and grabbed the cologne right out of my hands. He then proceded to act like it was a policy to hold it until I was done shopping. I get there is theft, especially in big cities and I understand staff being alert and I get keeping a product at the counter for safe keeping until purchased. But to literally run after someone and GRAB an item from my hand is completely unacceptable. He didn’t say anything about keeping it at the counter until after he had grabbed it from me. I was completely startled. He needs a lesson in the differences between doing his job as security and borderline assault. It’s not like I was hiding it or trying to put it somewhere to steal I just had it in my hand as I was walking. BRUTAL HUMAN INTERACTION.

I wanted to buy a foundation powder and they didn't have a tester. So I picked whatever one that seemed closest to my colour. I asked the beauty boutique if I can buy it & if the colour doesn't match, can I return it? She said sure. So I bought it. As I went over to the mirror. An employee walking by saw me opening the package and says, "you planning to pay for that? " I responded with, "I already did" as she saw me with my shoppers drug mart bag, asked me, "you got a receipt? " After showing, says "thank you". I totally get where it might've looked like I could be disrespecting merchandise, but her tone and question was pretty offensive. Who taught you to talk to customers like that? She couldve been smarter with her question and observant. Terrible experience.

One of the worst locations. Staff are extremely rude. They should open at 10am on weekends, at 10: 05 you’ll see them chatting without opening the doors for patients lining up on the transparent door (yes, patients, this is a pharmacy btw). Also, they are always out of stock when it comes to medications.

Nice place with many discounts. Saw an item that was 50% off so I bought it thinking it was a great deal. Came home (Scarborough) to find out that was Metro's normal price so yah; it's expensive.

The store is not big and some products are not availabe in this location however, the staff in cosmetics are very nice and helpful.

Pharmacist is rude and unhelpful. The staff is always in rush and unable to communicate properly with customers.
