I bought an ointment a few hours ago, when I took it home and opened up the box, there was nothing inside. I also needed assistance with a few other things as well, and tried to get someone’s attention, but no one came.

Booked a minor ailment appointment for my daughter and then when she went there they told her they were too busy to help her. Very disappointed.

Pharmacist was a worst person ever here.
She was unhelpful and arguing seeing i need my prescription and was in pain already.

I was surprised by how the staff are kind and really wanting to help. I was helped by zahra who was so kind she immediately helped me find what i was searching for and even offered help to carry the stuffs since there was a lot. I give jigh marks for zahra and i will be coming more often to this location for sure!

Terrible experience with Sarah at the pharmacy on Feb 7th 10: 40pm. I asked someone behind the counter to speak to a female doctor about a female health question, he told her this, and although she was far behind the counter and was standing directly beside her male coworker she loudly asked me with attitude, “can I help you? ” Clearly I wanted to ask about a private matter and to be faced with a lack of respect for this, let alone attitude, is terrible.

Currently on hold for the pharmacy; it has been 47 minutes as of now. This pharmacy is the worst.

Time for me to transfer to another pharmacy. Almost every month there is an issue getting my medication. I transferred one of my medications to another shoppers during the holidays, and I guess they just decided to transfer *all* of my meds. I've since transferred back that one medication, and picked it up at Main and Emerson. Tonight I was told that my other meds, (which I never transferred) were somehow now in another city. They also gave me 64 pills and I paid for 84. This place makes no sense.

If you are looking for a pharmacy that you can depend on, please do not choose this Shoppers. The majority of the pharmacists here are only willing to do the bare minimum, and I'd expect more from folks that typically make 100k per yr in salary.

2 Issues today Oct 9 5pm.
I dropped in today Oct 9 5pm (1st issue) to pick up the balance of my Diltiazem which I has already paid for since they had to order more and gave me a weeks worth 7 days ago. When I came in 7 days ago I gave them my empty pill bottle which indicated 1 refill left. Today he refused to give me the balance of the medication even though it was a refill and already paid for because he said the system indicated my doctor had not yet approved. I got tired of arguing the fact it is already paid and they gave me 7 already because approval was not necessary due to a refill.
(2nd issue) I am on a mild medication (can't recall the name) for attention deficit. I gave them the prescription earlier at 3pm same day. He refused to give it to me because he claimed my prescription is not due and is in fact 10 days early, as it is a controlled substance. I explained that this store ran out of it another time I came in for my prescription and give me what they had (10) to hold me over. Since then more than a year ago every time I come in to get another prescription they give me this same story because the (10) given to me at one time must not have been subtracted from the balance they already gave me or they didn't account for it in their system. It should have been corrected the first time it happened.
Bottom line is a line up customers had to sit and listen to me argue with this employee for 15 minutes and I left with no prescriptions and one of them Ditiazem is for heart defect. I have to wait another 2 days as Monday is a holiday. I feel at risk.
This is really scary these kinds of mistakes related to peoples health are going on in this store. I have used them for 12 years and all this started about a year ago or so.
When I come in to discuss this with the manager I am also considering moving my business.

Very poor service for delivery of a covid vaccine. After checking in for my scheduled appointment, I waited 27 minutes by the empty vaccination station while the pharmacist chose to continue to work on prescriptions (there were no other customers waiting) rather than take the 2 minutes to administer the vaccine at the pre-scheduled time.

We got one of the best service. Came in all confused after receiving a request letter from the government regarding random Covid testing. The owner of the pharmacy was very professional, explanatory, polite and fast. The test was done by her quickly and tender. We would like to thank her very much again. If everyone will perform their duties same way she did today more people would be happy and healthy. Thanks a million

Wish I could give a zero. I purchased a USB charging brick. Out of the box it didn't work. I was not given a receipt.
I was refused exchange and was told I didn't buy it from the store! Yet even after showing the cashier the exact same brand right beside me. This is disgraceful. The supervisor is clearly incompetent if she can't look up a purchase from the day before.

Nov 16,2021: This review is based on telephone wait times and their lack of policy to serve customers in order of their arrival, or rather their apparent haphazard approach to dealing with the phone-in customers when they remember they have them on hold. Waited 15 minutes to speak to a pharmacist and say I want to book my covid test. After verifying "yes" I have pre-ordered it and "no" I don't have symptoms, they put me on hold. Expected them to get their reservation book or system up and be back in a couple minutes. No, they just put me on hold. Perhaps I'm waiting for the person booking appointments to arrive for their shift in 5 hours or maybe they felt they needed to do an inventory check or have lunch or plain old forgot. Certainly grateful I no longer have to pay for long distant calls. 50 minutes in and still waiting for the clue parade to arrive. Will happily change this review if I end up having a good experience.

Worst pharmacy I've ever delt with. I had never had any issues with prescriptions previously until I started coming to them. Somehow they manage to mess up my prescriptions almost every time. They are very disorganized, I'm always waiting at least an hour for my prescription even if I call it in ahead of time. Don't use their pharmacy. Also everything in the store is overpriced. The people are nice but the pharmacy is a mess.

I would suggest Sarah for any beauty related consultations.honestly, she would recommend based on your skin tone and type. I have never seen a sales person recommending the each and every qualities of a product irrespective of the sales. She is cordial, and congenial with lots of knowledge. Thanks

The staff here that I've encountered are all friendly and knowledgeable, but that's not the issue. Given the location, obviously this location is going to be very busy. But the pharmacy is almost always understaffed, and this is clearly a failure on the part of management. Prescriptions are often ready up to 3 days after you're told they will be, and if you call, the phone will often go unanswered.
Honestly, just get some more techs and assistants in the pharmacy and it'd be a huge improvement.

The Shoppers itself is fine, but do not go to this pharmacy. The wait time is always 15-20 minutes, even to simply drop off or pick up a prescription. I've also been told my prescription will be ready the next day, and arrived only to be told it wasn't. I'm not sure if this is due to them being severely short-staffed or something, but do not come here!

My experience with all the pharmacy staff has been so positive, especially when I compare it to other Shoppers Drug mart's. Everyone is kind, accommodating and respectful. The woman in the glasses, who i think is the lead pharmacist? Has always been very helpful and knowledgable. After switching over to this shoppers, I can't recommend it enough.

Spent hours waiting in hospital to get a prescription. Drive to west end as hours say midnight. Arrived at 11: 35pm and it was closed.

Always waiting for Thursday. This store is taking car of student and senior citizens. Every Thursday they provide special services and give discounts. I recommend this store for all.

Staff are bunch of peasants, the store is ALWAYS FILTHY. I have caught countless times OLD and EXPIRED food, and not just a few days old! The staff seems very uneducated and have poor attitudes! I WOULD REFRAIN FROM SHOPPING HERE AT ALL COSTS!

The price tags are often misplaced or not updated on time, so you should always check the receipt. Тhe cashiers are sometimes pretty rude. I work at McMaster University, across the road, and have been a customer from the very beginning. At first, it was a good store with a welcoming manager. Now, it feels like some cashiers hate customers. Today, for example, the cashier refused to serve me, saying that someone was ahead of me in the queue. We explained to her that she was wrong, but she didn’t even apologize, she just carelessly said "fine". She talked to me as if it depended on her, whether she would serve me or not. I am disappointed in this store, and most likely won't be a customer anymore.

Had a harrowing, humiliating and traumatizing experience in this store today!
While going through the personal care section, there was this sales girl who never came to assist us. As we spent a little more time checking items in that aisle, this lady (white) intimated the security and then he kept on trailing us!
I was wearing a hoodie and was accompanied by my wife; I am an Indian.

I am okay with the security doing his job, but we need to understand why this lady never bothered to check with us and why did she call the security on us?
We expect an answer from the management.
Was this because of the hoodie? In that case what is the dress code for shopping at Shopper’s? Also, please make sure that the same is communicated to public.
Or, Was this because I am a south Asian? In that case, please let me know which nationalities are allowed at the Shopper’s stores?

We have shopped for almost 2 years in stores in the same vicinity, especially the Fortinos and never gone through this kind of disgusting & pathetic experience.
The experience at this Shopper’s store was never great, but today was the worst it could get.
You lost a customer today and we will make sure that this experience is made public.

(they sell expired stuff) bought yogurt which was expired a month ago, no clue if they ever check their stock for months.
