Made a COVID Shot appointment
… pharmacist did not honour the time appointment instead she attended to drug dropoff & other tasks. WHY make an appointment when you don’t honour it. Waited until 12.45 for a 12: 20 appointment! No respect for the schedule.
HOW disrespectful

Very unprofessional, discriminating and disrespectful employees. I’ve never experienced this before, this was ridiculous. Nowadays, you can’t even shop in peace. They always think you’re doing something suspicious. We live in 2023! Put it to an end!

Update August 3,2023: I have not been able to reach this Shoppers Drug Mart for nearly 3 months now. Literally have tried calling them 30 or 40 times. Disgusting customer service especially considering you’re dealing with people’s medication. I will be leaving this pharmacy for sure.
Several times I have tried to call in a refill prescription and I’ve been on hold for literally an hour each time or not gotten through at all. They are either understaffed or don’t care to answer the phones. Strongly considering changing pharmacy locations because of this.

Nice environment to get some emergency groceries, sometimes you don't find what you are looking for but you can get alternative.

I'm at the pharmacy and have been waiting for about 25 minutes checked with pharmacist how much longer it'll take she said another 30 minutes. Instead of being on the computer she should be fulfilling the prescriptions claiming she's very busy. No customers no other patients just me. Do better. I'll be changing my pharmacy since they don't pick up calls or value their customer/patients time.
Don't reply to me with your lame rebuttal check your terrible rating for the pharmacy at this location.

June is really helpful and very kind. He is very patient to all your medication requests and always extend the helping hand to help the people. It is a blessing to have people like June, specially when you are a patient. Hope June will never leave this location, where I get all my medications.

Pharmacist was helpful but out of stock on most children's medications, went on a holiday and was still open and has most things you need to buy.

This location is wonderful. After our interaction with Andrew at the pharmacy, we switched our prescription files over to this location during Covid. I was prompted to write this review after an awesome experience with Diane at cash yesterday. She took the time to contact the pharmacy to find out about an urgent product that we were looking for. Although they didn't end up having it, she took the time to at least check. Thank you Diane️

This one is the best compare with other shoppers in this area. The pharmacists I talked to were very nice. (The worst shoppers is one in Van Horn and Victoria park. There are two fierce female cashiers whose life priorities are fighting).

I have always found the entire staff to be polite, respectful and helpful. I think we need to remember that policies are set by their head office.
The pharmacy staff is exceptional. Always informative and knowledgeable no matter how busy they are. Kevin is particularly helpful and always pleasant.

Overall my experience at this location is good. Also give thumbs up to the the pharmacist, they are friendly, not like some other shoppers location, they are too busy to talk to you.

Pharmacists are nice and professional at this location. I like shopping at this shoppers as well

This is a busy Christmas time and the store is so cheap to hire extra staff for post office. Post office is closed during lunch hours. You lost my business forever

Them doritios are so fire including cheetos gimme a buy one get one free cheetos and i will buy all of them detos are insane fire Keep up the good doritios packaging

Just went to pharmacy and they had most of the medication I requested but some were missed and not available.

Terrible service at Pharmacy - polite staff but obviously understaffed. Multiple visits and every time the wait is hours.not minutes. I’m currently on a 20 minute hold waiting for the pharmacy to confirm if the order is ready.after they’ve had it for 4 hours. Hold music is not to my taste. Hire more staff

I have never seen people try so hard to not cash people out. Today I got so fed up I left my cart and walked out.and what's the point of self checkout if someone has to constantly help you. I am a 3 min drive between 3 different shoppers and I choose this one.well no more. I will have prescriptions transferred.

This Shoppers drugmart store has a great variety of products n i have been regular a customer for years now. Yesterday night around 8 pm, I visited again for some of my home items n was precisely looking for some skin care products. The staff/cashier at the cosmetics section was very helpful n gave me all the needed info n i bought that particular Serum. She also offered to check out my purchases at the cosmetic section n while i was still looking for few more items, she actually took my shopping cart n took care of it until i was done.truly appreciate. We had a pleasant short conversation n she went above n beyond in delivering excellent customer service. Unfortunately i missed on asking her name. Keep up the great work n best wishes to her n the team at this store!

There are many very unpleasant experiences in this store. First of all, in the pharmacy section, you never trust what they told you the time to pickup your medications. They always break their promises and make nonsense reasons even when you following a scheduled date or time. During this Covin-19 pandemics, people are very hard to make a decision to go out.when you finally fully prepared putting a mask on and wearing gloves, taking a risk to pickup your pills and they telling you it’s not ready yet, how upset you would be? Secondly, the staff in the checkout sections are very rude, moving very slow and not follow the que. In addition, you can see leaking liquid, broken eggs in the refrigerator. If any customer service issue occurred, the store supervisor /Manager also unable to show their proper manner to dealing with and resolve them.

I feel sorry for this great location having the worse pharmacists you ever dealt with they pick on you And the act above doctors the manager (Karen) and supervisor (Argie) they are unprofessionals, Racist and should never be in a position to deal with people's health and condition they make you feel like a criminal, make you feel like you are lier there are so much negative reviews about them I hope this bring awareness and pls have your business else where until they longer in charge.

Called last night 2-3 hours before closing to check availability of nintendo switch. A man answered and said they have the lite in stock, but only two colours are available. Then called again this morning 2 hours after opening, a woman picked up the call and she said it was sold out. I asked if she could check on the computer to make sure. She raised her voice saying " I don't know who you were speaking to, but we haven't had them in MONTHS. I am STANDING in the office now. We keep them in the office and we DON'T have them. " What a terrible attitude.

Edit: called the next morning and turns out they did still have the switch lite in stock, but the colour I wanted was already gone.

This SDM has the worst customer service. The front cashiers are rude, don't have any manners and don't know how to bag. They always run out of product, especially on the two day sales. Usually, they don't have what I want, but it's more the way they conduct themselves when you approach them that's most annoying. You know, nobody really cares anymore. The pharmacist is just as bad. That's why she must attract the staff she has. All about them. Sad.

A convenient location with all the departments including a small fresh groceries section, post office, pharmacy, and beauty. It can get quite busy but not if you go through the self-checkout as many of the customers seem to have trouble with that at prefer going to a cashier.

That Asian lady in Canada Post, if you don't understand english, go to learn it. You don't have to be like a 50 yrs old menopause woman to your customer.

Large store, bright, has everything from toothpaste to food, and has extended hours. Very handy.

It's Shoppers - this one is clean and generally has what we came for.check out is slow at times due to the lack of staff at the checkout. Staff very friendly, some of the staff super good and always very helpful. Pushing people to the self-checkout is not always appreciated, I'm not a big fan of these since they cost people there jobs. I shop here every week.

Service is slow and disjointed. No attention to detail. Moving through their job like they are in a daze while my fiance is waiting in pain in the car

Everytime I go in I find everything I need. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and friendly and timely.

It's a shoppers drug mart. If you think to yourself "Oh, I need something, Shoppers will have it. " This shoppers will not have it. It doesn't carry a lot or variety.

Bigger store, open till 12am which is great! They have a huge pharmacy, ATM machine, and Canada Post.

Wait times are short and they have a wide selection of many different items. I would recommend for daily needs.

Shortage of staff is a problem in this store and is probably the reason for all the bad reviews about this store.

The pharmacist here Narjis Haider gave me the wrong puffer which doesnt help my asthema and refuse to give me the proper one, she will only give me the proper one only if i pay full price for it without going through my insurance, which tells you that shes afraid of the insurance company finding out. Scam! Dont buy your medication here if your life is worth something. I have started the complaint process on the ministry website and will do everything i can to her license suspended. She should not practice medicine in canada!

Newer location, big and clean but staff doesn't know where simple items are, waiting at the cashier is pain every time I've been there.

The pharmacy staff at this location are not knowledgeable at all. On separate occasions they have messed up my prescription and have confused myself and the doctor on my dosage. They informed me that they had to order my medications and will call me when it comes in but never end up calling me till I follow up with them couple of days later, and at that time I had to find out that they had the wrong phone number even after I updated my information with them the day I gave in my prescription. When you end up calling them out on their mistake they just give you blank stares as they know it's their mistake and they don't know what to say. Will be purchasing my medications elsewhere to be safe.
