Authentic Gujarati dish. Samosas are the best that I have tasted in the last 20 years of being here in North America.
Thali is great. Haven't catered from here but seems like a very busy place for chartering orders.

We visit this place almost 3/4 times a month. Some of the best dishes to try are
- Spicy Smosa, Patra, Undhiyu, Lilva kachoori, Faradi Kachoori, Veg Thali.

One of the best place to have Gujarati food in GTA. They have Kathiyawadi thali special on Sunday.

The staff are so rude. Me and my friend came last week to give catering order for my marriage at that time the person name JEET is telling me that samosa is included in full plate. But today I came to fix my order and the same employee JEET told me that samosa is extra and behaving so rude.

1. Food test is good, no complaint. People liked it.
2. Food quantity is uneven:
With respect to order catering they did not provide vegetable quantity enough, puree was provided too much. They should keep a proper person who decide to provide proper quantity of food. When we check 82 dishes was used but last 6 people did not get chana and potatoes Vegetable. My aim to write this detailed review is they can improve quantity estimate, rather than increase the quantity of rice, dal and puree, they could balance the quantity. Reduce dal, rice and puree and increases vegetable little more. We don’t expect more food but we want proper balance distribution of food.
3. Last time when we visited to pickup catering they had a line up and took 35 minutes, they should respect the customer’s time.
4. Food received on time.

I always write positive feedback but if i do not provide input they will not improve and it is their lost in business.
I will change my feedback, if i will see improvement.

Even If you have paid for Tiffin service in advance and go there to pick up, expect at least 30-45 minutes minimum waiting irrespective of whether there is any rush or not. Once it even got to a point when I waited 1 hour. And this service is not an exception for a day or 2. This review is based on 13-15 days visit in store for pick up. How long can a person wait just to pick up Tiffin which is already ready? I’m not blaming any particular person but only management, Seems like lack of employees. It is forbidden to even complain kindly, after my concern was raised to one particular cashier, she definitely got me my Tiffin within next 10 min but her anger was clearly visible while transferring the food into containers. Do you think this kind of angrily served food I should be excited about? I said Thank you. Take feedback constructively.

I Ordered tiffin from them first time and it was delay by two hours and they told me that driver was different and all. Now on next day they come to the location and without even dropping the tiffin they go away even the driver didn’t even call me single time! They even charge me for the tiffin and now today they didn’t even try to deliver me as they told me that yesterday you were not on the location. Now on every single day I try to call them and no one even pickup the call! I have send them text they didn’t even reply to us. Really worst service I have ever seen.

I had Shriji cater food for a wedding and a few other events. There food was really good and catered on time. Everyone at the event was prasing the food.

Excellent food! Ordered for my wedding and everyone loved the food. 10/10 recommend the food from here!

We visited them on a Monday evening but still it was so busy! It was my first time trying their food and I was amazed. Best ‘samosas’ I’ve had in a while in Canada!
We also tried their ‘khasta kachori’ and it was also delicious. Their ‘vati dal khaman’ were also very nice; definitely don’t get such good ‘vati dal khaman’ anywhere in the GTA.
The staff was nice and courteous but they were unable to manage all the orders. It took a while for them to prepare our order even though it wasn’t a very big order.

Ordered Gujarati Spicy Samosa and Patra for take-out and both were prepared fresh and tasted really nice. Felt like eating back in India. Will definitely more things from Shriji.

The manager/owner was too nice to help even though we reached after the outlet was closed. Glad to see an Indian business owner supporting customers and working on such nice customer service!

Sriji Catering provided multiple menus for our wedding celebrations. The quality of their food and their staff was amazing. The food was delicious, the staff was very courteous. Thank you for helping create a wonderful celebration for our events.

Very good place for eating authentic Gujarati food. Every kind of gujarati food and snacks available and it's very tasty.

Now they are overconfident with customer satisfaction. Guys don’t go. Quality are going worst day by day.

Staff has a little attitude - not sure if it'd work pressure or just their nature. Do not want to mention the name.

Bad experience, poor customer service and poor management. Just order food by walking in, had to cancel at the end. Waited for like quarter-hour.

Their savory (unsweet) khaman with green chiles is TO DIE FOR. Wow. If there's heaven on earth, it appears when one eats this khaman. Almost everything else we had here was also great - shrikhand, tindora, oondhiyu. The bhinda was ok (not great but not bad). Overall great experience and can't wait to come back.

Food was okay but zero star for customer service.
Especially the girl on the cash counter is rude.
They charge 2.5% for credit card which is not valid. They sell mango pulp instead of mango lassi.

Fast food quality is inferior, due to rush they just made with whatever they have available.

Gujarati thali is good.

Horrible service. We called and placed an order, but had to wait for more than 1 hour. Not recommended.

The food tastes good but the service is not. Dine in only if you're okay with cleaning your own table!

I ordered khichu today and it was so hard and dry like made 3 days before. If u don't have fresh food cancel the order next time but dont serve old food to people. It is really disgusting. Wasted my money!

Worst customer service. I ordered veg thali like this restaurant closes at 8 pm i was trying to call them they didn’t pick. And they finally picked at 7.24pm then I ordered thali he said we are closing in 5 minutes i said but you are closing at 8 pm then he said ok then come before 8 pm. I reached there 10 minutes before, then they said sorry nobody wrote your order and we don’t have any details of your order, like seriously. Then they said if you want thali we don’t have rice, I said ok give me whatever you have because i was getting late for my work. There was no lineup, no customer but people who are working there, they are doing nothing. Wastage of time and money.

It used be one of the good restaurant for Indian Gujrati food. Food quality has gone down with time as it gets busy and same goes with customer service!

I came in and bought the dal. The dal is just water no taste, nothing. It was like pouring water on rice.

Took kaju katri and mix sweets boxes.

This guys are serving really bad food some times. I ordered food from skip. All food was served cold and stale (vasi). We ordered sev khamni and it was smelling bad and tasted bad too frankly worst gujarati food ever.

Sharing a recent take out experience. Customer service is pathetic. We've been made to wait for more than 15 minutes to pickup the order which is already ready and we could see in the counter with the order name! After patiently waiting for 15 minutes, requested the cashier to get a snack to purchase over the counter. The person checking out got angry and uttered "Oh man". We understand they are super busy at times! But isn't that customer service comes at top priority for a restaurant! Hope management addresses such behaviour.

Service is not good, but day by day food Quality is also became poor.never refer to any friend.test is not same.each and every time you will get different test.very poor.they don't respect customer and charging whatever they want.

TASTY FOOD, WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!
1. Extremely poor customer service for past couple of months.
2. Incompetent staff, rude to all customers while taking orders as well as when order is ready
3. I was made to wait for 20 mins for 4 samosas.which I could see are available behind the counter. While my other order of Pav bhaji was ready, the samosas were purchased by other clients. The New Boy who’s been managing for past couple of months bluntly lies that Samosas were not available to begin with, and without apologizing returns me cash for the samosas. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL PERSON.
4. Another instance, when we opened the bag at home, the samosas were missing half portion and were burnt. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
5. Recently they have started thuggin customers by giving half filled chutney with samosas! Seriously? ! Saving in Chutney! How pathetic!
NOW I EVEN DOUBT THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD!

Food is good but they always forget something to put in your take out. Ensure all stuff that have put in your pack.

Guy make rush for sale, with Orders, 2 thing are missing when called they said chatni is not coming with. I don’t recommend this place

Highlights:
- Reasonably priced
- Ample Free Parking space
- Usually Crowded
- The spicy samosa is NOT really spicy, so you can safely go for it.
- They have two types of dhokla, so ask for the khamam which is sweet & sour & watery (the other one is savory & dry)

Visited here on a recommendation and this is a small Gujarati food outlet with hot food counter, Gujarati fresh cooked snacks like Dhokla, Khamam, khandvi, Samosa & Jalebis. They also have packed dry snacks to be served & eaten with tea/coffee.

My love for gujarati food raised the bar so high that I found the food quality alright here. Could be better since its a traditional gujarati place, owned & run by a Gujarati family and I found it alright.

Our visit today was a take out.we picked up kachori lilva and pakora. For 15 kachori we were only give one green and red chutney. This does not make any sense. Very disappointed.

Sandwhich Dhokla - Good
Khamani - Perfect
Samosa - The filling is tasty and spicy unlike other places which is made of potato and chilly flakes
Kathiyawadi Thali- All veggies tasted different and nice. Lasooni aloo had excess oil. Undhiya was good but I have had beter one at Gujarati Sweets.
Kaju Kathri - It was ok not the best item

Overall it is good but expect food to be on the spicy side and some extra oil

We ordered Undhiyu thru Uber eats and asked to put some Muthia and they did not even put a single one. This time I went there place order and asked to please put some Muthia, but when I open the container, there was not even a signal one. Even they packed 2 samosas less and we had o go back to get them.

This is the perfect place for Gujarati food. I have tried a lot of things from here. You will get the best samosa from here. I have tried samosa from lot of place but this is the best place I found for samosa. They have 2 types of samosa. Spicy and medium. They both were perfectly cooked and the filling was so delicious.

Other than samosa, i have tried dalvada, methi gota, khandvi, khaman, thepla, undhiyu puri.

I didn’t like dalwada much. The taste and texture I found bit different from usual dalwada. Methi gota was so good- perfectly cooked (the outer layer was crispy and soft from inside).

Khandvi, thepla and khaman was great.

I would recommend this place. Its worth trying.

Please check your bill and now days they have got more customers so they think they can do whatever they wants.size of dabeli is so small.

We regularly go to shriji for gujarati thali and snacks. We love the food and service is also good.

The food is good.the Gujarati samosas are worth a try. People are friendly n quick to serve. BUT.they have no concept of timings.open.closing.or updating customer's about their re opening plans. Please look in to it guys.

Awesome Gujarati food especially the daal. Must try. The restaurant is not too clean but food was outstanding.

Best Gujrathi Food that you can get. Khandvis, khaman, Paatraas, puran polis, theplas, samosas, thali - roltis, undhyo, khichdi, kadi. Everthing here is super delicious.

Love the food here. I got Fafda and Jalebi today. The best Gujarati you could have in Toronto. Thanks guys for the good food. Keep at it

I had been to this “Taste of India” food festival at Nathan Phillips Square on Aug 5 2019. As i lined up at Shriji’s stall for a vada pav, on reaching counter I got to know they didn’t accept visa or master-card, so i stepped aside to get the cash out of my bag and in the meanwhile ppl behind me started paying and placing their order.

As soon as i got out the cash and handed him for my order, a lady behind [possibly italian] started yelling at me that I was not in line. Where as the owner knew that i had stepped aside for searching cash and i was in line some time back and had placed my order before her.

As she started yelling at me that i am lieing, that i should be calm whereas no words were coming out of my mouth for her loud humiliation. I was feeling crushed n blamed for no reason. I am a quiet and soft person and she belittled me in front of the crowd and owner that i am a lier.

But u know the worst part, the guy at the counter (owner i suppose), Indian, didn’t support his own countrymen, he handed me back my cash, he knew the truth that i had lined up, but our ppl never stand for us, i am not being racist here but he couldn’t even stand for the truth and gave away to a 6 ft loud mouthed dominating white lady.

I felt bad and weeped a lot that my fellow Indian brushed me aside. No matter how tasty is your food I dint knew u guys are so money minded and lack a heart to acknowledge the truth. U know what “ What goes around comes around my friend”. Jaisi karni vaisi bharni.

Our Go-to gujju food junction. Yummy khaman, samosa, dabeli and vada pav. Although sittinh area can be redesigned and made more hospitable. Overall it is great for takeaways and a great place to pick your evening snacks from.

If you're looking for a bloody amazing Kathiyawadi food, this is the place to be. We went there a couple of times when we were in Toronto and now this is the first place that occurs when we are visiting Toronto.
Their Thali is a must try. It has two curries, rice/khichdi, dal/kadhi, farsaan, a sweet and roti/rotla. I love their "Olo" (roasted eggplant). And if you have rotla (Millet flat bread) with it, nothing better can exist. The other snacks are also worth trying.
The seating space limited as most of their orders seems to be takeaways. The service is decently quick. Even if it is slow, the food is definitely worth the wait.
There's plenty of parking outside and it's not crowded ever from what I've witnessed. There's an Indian grocery store one shop away from it, so it's a great place to combine your Indian grocery trip and lunch.

One of the most authentic place i have visited in Canada. Best food with quality and delivery with punctuality. Do try their Lassis, it’s just fantabulous!

Absolutely fantastic Gujarati food.
Ever-so enthusiastic and friendly staff.
Lasaniya bataka and bajara's rotlo is a must.
Their lilwa kachori and petis are enough to make you feel HOME.

It certainly gets your the Gujarati feel you crave for. But not the taste of the region. But their efforts are visible and definitely worth a try!

Good variety of Gujarati snacks, lunch menus, take out. Has a sitting are too, to enjoy desi food. My personal favorites are the variety of dhoklas and samosas.

Amazing Gujju food but service was poor and RUDE. The front desk guy was rude to staff and to customers.

Very tasty Gujarati food We can hardly find authentic pure like homemade GUJARATI food outside of India. It's take lots of hard work and patience to work in kitchen and in the restaurant
