Shulman Weight Loss Clinic

The first time I reached out to Shulman Weight loss clinic was during the pandemic and I lost 25 lbs, my husband and daughter also joined the program and they too lost weight. We learned how to eat better and started a healthy journey. Unfortunately after three years I got sciatica and decided to contact the clinic again and spoke to Dr. Joey to see what can I do to reduce the inflammation and I did the 5 weeks program, she suggested to cut a few things from my diet: Gluten, dairy, sugar, Soy and provided me with a new grocery list. She did not cure me from the sciatica but for sure eating the way she suggested has help me a lot I have more energy and I feel better. I believe by changing the way I was eating, it has also help a bit with the sciatica. Thank you Dr. Joey

Dr Shuman’s program and virtual visits gave me the tools and knowledge I needed to meet my goals and most importantly maintain a permanent change in my life. Although I needed to lose weight my most important goals were to achieve blood sugar and cholesterol balance. A physical following Covid shockingly revealed I was prediabetic and cholesterol numbers all in the severe high risk of heart attack or stroke. I joined Dr. Shulman’s program because I wanted to get my numbers safely under control through diet and exercise without going on medication. After 3 months I had lost 20lbs, lowered my blood sugar to the normal range and lowered all of my cholesterol numbers. Almost all are back into the normal range with a couple remaining slightly above normal. An enormous achievement. I will continue on the regular program till all my numbers are within normal range and then continue with the maintenance program. Throughout the program I was supported with continuous positive reinforcement from all the staff but especially Nicole, Dr. Joey and the always accommodating front desk staff. I now have a lifestyle I can maintain and enjoy at home and going out. Thankyou!
