Wow, supper cute small place! Food was really good, amazing flavours and freshness.
Service was great, always filling your glass checking to make sure everything is good.
Atmosphere small but cute. Lighting is dim which it nice. For the most part it’s great, only down side to it but not worth taking a star away is because of it being long and narrow seating people who talk loud carry well in it.

My own opinion I would give it maple stars! Looking forward for the next meal I have there.

Don't go here if you're looking for authentic thai cuisine. I'd say 95% of the customers are white and the other 5% are asians that got fooled. The food is okay if you look at it objectively but if you want actual thai food this is not the place.

They don't even have chopsticks on location, no chilli sauce, no extra peanuts. It was pretty loud in there too. You'd get the same type of experience if you just went to thai express except thai express is cheaper and at least they have chopsticks.

Excellent restaurant where you can eat Thai's spicy food. Highly recommend to try this restaurant out. Parking is a little bit tricky on the weekend.

The potato and chicken is amazing. The staff is so friendly.

Good Pad Thai and mango salad. Large portions and fresh tasting food. Staff was friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere, though the small size of the place can make it seem a bit loud when there's a alot of folks talking at once.

First time since Covid.nicely renovated.

Stirfry basil shrimp with rice was too sweet as usual. Previously asked the waitress to tell chef to make it less sweet but was told that's the chef's style and many customers ask for the same but the chef sticks to his usual way of cooking.

Coconut spicy soup with shrimps was wonderful.

Chicken pad thai (lunch) was surprisingly filling.wonder what kind of oil they used.

The lunchtime waitress was impolite and blunt which made the lunch experience less pleasant.

Both stir fried dishes and noodles are too sweet. Asked a waitress to convey to their chef to make the dishes less sweet, but was told the chef does not really listen.

They make the best pad Thai in Ottawa. They have really good Thai dishes, there’s lot of options on the menu and everything I’ve had so far was delicious. The only downside is they can be quite busy sometimes and you can’t hear yourself talking.

A celiac’s dream menu, clearly labeled GF on most options.
Started with the Tom Yum Goong soup, followed by the Chef’s Special menu of Gang Kour Sapparot and Gai Pad Prik Hang.
Everything was fresh and flavourful.
Service was attentive. The dining space is simple and clean.
Looking forward to returning.

Excellent Thai food with the hospitality to match. Most of us are from across Canada as group of 30 people with dietary considerations. Siam Bistro owner and staff went out of their way to please us and our last minute ordering and changes in numbers attending. And the food was still right on excellent. Highly Recommend and the 'hip go to' place in Ottawa'.

Wonderful service, tasty large portion of Thai food at the reasonable price, highly recommended.

I have to say that the food is really good.
Most of the staff are kind and respectful.
The senior Thai lady she might be the owner or the manager, she is an extremely rude person and very disrespectful attitude.
The service was slow a bit. The moment we finished our meal, we found the receipt on the table asking us to pay and leave. After we had paid, she became another person, she saw us and started to mumble in Thai language and looked at us without even saying thanks for coming, see u again, whatever.

The lady should learn from this review and the other many reviews that share with me the same thoughts before it's already too late to bring the good reviews back.

The food was great and I loved the different spice levels - they helped everyone get exactly what they were looking for.

Je suis passèe aujourd'hui voir le menu on venait de manger juste a cote et on a été attiré par la belle decoration du restaurant. Mon mari est rentré en premier et je tenais la porte car ma fille de 3 ans etait devant la porte.
La dame a l'acceuil m'a expliqué qu il faut pas sarreter devant la porte (alors que ça ne fait que 10 secondes que j etais labas)
D'une facon arrogante que moi et mon mari on a pas aimé du tout.
Je pense qu'une personne à l accueil doit se comporter et parler aux gend mieux que ça! Elle a tout simplement gaché le travail fait derriere par les proprio et la belle deco qui attire les gens!

Best pad thai I've had in Ottawa so far (and I've tried many! Blows Social Thai and Nana Thai out of the water, which were my previous favourites). Spring rolls were ridiculously good. Service is good. Only negative is that this is a very popular restaurant and therefore very busy and loud - hard to understand your dining partner when they talk. I would stick to take out if you've got hearing issues.

One of my favorite restaurants in Ottawa. Always make a reservation, and you won't be disappointed! Everything is delicious. Prices are a little high, but worth it for the quality.
