When I first moved to Ottawa, I had two friends that lived in Kanata and the other in Orleans. Neither knew the other but they sure did know their barber. Dino Dawes! I went to Dino. I asked for a jellyfish cut at this place with Dj, and even though the style is a little out there/unusual, he did wonderfully! It looks just like the picture I showed and I love it so much. The atmosphere was nice and calming and Dj was super friendly and easy to talk to:) highly recommend

Anyone wanting to get an amazing haircut and friendly service, this is the place. It was my first visit and have to say, was pleasantly surprised by how friendly both DJ and Dino are. They are super welcoming and skilled. I absolutely loved the haircut and they were kind enough to squeeze in time for my hair color as well even though they were fully booked and did the job thoroughly. Thank you once again DJ and Dino for such a wonderful experience and my gorgeous haircut.

Went for beard shaping and got the best beard shape. They also applied beard growth oil after shaping. One of the best beard shaping salon in Ottawa. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience! I have very curly and Puffy hair and it is really really hard to find someone who actually knows what they are doing when cutting such hair but Dino is so knowledgeable and passionate about hairdressing, he made it such a lovely experience. He was able to help me figure out what I wanted as I went in with a little bit of an idea but I heavily relied on his expert opinion and I came out with a haircut that I am absolutely in love with! I hadn't cut my hair in 8 years before now. I usually hate having short hair but Dino cut and styled my hair, now it's shoulder length and I LOVE how beautiful it looks! Getting compliments daily and my hair has never be healthier! (I only have pictures of when he straightened it to point cut it but still gorgeous)

When it comes to precision, style and finishing. I haven’t found anybody better than Dino. He has a fine finish and a very warm personality. Great human along with greater skill sets.

Dino and DJ are awesome. I usually see Dino and he is always great, and the last time I saw him I needed my whole head redyed to my natural colour after some box dye had grown out, and he did it beautifully - I never even noticed that it must’ve grown out by now. I am a tall woman and I have long hair, so I know he gets an arm workout when I am in the chair but he takes his time to do it right and I really appreciate it. I feel refreshed every time I leave.

I also usually book my next appointment immediately following my cut, but I guess I forgot to last time and so when I came in inquiring about my next one and found out I didn’t have one scheduled during December right before some important work meetings, DJ graciously fit me in that week and did a great job with the trim. I was also super stressed and he calmed me right down with a head massage I didn’t even know I needed while getting my hair washed.

The salon is clean, both Dino and DJ are a joy to speak with while they work their magic, and the price point can’t be beat for women’s hair.

Went here for the first time a few days ago and got my hair cut by DJ. He did a great job! Great haircut and very good customer service. He also gave my hair a wash and my head a massage after the cut! And all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back for my next cut!

Wow. I got highlights and layers by Dino and I’ve never loved my hair as much! Not only did he over overdid himself on my hair, he also took the time to explain what was going on as my last experience at a salon I was ripped off. Not sure of Dino or Picasso, fade and beard trim master, always fun conversations and sometimes even educational, 30 min drive from home but worth every second! Best of the best

Absolutely amazing experience, totally recommend to everyone!
Had been a year since I’ve had my hair done. Dino was very easy to talk too and makes you feel 100% comfortable. He makes your hair cut uniquely yours and is very clearly knowledgeable/passionate (and super talented) about what he does.
The salon itself is gorgeous, and the prices are extremely fair and affordable.
Will definitely be returning, this is my new favourite hair place!

During my first visit, Dino automatically made me feel comfortable. He was on-time, friendly and professional. During the pandemic, my hair had been cut by several people - Dino fixed the uneven shape and added layers. It looks and feel much better now. The salon itself was very clean (newly renovated) and the AC was a nice touch on a HOT day. I will be back!
