Sidra Shawarma & Kabob

Came here for the first time tonight.

Food was pleasant with nice flavours and decent portion. I like how it was packed very nicely and with care. The salad was packed separately unlike other restaurants where they just slap the salad in the same container directly beside (sometimes on top) of the hot food and when you get home to eat it, it’s become all soggy and warm.

The chicken was of good quality and flavoured nicely. At other Shawarma restaurants lately I have been getting bone fragments, cartilage and fatty bits in my chicken, this was not the case here, it was perfect.

The rice was nice and light and over all the whole meal felt light and was very filling. Good experience.

The food is right, good price and fantastic customer care. At SIDRA, they care about you and what you eat and that's why the foods are made by the master chef himself.
I recommend them any day. The right place to end your evening.

Not worth the money. They charge 18$ for falafel bowl which just contains 4 falafels and little rice. Compete scam.

My partner and I moved by fourth line a year ago, and we always mentioned wanting to try Sidra’s. On an off day my partner decided to get it and told me I NEEDED to try it because it was the best shawarma he’s ever had. A week later I was in charge of dinner and I brought sidra’s. I even messed up ordering my partners shawarma wrap and he still ate every single bite. It has such great flavour and the chicken it’s melt in your mouth good. It was so juicy yet so much smokiness. Definitely my go to for shawarmas from now on. Very excited to try everything else!

One of the best places I’ve been to in a while. The gentlemen up front was very kind and took his time describing the daily special dish. Food was made fresh to order and you can really taste all the flavours and love that goes into the dishes they prepare! 10/10 would recommend

Chicken shawarma biryani rice dinner is the absolute best shawarma dinner platter around. We live 12km away, in a different city and have to say Sidra is the best in Halton. Very kind owners, amazing quality food and great sized portions.

Solid shawarma wraps, can customize as needed. Good chunky size wrap. Owner is jolly and nice and gives extra sides on the house. Cool casual old style diner atmosphere, medium size place.

Food was delicious and decently priced. The owner, Gus, was very friendly and provided superb customer service.

Definitely worth visiting for anyone in oakville or just passing through as it is right off the QEW.

This place serves the best Shawarma in town beating the chains hands down.

Best Kebabs Kofta a perfect combination of beef and lamb. Portion is generous my boyfriend and I shared it. They have imported beer you must try and their Turkish Coffee is perfect that it calms your stomach after a nice meal. I like the food that even before finishing our food I already know what to order next visit, Lamb Shank. We even had a chat with the owner and he recommended to try Lamb Shank too.

Gus is a professional and his staff is fantastic! My customers love the delicious lunches catered by Sidra and it has become my go to spot!

Really really tasty food, friendly and attentive service, and very clean inside. I also felt the prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food is A+. We will definitely be back sometime soon:)

**EDIT To the reply from the business owner: The menu was not labelled as takeout only, nor did you explain anything about the dining room being reserved past 4 p.m. What's more, it was 3: 22 p.m. On a Saturday when we placed the order, well before your abitrary 4 p.m. Cutoff, and the place didn't have a soul in it. You could have been much more accomodating. The food is only as good as the experience/service; I won't be coming back.

Food: The chicken shawarma was *okay* but not worth going out of your way for. Salad was awful, get either the rice or the fries. Still on the hunt to find something resembling the quality of Windsor's Shawarma Palace. Man I miss that place.

Service: Maybe caught the owner on a grumpy day, but he made a big deal out of us ordering the advertised shawarma off the counter menu and not wanting to pay more for eating in at the empty restaurant. We ended up taking our combos to a nearby McDonald's, buying coffees, and eating there instead.

Excellent food, we often order takeout here. The roasted potatoes and chicken shawarma are particularly good!
