A fantastic experience with a patient lady. After last year's debacle at another place it was a relief not to he rushed and she sent off the forms for me too. And today, less than 3 weeks later I HAVE MY REFUND. It was exact, right down to the penny. This will be my permanent tax office from now on. In the heart of Bronte Village on Lakeshore. I went to see her last year. She had another client at the time of my appointment, I had to wait, then leave and come back again because this client had to come back. I didn’t mind at the time because this lady seemed stressed. I was in the same boat because I needed my taxes for something and was unsure of how to go about a few things. But then she rushed me and didn’t ask all the right questions. I went to her because I had questions and was really confused about how to do my specific taxes, so at one point I remembered something she hadn’t asked, I remembered I was asked in the online tax apps. When I went to pay she charged me twice the rate because she said she had to go change the form, but I didn’t even know she had submitted it! I thought she was still going thru it with me. She wasn’t getting emails that day either so it was hard to get things done properly since she needed me to email her any documents I didn’t have in paper. I had an excel sheet with everything but she couldn’t see it. So after a while of not being able to receive anything and me trying from 2 different email address she just looked at them from my phone and authorized herself as my representative. She was supposed to send me a form I needed to send to the government but she wouldn’t reply to my emails. I had to call her, then again the next day since she said she needed to be in her computer to read my email. There was something missing, I corrected it, sent it again, never heard back from her. I called her, she was out and wanted me to call her again. I tried a few times since but no answer. I submitted the form myself yesterday. I hope I did it right. I will never go to her again. I do not recommend her.

Like everyone else who wrote a review, I am totally impressed with Nancy's tax knowledge and expertise. I had a tax problem relating to RRSP over-contributions that were lingering for several years which several H&R Block "tax experts" could not handle. I just had to give Nancy my tax returns for the years in question and she did her magic. I just got my $10K+ return back from the CRA and I couldn't be happier that this was finally resolved. Approached Nancy based on very positive online reviews at the 11th hour to do an estate tax return (2 actually). I queried her on some of my key concerns/questions with such a return and she clearly knew the issues and pitfalls very well. Price increased from initial "ballpark estimate" but Nancy did say she needed to see the detailed information before arriving at a final price. In the end, we agreed, and exceeded my expectations in terms of timeliness and quality of the returns. Would recommend her to others without hesitation.
