Signa has been providing us with in-home on-site computer assistance since 2007, our experience with them has always been amazing. We're particularly impressed with the new technician, Michael, a real breath of fresh air. It's nice to get help evenings and weekends, too. I recently purchased a computer from Signa and am very happy with the results! The nice thing is that they can tailor your build to match your needs. Greg was great in reviewing the components I was considering, pointing out what he thought was a good match for me, and suggesting that others were not really necessary. I picked up my computer in person and was pleased to say hello to Jack who I dealt with several years ago on a previous purchase; he was very helpful in getting back to me with answers to some technical questions I had as I was setting up my new rig. I would highly recommend this store for professional, helpful and very friendly service! They know computers, don't over sell and offer custom builds at reasonable prices. I recently purchased a gaming PC built by Jack from Signa. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

It's been a while since I got a new PC (more than 10 years), so I've been out of touch with what's new/available. Their website is easy to use, with just enough options for customization, but it doesn't leave you overwhelmed with choices. I needed some advice on certain combinations, so I decided to give Signa a call. That's when I got in touch with Jack. He was super patient with my questions and offered advice on what made the most sense to spend money on, and areas I can save. Then I proceeded to place the order through the website and I opted for delivery by hand. Jack mentioned that it may take a few days to get all the parts to have it built.

Then I received a call two days later from Jack. He mentioned that the case I wanted wasn't in stock, but he can use an upgraded case, free of charge, to build the PC for me, and asked if I was OK with it. I gave him the OK and he said that he would deliver the PC the next day. Then later that day, Jack said he was available that evening to bring the PC by, so it was a pleasant surprise. Not only was the PC ready earlier than expected, but Jack was super punctual with the delivery.

Fast forward about a week. I received a text from Chen asking if I needed any help with a computer order. This was probably me trying to do certain configurations on their website, but left something in the cart or something. I let Chen know that I had already purchased something from them and was happy with my new PC. Then I was told that I could reach out any time if there are any issues with anything, and they would be happy to help.

This is the difference between a small business that takes the time and effort to provide the best service to their customers, vs.those big box stores (ahem, Canada Computers) that leave their customers hanging when something goes wrong. Not only that, Signa's pricing is SUPER competitive. I will definitely come back to Signa for my future computer needs. I highly recommend Signa if you are looking to build a PC.

I found Signa through a web search when I was looking for a new Linux desktop. The specs of their available builds included only NVIDIA graphics cards, but I wanted an AMD card. I sent them a quick note asking if they might consider this substitution. Within three days, I had a new Signa desktop with an AMD graphics card sitting in my office. They had even agreed to install my preferred Linux distro. Connected to wireless without issues, printer and scanner working well. Was I dreaming?

I have come to Signa Computers many times over the past few years and have found that they are exactly what most computer users want in a computer shop: friendly, clear, and knowledgeable advice; a hard working attitude; professionalism; a wide as well as an in-depth range of knowledge of computers and their peripherals; and an ability to provide exactly what I need in short order, even if it is not currently in stock. And the prices are quite reasonable!
They turned a long-standing audio problem on our desktop PC into an awesome solution for $50 and a few minutes time, when I had asked dozens of "professionals" what the problem was (they were all wrong, Greg got it right immediately).
They solved my specific printer needs in a matter of minutes and I had been asking in various other locations for more than a month and getting unclear and unsatisfactory answers. And today, they took what looked to me like a monster virus had slipped past my antivirus; discovered that it was an application error, not a virus; and solved it, within less than 24 hours with their available rush service. These are my go-to guys for any computer problem that I have. The best part is, if I were to present them with a problem they could not solve, they would have the integrity to say so immediately and find someone else who could. Thanks, Signa! Bought a custom made PC built to my specs back in 2012 it has been over 10 years and I am still using my PC they built. I have made a Graphics card upgrade from a 580 Nvidia GTX to a 970 GTX and replaced the stock cpu cooler on it, added a SSD with a network card and I can still play modern games on it in 1080p at 60 frames (Elden Ring is fantastic). The original hardware I got with it while is capped out still works and I have been smoking cigarettes around the machine for 10 years, it is insane it still works, Goes to show the quality of parts and build that can keep a machine running for years to come. Under perfect conditions my PSU should have crapped out by now but is still giving. The company called me on a few occasions to ask me about my PC over the years (First 4 years) and I have said I have zero issues and things are going well. To be quite honest I am unsure how this company is still alive because the quality of product given is so good it is hard to see how they can make any money with repairs and parts.

Getting s new workstation me was a long time coming, and took a lot of saving and research. I am so happy that I ended working with Signa Computer Systems. The team made it so easy to adjust the workstation to suit my needs. Jack did an amazing job, and was honest in his feedback. I did not feel like I'm being upsold for no reason. He made me a workstation suited to my specific industry. The result is a machine that is so powerful, quiet, and just plainly beautiful, that am still in shock. The benchmark tests I ran ended up off the rails incredible. I am set for for many years to come. My deepest gratitude for all your hard work.

Buying a custom pc for the first time was so easy. Shoutout to Jack, Chen, and Greg for being such amazing people throughout the entire process, giving me advice, and asking all my questions. I got my PC today and I have no pressing issues with it other than the wifi being a bit wonky, but I'm sure I can give them a call and they'll help me fix it.

Edit: They gave me a call and I just forgot to install the antennas. Wifi is working perfectly now!

If you're looking to get your first pc build, I highly recommend them especially because you can pay via etransfer and get a free rush order.

Ron and I have been Signa customers since 2005 and are very happy with the service that they provide. Just this morning, I called them saying that I had an issue with my Zoom audio, and left them a message. By the time I I followed up with an email, their technician Jason was on my door step - now that is prompt service! Over the years Jason and other Signa techs have been consistently knowledgeable problem-solvers and good communicators. We'd recommend Signa to anyone needing a home computer or setup or service. Wow, are these folks the BEST or what? ! I was able to convey my needs to Signa and within minutes they reached out to me with hardware suggestions that would fit my needs. They were able to stick within my budget framework and deliver me a beautiful custom machine in just over 24 hours! I can't recommend these fine folks enough. Will definitely work with them again for all my hardware needs. I just took in two machines and asked them to Frankenstein together the ultimate machine and I was not disappointed. Signa turned it around in a timely manner and it's running like a charm. Incredible! I'm not a client, but the team specializes in my system brands. On CANADA DAY they responded late at night to inform me on status of service. That meant everything to me for planning to get my system operational.

Sometimes a simple email can guide and direct a client and the team did that for me without a dime passing hands. Oh yes, intangible benefits for me and the team there as I'll be heading their way with my clients for service when needed due to the follow-up and client care. Many would agree in IT service is t always top tier, here, seems to be status quo and I admire that.

Go with confidence, these are decent and focused business people and I'd urge you to give them a try!

Had a laptop failure at an absolutely critical time - reached out to Signa, and they got me a top notch high end HP replacement, installed Windows 10 PRO upgrade on it for me, and I picked it up within 90 minutes of confirming the order. In a pandemic. Seriously impressive- and seriously appreciated. Out of curiosity- I went looking to see if I could find a review that was less than 5 stars - and in a search going back 5 years I found hundreds of 5 star reviews - and 1 - a single one - where the guy was apparently annoyed because he couldn't get access to the store in the midst of pandemic lockdown #1. Pretty sure I view that as a positive - not a negative.

I contacted this establishment to see if they possibly had a refurbished laptop computer that I could purchase. Unfortunately they only had one laptop in the entire store which didn't fit my needs and as such would not warrant me visiting them. When I inquired why they told me that their supplier was unable to deliver product to them because of the covid lockdown. Therefore I'm not really in a position to judge this establishment based on what I've experienced.

Having dealt with Signa in putting together a custom built configuration desktop, and just recently a new laptop, I can say with absolute conviction this is the ONLY computer store to consider when you need any computer system. What a great company! They are responsive to the customer.   I modified my order a full 24 hours after I had placed the order.   They adapted to the change without blinking an eye, and they completed the order early, even with the change!   They have answered all my questions.   They include a nice product overview sheet, that helps if you have any questions upon setting up your computer.   Very fast with email responses and phone call follow ups.   I would definitely shop here again. And a free high quality mouse pad, very nice touch! A shout out to the crew: Greg, Chen and Jack are AWESOME to work with and all very helpful!

This past Sunday, in the middle of the Family Day long weekend I discovered that the power on my desktop computer wasn’t working. As a result, I called Signa Computers and left a message for someone to call me to schedule an appointment for a technician to come to my home to diagnose the problem. Considering it was a long weekend I didn’t expect to receive a call until Tuesday. However, to my pleasant surprise Jack called me back within 30 minutes of leaving a message. We discussed my situation and based on the age of my computer, decided that rather than attempting to fix my old computer, it was time for a new one. As a result, we scheduled an appointment for a technician to come to my home on Tuesday evening to install my new computer.

Shortly after hanging up, Jack called me back to advise that his technician was actually on another call this Valentine’s Day afternoon, and advised that if I wanted, his technician could drop by within the next couple of hours to install my new computer. However, prior to doing so, Jack advised that he would have to go into the store to configure my new computer so that the technician could pick it up prior to coming to my home. As a luck would have it I had no plans so Jack advised that he would go into the store, configure my new computer, and that the technician would arrive at my home later in the afternoon.

Within two hours, Signa’s technician Nick, arrived with my new computer. Nick was the consummate professional as he patiently took the time to explain various aspects of my new desktop and copied the files from my old computer to my new one. I was very impressed by Nick’s knowledge and ability to explain various technical issues to me all in layman’s terms. When he left my home that evening, I had a new computer installed …… all within 5 hours of my original call to Signa.

This was not the first time that I’ve reached out to Signa Computers as I have purchased computers from them in the past, and I can assure you it won’t be the last. Professional, knowledgeable staff, both in store and on-site with service that is second to none! Thanks to Jack and Nick, my computer “issues” were resolved within 5 hours on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of a long weekend. Now that’s service!

Fantastic customer service. Full disclosure, I have used Signa in the past, but moved out of the area, searched locally, but didn't have but confidence in going anywhere else. I remembered the customer experience from a number of years ago, and it is just as fantastic now.

The best place to buy a pc or any products from. Top notch service with the friendliest staff and fastest service. My communication and interactions with Greg and Jack were better than any communications I’ve ever had trying to seek help from a big electronics store like Bestbuy. I contacted Signa for help building a new computer. I ended up buying one of their custom pre-builds. Jack spent about an hour via live chat helping me decide which specs I needed for my new gamin pc. I bought my computer and 2 days later it was hand delivered by Chen and Greg!

I can't say enough about their fantastic customer service. Everyone was super friendly and extremely helpful. I will definitely be contacting Signa for all my computer related queries in the future.

I've been super happy with the product quality and service I've gotten from Signa. They sold me a demo PC build for a great price that has worked extremely well. The customer service is unbeatable. Within seconds of calling them I am put on to one of there knowledgeable staff members. Forget BestBuy, Amazon or Staples, go to Signa because chances are they have better deals and their customer service is significantly better. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

Who would have ever thought that getting a new desktop would make your face ache from not being able to stop smiling at the warmth, responsiveness and professionalism from the team at Signa computers?

I simply needed to replace my imac which failed to operate well as it is a 2015 entry model; a great machine that kept me happy for a few years but started to sadly lag as the years passed by. While some of my colleagues suggested for me to build my own desktop, I decided after some research to give Signa Computer Systems a call.

Greg Stapells, one of the founding team members, spoke to me and thoughtfully emailed me the best options for a gaming desktop. Greg came across as warm, professional, and knew his team could build and deliver the best desktop I could ever hope for. It is also worth noting that Chen Stapells, customer service manager for Signa, suggested that I could make a deposit to lock in the price of the unit and submit the rest in a few days which proved to be quite an effective payment plan as I did have all the money but hesitated to spend it all at once.

Within 3 days, before the unit was ready to ship, Greg emailed me to make sure that I did not miss any other form of hardware such as a webcam or desktop speakers of which I did not require. Never before have I been treated with such courtesy and care when purchasing a desktop!

On a final note, Jason, a member of the technical support team from Signa, delivered the unit and helped me set it up along with cleaning out the imac and demonstrated a great sense of humor while showing up at my residence in a timely manner. Jason was also sympathetic to my concerns regarding the windows desktop vs apple system. As a result, I have a great desktop that I will enjoy for several years and know that I can always count on Greg, Chen, Jason and Jack to help me with any questions or concerns that I might have. Highly recommended and worth 10 stars as I feel this review is an understatement of what Signa Computer Systems can accomplish for their customers.

Straight from the start I had an amazing experience when I first bought my main work computer from them, recently ran into a minor issue with it not booting, called them up immediately and without hesitation they had me booked in to drop it off to figure out what I did to it. I was expecting a next day reply but had gotten back to me within 2 hours of dropping it off explaining what went wrong and the steps they took to fix it and asking when it would be most convenient to come put it up (all under warranty, didn't have to spend anything). I can't speak highly enough of the people that work there and the service they provide, and even though I'm located over an hour away from their store I refuse to take my business anywhere else.

I bought a gaming PC at Signa Computers, they built it in literally a day. Very fast services, quick at responding to emails and support. Overall my gaming computer is running flawlessly. Not only were the services and responses fast, the staff member that were in charge of my order was extremely friendly and made me feel welcome even though I am a young buyer. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who are planning on getting a gaming pc!

I was looking for a relatively high-end PC and Signa was able to help me out about as quick as I could have hoped for. I shopped around a bit but it seemed like the only reasonable option other than Signa was building a PC myself, which I wasn't really interested in doing, so I am quite happy that this all worked out so well. I walked into the store on Yonge st.and within a few days I had exactly what I wanted with no headaches or problems.

The staff are very reasonable and friendly people who will give you the kind of personal service and attention that a large corporation like Dell or Apple is unable to offer. It was a nice change to be dealing with human beings in my city rather than ordering a PC online or speaking to someone in a call-center half way across the world.

In a few years I hope to be able to buy another PC from them.

Seriously, Signa is fantastic.

I confess in some recent weeks I have had some frankly horrible customer service experiences with some unrelated services that really show the contrast of just how outside the norm Signa is in dealing with their customers.

I worked with them this week on a custom build and things came together very easily with rapid response times despite a few quirky requests on my end. I was taken aback with the speed at which I got the notification "Hey your computer is ready! "

It would be very difficult to do a better job and it's why I keep coming back to them as a customer.

I wanted to get a high end custom built PC, but I don't really have the expertise to know how to do it and which parts to look for.

Signa took care of it for me, it barely cost more than buying the parts and doing it myself and was much quicker and easier. They were responsive, helpful and extremely easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

The key things he did where to create a mesh network so I had stronger wifi throughout and he configured back up to an external disc for 2 laptops. He was also able to remote in on a couple of later occasions to sort out some other network related issues. Overall great service!
