Silver Spoon Mississauga

We've been enjoying Silver Spoon's take-out food for several years! Fish pakora, bhagare baigan, channa masala, okra, tandoori chicken, etc.etc. - and of course, Biryani- are ALL authentic and a must-try! My kids love the Butter Chicken and that's the only Butter Chicken they would eat!:) I'd say more people from other ethnic groups should be encouraged to try Silver Spoon's delicious and reasonably-priced food.it's really hard to stop coming back for more! This is coming from a health-freak Mom who loves to prepare healthy, home-cooked meals!

We regularly do takeout from here. Especially love the veal biryani, nihari and the chicken lollipops. Reasonable prices and good portion size. And a big shout out to Rajveer who made sure we get our veal biryanis that are available only on the weekend. She is very customer friendly and an asset.

I visited last week, food was amazing and Anu was really nice and helped a lot to get delicious food. She was very professional.

Nice food, good tasting meals and lots of options, good pricing as well. Manager is very nice at hearland location, Gave me a cup of tea complimentary, I bought lots of food from the silver spoon. I recommend it to my friends as well.

I ordered samosa when I received that one I surprised too see the package because the size of samosa is toooooo big I invite my 5 friends too finish that one.

I bought biryani, fish and lollipops chicken. They failed to produce same quality and taste biryani. It was used to very good.

Worst experience ever. We ordered a platinum package for 25 people got food for 12, and owner Mansour plus staff refused to give us the other half order. They actually said that it was enough food for 25 people and refused to budge. Please don't buy yourself. We ordered food for a maklava and were embarrassed. I give owners daughters badua that they get divorced or never married. If no daughters then other girls in their family.

People who don’t bother about their health and only think about money will buy here. Poor taste and quality.

This restaurant is a good take out place to visit when u r new in canada and want variety of cooked food, also when u r missing ur des / country, this whole area including restaurant is good for munching and take outs during those home-sickness days. Their variety of food helped us during our airbnb days.

The restaurant offer biryani in three spice level, mild medium and spicy, also their haleem and kababs are good.

Quantity is more than enough in one serving. Small bowl is for one person whereas container is for 2-3 ppl ; depends on person (s) ‘ appetite. (For us small bowl of gravy is enough for 2 and container is for 4)
Samosas were crispy too.

There is no sitting place as it is a take out restaurant.

Felt like they had given us stale food. We’ve traveled all over North America and this has been the worst Indian food we’ve tasted. Had to throw away everything from curries to biryani. The only edible thing was samosas. Not recommended at all.

Restaurants confirm orders before making it and sending it out to the drivers. They confirmed my order of 6 items, sent it with the driver and I only received 2 out of 6. When I called the driver, they said the restaurant gave her only 2 items. I called the restaurant and they said they ran out of those items. My money was gone and I had to contact uber help services to get my money back. They should have confirmed the order before taking the money.

I tried their biryani but I found it to be like homemade biryani, not the Karachi biryani that one expects. I feel, my need to find Karachi style biryani in Toronto is far fetched

Why your garlic naans are so bad and soggy?
Moreover garlic naans does not have any flavour of garlic.

I ordered daal but got channa masala. Wow, I think it’s hard to understand the difference.
I ordered beef niharii but got lamb instead.
Please make sure you are packing the right thing.

Last night I was served by Erum who was amazing and provided excellent service with a smile and helped me save my Thanksgiving lunch for today! Thanks Erum and Silver Spoon:)

Where do I even begin with this place. I ordered the meal for 2 and instantly I could tell they just re heated the previous night's food that didn't sell and put it out the next day. The food was stale. The lamb karahi had a very bitter taste to it. The chicken biriyani was a disaster. Do these ppl think they can cut corners by selling trash food in so their bottom line doesn't get affected? With hundreds of other Middle Eastern cuisine I will never go back to Silverspoon. They don't even have basic decent customer service skills. 0 across the entire board. So disappointed I lost my hard earned money because I threw away all the food after 1 or 2 bites.

The briyani taste was good few months ago but nowadays it is a total waste of money to eat plain coloured rice. We order spicy briyani since there will be more masala in it but now we’ve decided never to go here again. I guess they are trying to earn money by increasing the prices recently too and cheating customers giving plain rice with colour.

Seems like a popular joint, service was great, food was prepared pretty quick. Shout out to the girl that gave us free bags and raita

Good food (must try the extra spicy biryani). Good prices. Great staff (to you Nida and Mehr and everyone there). Staff is very pleasant and gret at keeping the line moving fast (kudos to the chefs).

I was a regular customer until today, where the sister behind the counter kicked us out for being above 10, I entered the store because my 2 kids were freezing and the weather outside is -3 and it was my turn!

I understand they want to apply rules, but she ordered me rudely. I would’ve appreciate it if she asked me politely or even better if she have considered that my kids are freezing after waiting in line for too long out side.

I honestly don’t like to give businesses bad reviews as I want to other what I want to myself, but my experience today, with my kids, was not pleasant at all.

I taught my kids today, that being respected is more important than being full.

Nidha was too helpful. Amazing service with amazing food as always. I have alsways preferened coming to rthos location bocause of the amazing taste and service despite being always busy.

No "CHICKEN", absolutely NADA, and no vegetables in CHICKEN ChowMein. I paid hear 6.49$ for 50 cents of noodles.
Attitude of female servers is pathetic.
Biryani, the way they give it out, is also so bad, they don't want to hear what kind of biryani I want to order, just dish out. Never going again. I value my money more than their third class attitude and practices.

Nihari was great! There were a lot of options, was not sure which item to pick, especially as a visitor. They did give us a sample or two before we made a purchase.

Sindhi biryani was good, loved the chicken patties. Fish pakoras were good. Beef kabab was ok. Bonleless chicken karai was tasty, but there was a lot of fat on the meat. Naan was soft and yummy.

The two items that I would not try again was the mixed vegetable [lacking taste] and the chow mein [also lacking flavor even though she had packed it really well].

It is a busy place and its hard to hear the worker serving the food. I felt rushed to make a decision. Overall, great experience

Worst experience ever. I had ordered a karahi chicken, palak ghost and veg curry, all of them was so sour and oily, couldn’t even eat any of them. Also ordered garlic naan which turned out to be so hard and thick. I would never go back to this restaurant again. No taste for food.

This is the best place to have Pakistani food at affordable prices. Their spicy chicken biryani is the best. The spices are well balanced and gives you the authentic taste. I have been to this place many times and is the first choice if i want good flavourful food. I often visit this place after work and they never say NO as sometimes i got late and they were preparing for closing. The staff is very friendly specially the lady whom i met 2-3 times while picking food while they are closing. I will highly recommend this place to everyone. Must try once. And don’t forget to try their “Sooji Halva”. You won’t get it anywhere else.

Their fish pakora and chicken lollipop along with biryani are the best in GTA. Highly recommend them. There might be a wait but it's worth it.

Just got Chana Puri Nashta…. Staff of young girls could not handle the orders besides the portion of food that they gave was almost half then actually provided earlier… Though they open at 11;00 for Saturday Nashta, nothing was ready and had to wait additionally 20 minutes… Their Puri is now like a deep fried chapatis, not at all crispy…. Their quantity and quality has deteriorate… Friday Naan offering has vanished, Biryani quantity on Tuesdays and reduced…. As the saying is everything ends…. Fannah…. Their ends seems eminent, unless they pay attention and improve…

The staffs were rude especially one girl I don't know her name I ordered fish pakora and while measuring the pakora she just throwed in on the scale if was not late night I would have not purchased anything does not know service at all this was my first visit and the experience was very bad and even during busines hours one of the staff was sitting and eating I even have taken pictures of that staff eating.

Been here twice now to give it a chance. Food was okay both times. No chutney given with Biryani yesterday. Biryani could have been much better.

It was +40 with the humidex yesterday and the restaurant's doors were wide open. It was even hotter inside the restaurant. Tells me that owner does not care about comfort of employees or customers over saving a few dollars.

There were flies flying around because doors were open, gross.

Absolutely amazing food; my husband I drive up from London for their chicken biryani. Irfan was extremely helpful and took time out of his day to specially make us the biryani when the location was out of biryani- great staff and wonderful customer service!

There’s like 20 people working yet no ones there to take orders. The lady did such a messy job putting the curry together it was falling all out of the containers such a sloppy service

We ordered chicken biryani and fried fish. The fish was good and the biryani was ok. I cook more tastier biryani at home than this one. Tasteless food to eat.

This restaurant was really good before I used to tell everyone about silver spoon restaurant, but now Honestly this Restaurant turn Into garbage restaurant they give you (Bassi khana) food is not fresh

Severely disappointed with recent experience trying to place an order for catering for my son’s birthday. Giving two stars because past experiences with this location/franchise
have been fine/satisfactory but I will be avoiding ordering or doing takeout from here in the future.
I had called a week ago and spoke to the evening manager about catering halwa puri for an event on the 21st and she mentioned that this could be done as their 7-item package for $7.99 which would include whatever comes with halwa puri breakfasts. I checked the website online and the price for this package was $8.99 but I figured that’s fine, maybe she got the price mixed up but it’s not far off. I asked if I could place the order and she recommended calling back two days prior to the event.
This past weekend, I decided to call them earlier to see if they would take my order, and this time I got the morning manager who told me the price for the halwa puri package had gone up to $10-11 pp. I told her I’d gotten a cheaper number only a week prior and she just said that the prices had changed and there’s nothing she could do about that. I argued that I had wanted to place the order last week when I first called and the evening manager had told me that I just needed to call two days in advance. I explained what an inconvenience this would’ve been if I actually waited till Wednesday or Thursday this week to put the order through. Even after going back and forth with the evening manager, the morning manager didn’t budge, wouldn’t honour the $7.99 price or even try to meet me halfway. She even insisted that the prices for catering listed online were for mosques, which makes no sense bc it clearly states that they do catering for weddings, birthday parties and other special occasions.

At the end of this, I got the owners name and number but I do not want to waste anymore time on this. I’m going with another Pakistani restaurant for catering.

I loved eating their biryani and the best part of it the quantity they give can easily fill three adults. A quick snack on the car best thing to try is their spring roll or even a chicken patties.
I came to them just 30 minutes before closing the cashier was really patient and told me what they had left. They told me I would really like their halwa it was so good and had the just right amount of ghee. I tried their channa masala which was mouth watering dish.

Single Star because they didn't get my order right even after confirming multiple times.
Order chicken and veg biryani and still got two chicken biryanis.i was told at time of takeout that "yes 1 veg and 1 chicken biryani".

Now can't even get a refund or Provide feedback!

This place used to be good. The past few times I went in, I looked at everything and how unclean the counters were and the fact that the workers don’t change their gloves after touching non-food related things like a broom and dust pan, and I walked back out. I felt like a pig in trough. Its a pandemic. I expect some level of cleanliness. Also the food has gotten worse. Less quality and definitely less quantity. I think Theyve probably been making good money before so now everything is jacked up to feed their greed. There are TONS of other more amazing places to eat Indian food from in mississauga. And lots that don’t serve halal, which is even better.

Irfan was really polite, helpful and sweet, including the entire staff. Food was amazing and fresh.

My all time favorite place for biryani I tried at many places but silver spoon still best in taste.

We used to love having the fried fish/fish pakora from silver spoon but lately their quality has gone down alot as we ended up having either old stale tasting burnt fish. Haven't gone there ever since having a bad experience 3 to 4 times in a row.

Food is OK at best. Lot of variety so no specialization. I called asking for chicken corn soup because I had a sick family member. The guy who took the call said they didn't carry that on the menu. I asked if he could suggest where I could find it close by and he said no. Then I found a place literally a few meters away in the same plaza that sells it! Disappointed.

I have been visiting this take out food restaurant for last many years for me & my family eating needs

There are variety of delicious dishes as per the taste of Pakistani & Indian communities
Waseem is master & superb in his customer service & never finish his work until you are satisfied. His attitude towards his customers is very kind & friendly

Any new customer once served at this takeout that customer will never go elsewhere no matter what happens if the waiting period is too long

Food is nice, good service. However the veg food is always close to be done and some sweets they never have even though mentioned in the menu. But overall a good place.

Extremely unprofessional employee attitude, awful customer service, bad hygiene and long wait times. If they say 10 minutes, easily expect to wait 30 minutes. Some employees don’t wear hairnets. I’ve seen them touch their body parts and then pour the food with the same hands. The floors and counters are dirty and not kept clean. Most employees are talking to each other and joking around while there is a huge backlog of customers waiting. The food is mostly cold and not well cooked. Do yourself a favour, and do not go here. If you want to taste authentic good quality food, I highly suggest the restaurant right beside this, called Shamiana

Ordered chinese to day for the 31st party.had read amazing reviews.
But it was the most horrible and spiciest food I have ever had.the hakka noodles was red n spicy.chilly chicken had only onions n calsicca.no Chicken in it. No more silver spoons for me

To be very honest, the only reason people buy food here is CHEAP. Otherwise, it is of the worst possible quality. Their food is 100% stale, naan is like rubber so hard to chew, and the customer service is like "Take your food and get the hell out". If you're even a little bit conscious about your health and the food you take to maintain it, please don't buy from here.

Great food, good service. They make u fresh naans. We catered for the wedding of 700 people from here, guests were amazed at the quality of the food. Amazing service and friendly staff Preeti.

I ordered food and they told me it would take half an hour. Once I got there nothing was ready they forgot about the order:/ plus bad service after that

I gave 5 stars to Pulawi and Zayana for the gorgeous customer services. I have tasted almost every dish from Mississauga branch and Brampton branch too. Brampton branch is worst, but Mississauga is 2.5 stars.
Preeti service was superb. I must give 5 stars to Preeti for perfect customer service.

Food was good, but service was disorganized when trying to pick up a preordered order. Rather than trying to fix it quickly, they decided it was ok to spend time trying to find out who took the order, point it out to me and then have a general conversation. I had to point out I was in a rush and needed it asap.

Great customer service especially the girl in the front was very kind. Don’t remember the exact name but I think her name was veet. Biryani was delicious. Definitely gonna visit soon.

I live in Hamilton and ordered a large amount of takeout dishes over the phone. The staff member Shumaila who took my order over the phone was very patient despite the fact that I kept going through many options. She made sure to double-check my final order and had it all ready and waiting when I got there. Thank you, Shumaila, for some excellent customer service.

The worst service and the most pathetic part is that the owners defend their staff's rude and unacceptable language to customers. They don't have a concept of apology. Deeply disappointed.

The menu consists of a variety of food at affordable prices and the quantity was a lot more than I expected. I enjoyed great food specially crispy chicken sandwich and Paratha Roll on Thursday special.

We used to love their food, but not anymore. We ordered 5 biryanis, and one butter chicken, and the rice in the biryanis were under cooked for one carten, and over cooked for the other. The chicken inside the butter chicken wasn’t properly cooked. This has happened twice, and that’s the reason I wrote this review. So people know that they’re wasting their money on food that’s not worth it.

Silver Spoon in Mississauga! Very affordable take out restaurant. Wide variety of options from vegetables dishesh and meat curries. In meat you have option of chicken, beef and fish. You can also get some Chinese dishes like fried rice and noodles. They also have samosa and spring rolls. Everyday they have some special discount on specific meals. I like Tuesday because you get Chicken Biryani only for 3.99$. Always busy. They have waiting time of 10 minutes in average. Only take out. Great place to eat South East Asian Cuisine!

Stood in line for 15 minutes and go tabsolutely no service, terrible customer service completely ignored us. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Learn to do business better

Poor customer service. Employees Provide false information regarding food availability. Store opens at 10 am, when half of the display is empty.
I was told that biryani would be ready in 20 mins.when i came back 20 mins later, I was told it will take another 30 mins.i left frustrated. I don't see myself visiting this place again.

I've been a take out customer countless times, I've also used them to cater parties. It is always amazing! Very good food and service, The owners try their best to accommodate any requests and the pricing is VERY competitive. Their restaurant is very busy and sometimes its a bit of a wait but no worries it's worth it. I especially like the lolipop chicken. Keep up the good work Silver Spoon Mississauga!
