I’ve submitted a report to Durham’s health department after seeing multiple reviews on here about food poisoning.

I went to this location at 8: 30 pm last night, the food looked like it was sitting there for days. The lady working there mentioned that due to the weather, they stopped cooking fresh food (Red Flag right there).

We asked for chicken biryani which they brought from the kitchen, again looked old. We also bought Chana - COLD. DID NOT TASTE LIKE CHANA. NO flavour. No salt. Literally nothing. It was right out of the cans and into a container.

Well now, it’s day 2 and we’re still suffering from food poisoning, which now reading these reviews, confirms there is some incorrect procedures going on in the kitchen.

You would think for a HALAL restaurant, they’d have their morals in place. You’re really going to serve old food that’s gone bad, just to make some money lol. Embarrassing.

Silver spoons in Mississauga and Milton etc.are so much better, this one is barely keeping up, food quality is terrible. Chicken kabobs (Reshmi kabob) is all batter with very little meat just to make them bigger.

Quality of food is not consistent.
Bought of biriyani today and chicken was not properly cooked and also the spices were not enough. Did not feel it tastier.

Wow! This place was highly recommended by a friend. Went there and got a few things, and everything I ordered was amazing and huge portions. I will be returning and recommending to everyone.

This restaurant is not what it used to be back in 2013, the food mediocre, service poor she actually forgot one of the item I ordered to pack, and now the charge for Naan with large size entrées, plus the food was not freshly prepared. I don't recommend this restaurant.

The location is great and management is awesome.
One winter day I visited to pickup Chicken Biryani but upon entering the restaurant found that I forgot my wallet at home.

Asked manager if he give me one meal for my kid so his wish for Saturday comes trues.
He said don't worry you take full order and pay when you can.

So nice of him and we enjoyed meal with family that day.

I paid them 3 days after.

Very very very poor customer service. I was there to grab quick bite and there were only 3 people ahead of me. There were 2 servers and it took them 20 freaking minutes to serve me. Average taste. They Need to IMPROVE big time.

I love their Lollipop chicken and chicken biryani combo. Also liked chicken wrap with Ankara chicken. I tried their samosa chat. It was just okay, maybe because I like the tamarind sauce flavor more than the sauce used in silver spoon.

Please improve the service. It takes forever to get the order. I have tried Scarborough silver spoon and they have quick turnaround.
Ps.picked up biryani at evening time and it was cold even though I asked to bring it hot.

Well I am a little underwhelmed. For a members only course I felt it could have been maintained much better. It was evident that ther bunker's had not been touched by keepers. Not a well marked course signage wise. Would not return.

If you are planning on ordering by phone to pick-up, don’t bother. I ordered over the phone for a pick-up. They said I will be ready when I get there. I arrived after 20 mins to pick it up and when I went to go pay for my order they told me to stand back in line to get my order I placed 20 mins ago. What is the point of me placing the order ahead of time? The owner and the lady were very rude as if they were doing me a favour. Silver spoon was good back in the day but unfortunately, nowadays their customer service and quality of food has suffered.

We ordered Chicken Biriyani from Pickering branch and travelled 50 km to take it and they sold our Biriyani to other person, they had our number, they could call us but they did not. When we went there they offered us Veal Biriyani at a very high price. We refused to take it and they said nothing to do. They are not sorry for their wrongdoing. Is this is customer service? Do u give one customer’s product to other customer? My guests were waiting. It was Biriyani for 18 peoples. I will recommend not to go to this branch.
