The lady who removed a spot on my face today was very informative. She was also very warm and comforting. I did not have to wait long for my appointment.

I've had two appts here now and they are a well oiled machine. They start early in the day, there's no appreciable wait, everyone is super personable, and the biopsy was quick and pain free. Definitely recommend them if you are in need of a dermatologist.

Very nice experience - the doctor saw me this morning and arranged for a biopsy this afternoon- how amazing is that? ! The waiting time was completely acceptable, the nurse who did the biopsy was very helpful, explained everything, provided excellent after care instructions and my follow up appointment was booked right away. Overall a very impressive and professional experience!

I’ve had nothing but a great experience here. The nurses are all fantastic, I think that is the best part of the place! I had Jessica do my biopsy and I was one of her last patients of the day and she had a amazing attitude, kind, funny, sweet and explained every step. You can tell a good person and nurse by how they treat their last patient of the day especially after being busy the whole day!

It took me 2 months to get an appointment here and they canceled it a day before my appointment and rescheduled it to a month later. I went there to get some moles looked at and biopsied. By the time I finally got my appointment I had another suspicious looking mole and asked if they could scrape it and biopsy at the same time as the others. I was told that I would have to make another appointment and return all over again to get the new mole looked at. And of course after they look at it for 8 seconds then they schedule you to return for the biopsy. So needless to say I'm hoping that nothing is cancerous, because if I had to depend on this company to do things in a timely matter, they would probably be sending me my bill when I was in the ground. The only good thing that I can say is that the Romanian girl who took the samples for my biopsy was a pleasure

Excellent, friendly staff, RN Alex was sensational. She was knowledgeable, and fast. She explained the procedure of the biopsy and what she was going to do before she did it. Excellent RN!

I would never go back to this place again. Doctor flat out lied to me and had me come in three times I'm assuming to be able to bill OHIP for 3 visits. Had to travel 1 1/2 hours each way to get there, pay for parking 3 times only to be told that they would charge me for a procedure that the doctor assured me would be covered if I did the biopsy. Had I known this I would not have gone back after the initial consultation. Make sure to ask lots of questions and be clear what is covered and what is not.

I was treated with respect and care provided was exceptional. I had 4 areas biopsies and it was a relatively painless experience

Wasted 2 months (waited just to listen from the doctor that they don't deal with this (my case- i do not want disclose it.) which in-fact initially I called them and confirmed about my case and they said they can… they have bad Reception (unprofessional and lack of knowledge)

The nurse who did my biopsies was great. Sge was very kind and professional. She explained what she was doing and why. She also provided me with info re how to take care of my biopsies after the procedure.
But my original appointment with Dr Alam was very rushed. She circled all my spots of concern, took pictures then informed me that appointments would be set for biopsies and f/u. No chance for me to ask questions. She didn't offer any opinions or explanation re what spots needed to be biopsies or why.
It also would have been nice to at least be offered a wipe to remove the circles all over my face.

My nurse did an amazing procedure on my 3 biopsies. Gentle and professional. Thank you. Marianne Eriksen

Dr. Alam is amazing. She takes the time to explain everything to you. The nurses and reception are very friendly.

The front desk are pleasant and efficient. Dr Alam is of course professional and precise. Best of all, the nurse that does the biopsies is great! Gentle, efficient, explains what she’s doing and what to expect and kind.

The nurse that did my biopsy was incredibly pleasant and informative. She is a valuable asset and a bright spot on your practise. She was very caring. She made sure I was not in pain and asked me often through the procedure. I was her last patient of the day. She sees dozens of people per day and still maintained a positive patient centric experience. Very admirable. It was much better patient experience than your intake receptionists and the doctor who saw me for the initial consultation. It's an opportunity to do better.

Hello, My experience getting the biopcies done thismorning was excellent much better than the last two times.

They are Liars and I can prove it! I am a health care worker myself so listen up anyone reading the reviews.
Since I got my cist, I have had migraines daily, sensitivity to light and pain to the touch. I have had a catscan and blood work. Everyone says it's cosmetic and therefore have to pay. I went to a appointment in June and told the doctor everything and explained.its.affecting the quality of life for me. She looked at it and referred me to the surgeon today. She gave me a pre-surgury form as well. I asked if I will have surgery today and if I have to pay. She said I would have surgery and that I don't pay. I thanked her very much saying finally someone is listening to me. I know it's not cosmetic, somethingis wrong. Skin cancer runs in my fam ily too. When I showed up today the surgeon took a quick look and touched it a bit and says it's cosmetic. It's not cancerous. No test, no nothing! He doesn't even listen to me. I guess it's all about the money. They ignored my comments about the quality of life is suffering. What kind of medical professional does this? Isn't that why you became a doctor! Absolutely disgusting. I have already called the Ombudsman and my local MP. Shame on you Simcoderm!

Always very helpful and the ladies at front desk are overworked but keep their wits about them. Very busy spot, definitely need more doctors but always understanding when nervous and having biopsies or sx done.

The young lady that took the biopsies was excellent. Out of 5 she only hurt me once. Kidding. Very friendly and that goes a long way.

The procedure done today was not the main concern that I originally made the appointment. This is disappointing as I need attention to a growth on my face.

Is this the epiphany of what Health care has become in a country such as Canada? Is this what institutions like this one is paid for by our hard earned tax payers dollars? You go in, you fill out a form, you get called into the doctor's office, you spend not even 5mins, you try to ask questions but the doctor hurriedly walks out the office telling you to go to reception to make another appointment after i already took the day off from work to attend this one. Simcoderm, you are the worse, i am never coming back here again.
