Poor boy got bitten by another dog. The cone of shame was because he was licking the sore. This happened Sept 1. We were thankful to get a prescription from the Animal Hospital just by sharing photos. The antibiotic cream was for 2 weeks. It did get worse before we got to the clinic. I’m thrilled to say the fur is growing back and he’s not bothering with it. I know our clinic is incredibly short staffed. I love that after 39 years as our Clinic of Choice, they find a way to get us in. We’ve made many referrals to them. They are that good. Thank you to every person at Simcoe Animal Hospital. All our family members, 4 paws at least, have been treated like their family.
I called to ask about taking my dog in for a suspected UTI. When looking up an appointment time, the receptionist asked for my last name. I explained that the file would come up as my mothers (she’s been going there for 15+ yrs) and that I’m in town visiting. She then said that they were not taking new clients and suggested I go to my own vet in the city or a different local vet. Although the receptionist was polite, I’m incredibly disappointed with being shunned by this facility.
This is my third pet at Simcoe Animal Hospital. The service here continues to be over the top. I had the most extensive examination done yesterday on my pet that I have seen in years! I have had others in other centers because I moved out of the area, but so glad that I am back, and he is now receiving such great care. Time was taken to address all concerns and done very thoroughly. Was referred due to dental issues going forward. Well done!
I highly recommend this team. They are caring, patient and knowledgeable. I have been going here with all my babies for many years and trust them completely
All of the staff at Simcoe Animal Hospital are amazing. We have been taking our pets there for almost 20 years and absolutely no complaints whatsoever. #happydogs
My Australian Blue Heeler is kind of a wild card (shocker) and has ripped his nails out multiple times running. He is also very reactive in nature, such as his breed usually is, and can be quite unpredictable in strange environments.
Heelers aren't always the easiest dogs to deal with but when I met with Dr. Kennedy, I just knew she was the right fit. Very excellent at managing working class dogs with different temperaments.
Tracy is also the NICEST person to talk to on the phone and will go out of her way to listen to all your concerns. She's always there to lend a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen.
