I had my first appointment with Simcoe Family Dentistry today after choosing them because of great reviews - it was the most fun i’ve had at a dentist appointment to date. Dr Steven and Bonnie had me giggling and entertained throughout the entire appointment. All the staff were very kind, helpful, and informative. I came in feeling stressed and under a lot of pressure and I left with a smile knowing I am in good hands. My plan of care is completely up to me, I didn’t feel pressured or judged at any point, and I feel well informed and supported to make decisions about my oral health moving forward. Thank you for a great experience today:)

I can honestly say I have never had a dentist and dental office like this. My kids and myself have been patients of Dr Mike and Dr Jason for years now. Dr Mike has gone above and beyond for all of us and his office Manager Janet is the same way. They treat you like family and not just another patient. Not to mention how much they give back to our community. Truly a gem

These guys got me out of a dental emergency a few years back! Everyone on the staff was so friendly and courteous. Truly felt like I was under the care of experienced professionals, because they are! I’m still currently using their services and highly recommend calling in if you need a dentist.

Wonderful professional team and friendly atmosphere. My teeth and gum health has improved since Dr. Mikhail and the team started advising me on how to properly care and what to pay attention to.

My family and I have been patients of this office for many years.the level of professionalism, quality of care (both preventative and restorative) and general warmth of the office is second to none.

Dr M and his staff have gone the extra mile to help resolve some dental issues and find preventative measures outside of dentistry to alleviate future dental issues/concerns.

Most recently we had a dental emergency, called up the office just as they were closing for the day.they took the time to take our call, stay late waiting for us to email pictures to them and confirm they got them. They got us in the very next day and Dr M and his staff performed a small miracle for a temporary repair until a permanent solution can be done.

I would never trust any other Dental Practice with my family's dental care.

I have always been scared of going to the dentist until I came here. DR Mikhail & his team made me so comfortable. I now have a smile I'm proud of and learned better dental hygiene. Simcoe Family Dentistry is an amazing dental office. DR. M is absolutely wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable with all dental procedures. His team is very welcoming from reception right through to the clinical staff. Janice the manager is extremely helpful and makes sure we are given the best treatment and customer service. If I could give 10 stars I would. Best office in Barrie. Highly recommend!

Quite honestly THE best dentist & dental office I’ve ever been to! I’ve always had extreme anxiety when it comes to the dentist esp after a traumatizing experience I had at a different office years ago. Dr. M & the entire staff are so friendly & worked with me to try & alleviate any fears/worries. They were also fantastic with all 3 of my children ranging in ages from 8-3, so much so that even my 3 year old talks about the dentist & brushes constantly so he’ll be proud of her. I 1000% recommend them for all your dental needs!

I love this dentist and would recommend it to anyone who's either new to Barrie or looking for a new dentist. The staff is very welcoming and understanding. I have anxiety about certain dentist procedures; the dentist's asked if I was comfortable with the nitrogen gas. They also make sure that during a new procedure; that your frozen and comfortable. Dr. Michael is always checking if you're okay and will stop immediately. This is one dentist office I'm happy to look forward to going back to.

Poorly ran office management and projects they are a “team” office but are not welcoming to their staff members.

A wonderful dental office. Was able to get an emergency appointment as soon as I called & they took me right away to relieve the pain. Booked a follow up for the next week and everything was perfect. Pain free & friendly experience with great communication - will be coming back for regular visits.

The staff was very professional and made me feel at ease by explaining what I should expect. Everything was clean and well maintained. Dr. Jason was friendly, considerate and provided me with useful information on how to avoid future issues. Chatting with some of the staff they noted it was refreshing to be at a clinic that didn't try to sell unnecessary treatments to solely up their profits. That was an awesome endorsement that reinforced my already great experience.

Dr. Jason and his staff are some of the most caring and wonderful people I have experienced when it comes to a dentist. I found out I was pregnant and going threw the worst tooth pain ever, to the point I needed to remove 3 teeth asap! They were so understanding and got me in as quick as they could and extracted my painful teeth. I was super nervous and scared. Dr. Jason and his staff are seriously some of the best people I have met. They tried to keep me calm and explained what I needed to expect and told me I was doing great threw it all. I'm going back to complete my dental journey with them and appreciate the concern they had not just for me but for baby aswell. Honestly some of the best most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Even during painful times. The needles to numb my mouth hurt more then pulling any of my teeth out. (I hate needles) Dr. Jason made sure I was ok each time and told me when to breathe in for less pain. 1000% recommend this dentist. Super super caring! A+ Looking forward to seeing them again in July 2022. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart!

Seen at 5 pm and amazing result at 630pm. What was the outcome … a broken front tooth. Thank you so much to the wonderful dentist (your a rock star), dental assistants and big shout out to Janet who listened and heard my plea for help! I will return. Also, the office looks so inviting and warm! From the moment you enter the office you will see the essence of excellent patient focused care!

This is a great dentistry! I had an issue with my filling from another dentist causing me a lot of pain. Simcoe Family Dentistry was able to get me in the next day, and helped me fix the issue. The staff upon entering followed great Covid protocols, and made me feel safe in the office. I was greeted by Bonnie who took me in to the chair and took photos of the tooth for the dentist. She was very pleasant and went above and beyond to get to know more about me! The dentist (Dr. Jason) came in right after and fixed the tooth, and now I feel much better! He was very friendly and made sure I was comfortable and dealt with the issue. The staff at the desk were all very friendly and prompt with finalizing my payment. The place itself is very nice and new looking. I would highly recommend this dentistry and it's amazing staff!

I can't even begin to describe how amazing the staff is here. They were all so fun, and the environment was incredibly welcoming. I'd had some negative experiences that have made me unwilling to go to the dentist, but not anymore. I'm so glad I chose to come here, and I hope more people do as well!

Dr. Jason and the team at Simcoe family dentistry was great! He took the time to explain every process and show me my X-rays to further explain what he was seeing. Very knowledgeable and always in a good mood!

Simcoe Family Dentistry is simply the best Dentist office I have gone to in my life. The team at the office is truly superb and very professional (yet fun - yes I said FUN at the dentist office - imagine that!).
They make you feel totally comfortable. I have had some work done there that I would not have had risked having done anywhere else because they are 100% competent and are constantly upgrading their skills and abilities. I was honoured to be asked to be part of their introductory video and am truly proud to have been able to participate in it. I have also seen them interact with children and they are comfortable there as well. If you have not been there, do it now, you will never use another dentist unless you move away.

All of the staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The team took their time explaining what I needed and why, making sure I understood fully before making a plan of care. Highly recommend!

I’ve always been nervous going to the dentist - but going here I am always smiling and laughing before, during and after my appointment! The staff is amazing, friendly and very outgoing. Even my six-year-old likes to go to the office for his dental needs. I highly recommend Simcoe family dentistry.

I walked into this office a mess! Broken tooth, unable to eat, for about a week.
I was about to rip out my own tooth I was in so much pain.
Dr Mikhail saw me right away. Took care of my nightmare tooth and had me eating again within the week.
There was no judgment from any of the staff.
There were no lectures about not being able to financially prioritize my dental health over many years.
Instead, Dr Mikhail gave me fantastic advice on how to properly take care of my teeth at home. Without knowing if I would even become a permanent patient in the long run. He gave me solid tips on how to heal myself without any costly dental intervention.
One year later, that advice has left my mouth the healthiest it has ever been.
We’re still working on repairing the damage caused by years of malnutrition. No pressure, and complete understanding of the long lasting damage caused by anorexia.
If you’re looking for a dentist that is sensitive, non judgmental, and puts your health an wellbeing before any financial gain. This guys the one!
For the first time in 30 years I’m able to walk into a dentist office with my head held high. No need to feel ashamed of what has brought me to where I am now.

I would never have imagined looking forward to a visit with a dentist! Nope, childhood incidents left a deep impression, to the point of imagined pain during procedures. That's in the past as I’m no longer dreading "the visit" for weeks ahead, it’s now just another task, like shopping. These folks UNDERSTAND you! Dr. Michael is incredibly gentle and oh so thorough and meticulous. Thank you so much guys!

Never have I experienced a more thorough and gentle dentist. Normally I need to be fully sedated, but not with dr Michael. He is patient and especially understanding of people who are nervous of dentistry. Never have I experienced better freezing techniques. Never rushes and always honest.

In the middle of this pandemic last year, during lockdown. I was suffering from sever dental pain, quickly found a reputable emergency clinic open. I am new to the area and they took me as a patient right away to assess my dental needs. I haven't been to a dentist in over 10 years due to a terrible experience, so to say the least I was super hesitant and nervous. The staff and DR. Mikhail P were super pleasant and my visits have always been easy and "PAINLESS". With multiple visits it truly feels like a family there not just another patient! I had 4 extractions, and multiple fillings all without being traumatized like in the past lol. Can't recommend this place enough! Thanks again for the awesome dental work!

Had my first visit with Dr. Mikhail and staff and was very impressed. They were able to get me in for an evening appointment which is hard with some dentists and i didn't have to wait weeks to get in. They were great from the moment i walked in the door! Friendly, efficient and took the time to get to know me, not just my teeth. It was a great experience and i look forward to my next visit for mt cleaning. I highly recommend them for all your dental needs! And Dr Mikhail, I bought the Waterpik toothbrush and waterpik combo on my way home that night as you recommended and I LOVE IT!

Let me tell you what an absolute pleasure it was visiting this team of professionals! I desperately needed to find a reliable, trustworthy dentist as I was convinced my last two dentists traumatized my point of view of going to the dentist overall. I was referred by my sibling to visit this this clinic as they had previously left with an amazing experience.
We drove all the way from Toronto to Barrie on a Wednesday evening through rush hour and I'd be happy to do it all over again for my next cleaning (yes, it's already booked and locked in!). Shout out to Doctor Pliousnine (Dentist), Sarah, and Janet (Dental Hygienist) for being so patient and understanding of my needs. I highly recommend entrusting this team of professionals on your oral hygiene.
