In an industry where, sadly, the bar for quality seems to be frustratingly low, Simon & Sons is a breath of fresh air.

They were extremely patient guiding us through the selection process and helping navigate the government grant program.

On the day of the install they showed up on time, with three trucks and an army of people and replaced every window with absolute perfection before the day was done. Every crew member was very friendly and respectful. The property was left as clean as if they were never there.

Our project involved some custom shaped windows and trim and the fit was absolutely flawless. Our painter who is a stickler for detail toured the house and was so impressed with the workmanship he immediately asked for their contact information. I’ve already recommended them to several friends and family members and will continue to praise their work.

It seriously gives me great joy to know there are still people like this in the trades who are clearly passionate about the work they do and do it exceptionally well.

We recently had Simon & Sons replace all the windows in our house. We were really pleased with the new windows and trim work. The guys were true pros who clearly know what they are doing and take pride in doing quality work. We also appreciated the care taken to keep the site clean and not damage anything along the way. Simply put…. Don’t hire anyone else. We had a big job of changing a double Steele door entry to a huge single door with sidelights. I contacted many contractors and the prices were all around the same but Simon and Sons was not only cheaper but also had a better product. From the initial contact with a quote, to the showroom and numerous emails to keep me updated, the service was by far the BEST! Marq and Colin were our installers and they treated my house like their own. The finished product was amazing. Trim already came stained and the drywall patch work that they did to fix the gaps was great! Very talented installers. Many other contractors said they don’t do drywall. They leave a hole. We are extremely happy with this company for quality, service and providing the exact product as they promised. You will not be disappointed.

Simon and Sons are truly amazing. We have a 140 year old Century home in Uxbridge, where nothing is square or level. So we were worried about the cost/effort of replacing all our single pane windows upstairs and replacing a single pane window + old garden patio door in our kitchen with 1 sliding door.

They assured us they could make it all work: keeping the beautiful old window trims in tact, while making new frames that are square and sealed.

They blew us away with the quality of their workmanship and how clean the installs were.

Our sliding door instantly made our kitchen feel updated, and you can see so much of our backyard view now. And it's now so bright when it was so dark before.

The windows upstairs have already had a major impact on our quality of life. There used to be a huge temperature change when you climbed the stairs, and now there is NONE. The street sounds were much louder, now they're quieter. I'm thrilled anticipating how our heating and cooling bills will respond to this.

Everything is beautiful, high quality, and the installers and customer service has been phenomenal. Highly recommend all-around!

For the past two plus years the main entrance (Front door) to our home would howl whenever the wind picked up and was a constant annoyance. I called Simon & Sons to ask if they did repairs for the weather stripping and the bottom sweep. I had been unsuccessful in sourcing a replacement from the usual suspects. I spoke with Evan and he did some research to see if he could help. He got back to me and was relatively certain he could get the parts I needed, however just to be sure he sent Derrick over to confirm the color would match and if the fit would be correct.
While Derrick was there he asked my wife if she had a screwdriver, he then proceeded to make the necessary adjustments. Our problem was solved in less than 10 mins.
We are so pleased and happy. Thank you.

I love our new door! It took a while to get the door, no fault of Simon & Sons. The customer service was really good. This company is professional, quality oriented, along with having great technical expertise.

Simon and Sons are simply the best! I had a double door in the front that had frosted glass and wrought iron interior. Many companies said they couldn't save the glass and it would cost $16 000.00 to replace both doors. Simon and Sons were able to order the frame and save the glass. They were very efficient, friendly and professional through the entire process and I would HIGHLY recommend them for all your door needs. In fact, I just contacted them to reseal my windows! Thanks for doing such a great job and making the process straight forward and honest!

measured it, ordered it and repaired it in a quick and timely manner. He was very professional, respectful, and wasn’t afraid to answer any questions if I had any. Reasonable price for the repair too! I would gladly have them come back and do any window and door work anytime. Highly recommend them!

Simon and Sons just installed 18 windows, one front entrance door and a back sliding door for me. I’ve seen their work on on other homes and was impressed with the finished product so I thought I should check them out. From the first day I went into the showroom and talked to Evan and Peter I knew that they were the ones to do my house. I had many questions and they took the time to explain in detail the process. There was no pressure sales tactics at all, which in itself is a bonus. Derrick came out to measure and was very helpful with choosing the right windows. He also gave some great advice on how to deal with a odd shaped window which would save me a lot of money. Who does that now a days, S&S do. Once the order was placed the communication was excellent from Evan. All my emails were answered the same day. The install crew of Colin, Mark, Paul, Vytas are unbelievable, they arrived on time, protected the work area, respectful of the property and clean up after every day. The four of them have a great system working together, like clock work. Very impressive. They take great pride in their work and you can see it in the fine details of the finished work, like the perfect cuts on the interior new window trim, aluminum capping, and the smooth bead of exterior caulking. This makes or breaks the final look of everything and let me tell you everything looks fantastic. Real nice guys to have work in your home. We searched long and hard before we placed our order for custom front door system, windows, and garden door. Once we met the guys at Simon and Sons, we knew the search was over. Simon and Sons did an amazing job on our home windows! They were professional from the start to the end. We were very happy with the quality of the windows. We had window inserts replaced by Simon & Sons awhile ago and were really pleased with the end results.
Today we had our front door and patio door replaced by them. Both experiences were great. The entire process was painless (no heavy sales tactics, which I hate) from start to finish and everyone we dealt with was professional, friendly and polite. They did an amazing job on the doors! The team at Simon and Sons was great. From the quote, lots of questions about the job, checking in and then the actual install - everything went great! They were on time, cleaned up, were done all 9 windows and 2 doors in two full work days. What I appreciated most was the honesty and integrity, right from the start, I was advised I could get by without replacing all windows - my other quotes didn’t mention that to me, they just wanted my business. Simon and Sons Windows and Doors supplied and installed new glass for ½ of the windows in my house; the random ones around the house whose double-paned seals had “popped’ over time. After installation, the very first time I had my house windows professionally cleaned, the new panes became badly scratched, even though all the original windowpanes that were cleaned at the same time remained unscratched. I used the same reputable local glass cleaning company I have had for approximately ten years, using the same cleaning technique they always use with consistently excellent results. The second year when all the windowpanes were professionally cleaned, the scratches on the new panes multiplied, while the status of the older panes remained unchanged. The new windows are so badly scratched that they require replacement. Clearly, in my opinion, there is something substandard about the quality of the glass supplied and sold by Simon and Sons. Despite numerous attempts, and irrefutable evidence documented by photos, Simon and Sons refused to take any responsibility whatsoever for the quality of the product they installed.
An onsite visit was scheduled to rule out the possibility that the UV coating was mistakenly applied to the outside of the glass, which they determined was not the case. After viewing the damage, and being unable to provide a feasible explanation, they claimed that the window cleaner may have changed up his technique as he moved from window to window, resulting in some windows being scratched and others not. The suggestion that my window cleaner washed some of my windows differently than the others, and that those windows just happened to be all of the new ones and none of the original ones, two years in a row, defies respect. It should be noted that my window cleaner is a professional in the industry. He has used the exact same quality tools and technique consistently for many years and the company is well known and widely trusted in the GTA. I believe it is obvious there is something wrong with the glass.
Given my first hand experience, I am sorry to say it is my opinion that Peter and Derrick have demonstrated zero integrity. The window cleaning company has never disputed that the glass became damaged during the course of their cleaning, but are at a loss to know what is wrong with this particular glass. They clean multiple homes and businesses every day, the same way every time, and have been in business for years. In good faith, they have always been willing to shoulder some of the responsibility of replacing the glass. Simon and Sons, the purveyor of the glass, will not step up to the plate in any capacity and has only hidden from all accountability.
Buyer beware.

The team just finished installing new windows throughout the house and I was very impressed with everything, they were on time every day, clean, it seemed like everyone in motion all the time. The job was perfectly done, everything fit perfectly, we could not ask for better. In the months prior to installation the team was always supportive in dealing with questions and so on. Simon and Sons replaced 6 windows on my house about 3 years ago. They came when they said they would, were respectful, did the job in one day, did a few little extras at no extra charge. Their price was $1100 less than another company. The windows have held up perfectly. We will use them again when we change more windows. 100% satisfied.

I am generally very weary about using anyone for large projects without direct references from people that I know. I was looking carefully for a company to replace our exterior door and came across Simon & Sons. First, Evan, with whom I communicated throughout the entire process, is VERY responsive (this can be a make or break for me) ; he was super nice and personable, and he gave me every detail I needed to know about the selection process (particularly pertaining to cost). There were absolutely NO surprises. HUGE thanks to Evan for making this experience seamless and pretty fun actually (and especially for this fairly big and potentially precarious purchase).
I didn't get the names of the two gentlemen who actually installed the door, but they were as professional, efficient, meticulous, informative, and just overall pleasant as I would hope for them to be as the installers of this "little" project.
