I would give a score of 0 if I could. I got a loan to have some new windows installed. When I told them I wanted to pay off the loan, I was told I'd have to pay for the LIEN ON MY HOUSE to be discharged. I was not told they'd implemented a lien. WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE! No answers to emails.completely disgusted!

Contacted the company about a fraudulent certificate of completion submitted by a contractor to release payment. The work has not been finished and the financing was released before the work even began.

When put into contact with a customer service manager I was told there was nothing they could do because they have a signed document. The signature required to release the document is mine, which does not match the document signature. Two months and there has been no answer to any of my follow-up questions. I'm now on the hook for financing I have no need of and of which I never received, or received the value of.

Would recommend not entering into anything with this company.

Update: Have not heard from their Customer Care Department for another two months. Have provided everything short of a court order as proof that the work on my house is incomplete (most needs to be redone - in writing from dealer) and that they never should have released the financing.

I've reached other people in other departments who have confirmed they do have things in place for fraud and incomplete work, but then bow out saying they can't provide anything further as it's not their wheelhouse. Again, I would recommend staying clear of this company.

I never write reviews, but this case has got me so upset and frustrated. This is the absolute worst customer service I’ve dealt with. I have been paying my bills consistently every month and they continue to send me higher and higher bills and have sent me to a collections agency even though I showed them proof from my bank and my bank even showed them proof. Nobody gets back to you, and when they do they don’t give you any answers, and they take weeks to reply. My excellent credit is now being ruined by these guys who are also in connection with EcoHome. If you don’t want lose your mind, don’t use this company. Two top things off they won’t give me a new account number to pay, they want to auto withdraw money from my account! Over my dead body.

This company is the worst I’ve ever dealt with. We have a ‘loan’ with simply group because we bought a product from another one and when we had a late payment we had to pay them NSF fee of $45! So not only does my bank take it from my account but this company does too! That’s $90 each time! No matter how good this product is I won’t be buying it again.

Kabirat was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She answered all my questions and then volunteered more information to help me in the future. She went above and beyond of what I expected from her. After a few frustrating calls to other institutions, she put my mind at ease and got rid of a lot of my stress! Thanks Kabirat!

Simply the worst experience I've had with financing to date. I got some work done on my house last year and was able to pay 1/3rd of the work up front and had to finance the rest. The only option the siding company had for financing it was SGF. I had to go back and forth with them several times on the monthly payment I wanted and in the end they still got it wrong, charging me the minimum payment that would keep me indebted to them for ten years and pay nearly double what I owed in interest. They also refused to provide me the information I needed to add my account with them as a bill payment so that I could manage payments myself, insisting on a direct deposit form. I'm looking to pay off the full balance now since they've gotten it so wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if they still attempted to take money out of my account after our business is concluded. Shady company, don't trust them. If you need financing for a project with any company that uses them, try for a line of credit with a fixed rate at your bank instead.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had. Numerous emails without any response and phone calls with poeple that CLAIM they want to help but don't even properly listen to provide help or they are probably reading responses out of a book. Also if there is a time sensitive matter that needs to be handled quickly for example within 24 to 48 hours don't count on this company to assist. I had to wait over 6 business days.

Stay away from companies like this! I've been trying to get a Discharge of a Notice of Security Interest since February 25,2022, sat on hold today for 2 hours to be told it's still in the discharge process. I have clients trying to re-finance with time to be of the essence since August and nothing seems to get this company moving. Crown Crest won't help you either (another company they are with) and you'll be paying way more for your loan when you have to pay your lien off, not worth it, predatory if you ask me.

Simply Group is an awful company to deal with requested a postponement was notified that it would take 24-48 hours 30 days later still no postponement forwarded to my lawyer, has contacted them multiple times and still no postponement.

Edit…another week later still no postponement. Awful company stay away from them.

I am not very happy that this company does not let the borrower know when the first payments start contract or not plus they do not let you know they tried to take a payment out without my knowledge.also they do not send reminders if they want people to like them for future needs, then they need to learn to work with the borrower for future borrowing

Have been dealing with this company for over a year i have called many of time stating I want a receipts from all payments and what is due. They have said oh yes we will send out still have not received anything. Said they would send out emails still nothing. I feel like they just take my money and give me no updates on my account. Feel very uneasy.

Our office assisted one of our clients with a Notice of Security Interest registered against her home. We reached out to Alicia David, Customer Care Manager at Crown Crest Capital and Alicia was very helpful with her communications and responded in a timely manner to get this Notice paid and discharged from our clients property. Alicia was compassionate to our clients situation and was a pleasure to deal with.

Don't tell you about admin fees and just randomly take it out. Then when offering a refund, they hold it hostage as a credit. Don't waste your time. RUN!

The transition of paying off the loan was fast, easy and smooth.even though paying off the loan the first month was always in my view, this company (based only on the customer care agent i dealt with) gave me the impression that this was a company i could deal with again.

This is my third edit. Someone from the company reached out to me and promised me a credit… however it was never followed through with. She claims I was issued a credit but I never received it. This company is worse than I thought. When I emailed back to explain she said it has been issued and when I emailed back with dates and amounts withdrawn which show no credits she just stopped replying! So basically this company just lies… just like they said they called me multiple times which they never did… and now when they claim I was given a credit… I stand by my original review of stay far away from this company and I will never deal with them again! Too bad I can’t give them no stars cause even 1 is too many.

Stay far away from this company! They claim they have called you when in fact they haven’t which results in late fees which “they can do nothing about”. Had they done their job and called in timely fashion the problem would have been rectified. I will NEVER get financing from this company again!

Two years ago, Simply Group did not have an HR department. This gave management wide latitude to use shady tactics such as bait and switch job duties, hearsay statements, nepotism, office intimidation and reprisal, lack of accountability, etc.

One VP, Tasleemah Ladak, frequently utilized shady tactics to elevate her credibility at the expense of others, often citing additional last minute job duties as "empowerment to do more" without providing clear parameters and expectations of additional duties. She has also masterminded and participated in the intimidation of employees through impromptu and last minute "performance reviews" without providing prior notice. Staff are often manipulated into performing extra job duties under threat of "not being a team player", having critical information withheld from them, and yelled at for questioning inefficient practices. Micromanagement, second guessing, and blame shifting is also rampant, often coordinated by employees directly related to management.

My financing was originally with another company but somehow ended up being sold/switched to Simply Group. My payments go out by direct EFT from my account. In the past 2 months I have been contacted twice by Simply to say there is a problem with my account.however checking my bank account, I can see all payments have been taken. When I speak to customer service, no one seems to know what's happening and I'm told not to worry about it. I have yet to receive a statement of account.not even sure how much longer I need to be paying these people. For a financial services organization.they don't seem very organized.

I had thought everything was cleared up by Phillip with my account, I just received another call from a collection manager about a missed $50 payment that was an missed internal billing error on simply’s part. Phillip had assure me everything was taken care of. No one in this company seems to know what’s going on. One person says one thing and another says another.

Simply Group has been more than helpful to answer all of my questions. This is the second time I have called in the last two weeks and the customer service was excellent (specifically John & Abhishek) both times! I was to receive an email with a document. The agent called me after to ensure I received the document. As well, the agent offered me a few solutions to my problem. I was more than happy to have a positive customer service interaction. There was no wait time. I hope the company knows how helpful my interactions were with both these agents and they are an asset to the company.

My nutrafarm loan was transferred to this company and since then the schedule withdrawal got messed up. It was going fine with my bi-weekly payment before, but after withdrawing on Oct 30, they try to withdraw on the Nov 9 which obviously is less than 2 weeks. My paycheck wasn't in yet so I got an NSF. I keep on asking to reverse it which a representative named Marcia (not sure if correct), said she will put a note and will process. We will see if it will happen. I will update this rate and message, but then again I already have an NSF record in my account for their mistake! Also, I keep on telling Marcia (?) to correct the date of the next withdrawal. The 2nd time I talked to her, it was still not updated. So she updated again, which I remember she said she updated it the 1st time we talk. Now, I'm worried that they will withdraw again earlier than they suppose to.
There's another issue with the rep Marsh or Marcia which I won't discuss now 'cause it's already long. I'm just so upset with this.

UPDATE: Feb 12 2021

Simply Group calling me again. I called and I was told I still owe 500+ and they are still charging on the incorrect date. It was doing ok after several calls although they still charge on the wrong date, it was find bec.it was after the date it was supposed to. But still showing I owe 500+ which should have been cleared and the date still wrong. Just waiting til im done with this company. I dont know if it's the people Im talking to or the system that has problems: (
