Simply Thai Cuisine

I ordered Tom kha Kai chicken coconut soup. It came with just coconut milk n few pcs of chicken n thick cut mushrooms. No flavour, no garnish, no sweet Basil. This is not how Tom Kha Kai soup is? For $. 12.95/- a small bowl of soup with 3pcs of slice chicken and a few mushrooms. Never ordering from this place again.

The food are very good. I ordered basil chicken and pad Thai. I ordered the normal one, but they have choice for vegetarian or vegan. The stuffs are also very nice. They asked the details about the food allergy.

I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! I live in Mississauga and will drive to BWV just for Simply Thai. Their pad se ew is the best in the city!

They served me food that smelled burnt and was extremely oily. When I told them they said that it is as it's supposed to be

Our waitress, Sophia, was personable and attentive. The food is served fresh and is hot and flavourful. We always enjoy our visits to Simply Thai!

Food was great and so was the service and the prices were ok. I went for lunch and on the menu the dishes were between $17.95-$22 nothing cheaper other then one spring roll for $4.99 and the portion size was not enough to fill up my husband but for me the portion was enough.

This place has been around here for at least 20 years that I remember. Always a bit. Delicious food, very attentive staff, and a cool pet fish at the front. Try their pad thai and fresh rolls!

Not great but not terrible. Not many vegetarian options, which is disappointing, as usual I’m able to get excellent Thai food. Wish there were somewhere better in the neighbourhood.

Decent but way overpriced. Ordered takeout: two entrees, Pad Thai and Lemongrass Chicken and spring rolls, the total was $55. And the chicken dish didn’t even come with rice. When I asked why a $20 dish didn’t come with rice they responded that none of their dishes come with rice even though the picture in the menu shows meat with rice, lol. They were kind enough to offer me a small styrofoam cup of rice for my troubles. Everything tasted fine, but portions were small and spring rolls were two cut into quarters to make it look like you were getting more for your money. Restaurants need to stop price gouging. Overall, a rip off.

Decor looks so modern. Red curry shrimp tastes so good!
The colour of the shrimp chips are not the same as other places.
They offer lamb which I seldom see in many other Thai restaurants.

Ordered basil beef, cashew chicken, and chinese broccolu through their website for delivery- food came way faster than eta and was delicious - beef was so soft, cashew chicken was so flavourful

Loved this place. I ordered the pad Thai noodles and it was one of the best pad Thai I’ve ever tried! Will be coming back!

Fabulous peaceful atmosphere! Very welcoming and the food was tasty. Polite and thanked us for coming. When in area I will definitely eat here again!

Found the food portions very small. Wish they could give you more for the price you paid. Not good at all. Would never go back there again. There are other restaurants way much better with bigger proportions of food.

Amazing, was greeted by two friendly hostesses and this was the best tasting Cashew Nut Chicken I have ever tasted. Very professional and modern looking restaurant. Recommended and will be back!

Staff was not happy with the tip. So three of the staff came together to the table and demanded more tips.
I have never bin to a place like this in my life. They are so rude.

We are here at 2: 50 and ask if there’s lunch as it states till 3 pm and the server said there’s no more and lunch closes earlier.

It would be nice if she said something else to basically say they don’t honour their policy.

The excuse is lame and if she would have explained it another way to refuse service that would be better.

Wouldn’t be here again. Attitude is very important for food industry

We found this place after googling it. Order over 10 different types of dishes for 4 adults. The food was okay arrived cold. Towards the end of our stay when my husband decided to pay we split the bill in half. The friend that we split the bill with tipped them WELL! They decide to bring this man from the back along with a couple other workers and try to intimidate us for tipping them MORE! Our bill came up to $160 dollars they had no manners the man started staring at me with a death stare I don’t know honestly what that was about.they all were standing there DEMANDING us to too tip MORE! I have never seen this level of unprofessionalism in any restaurant! If you want a peaceful restaurant to go to this is certainly not the one!

The place has a great atmosphere with their modern designs and amazing quality of food to eat at an affordable price. 100% recommended

The food was bland and rubbery, it felt like eating paste. I ordered the Thai style pad Thai and spring rolls. Both were tasteless.

This place is amazing, I love every dish every flavour. I found this Gem 10 years ago. Never letting go.

Very well kept and convenient restaurant. They serve large meals and for inexpensive prices. I enjoyed the meals a lot and the staff members were very personal and informative. Recommended.

Great food, really fast service. Staff followed all the necessary precautions to allow us to dine-in safely. Will definitely be going back. Not to mention they had a lunch menu, which had a lot of options around the $12-$13 mark if you were looking for something inexpensive.

I take my family to this lovely spot quite often! This is my favorite spot to to have a good dinner. I go to this spot frequently. The cooking is just great, the team is professional and the prices are decent. I enjoy being in this spot to have a nice meal.

Maybe dine in would have been better, but none of our take-out entrees came close to being finished. A shame. Pad Thai was very ketchup-y in taste. Pad Se Ew was simply eww - very bland and mushy. Chicken Curry was dry and no hint of spice. They couldn't even get spring rolls right - chewy and tasteless. Very disappointed. Service was indifferent - no hello, no thank you. My daughter recently moved to the area - thankfully plenty of other places in the area for the same money or less. This place seems really a poor outlier for the neighborhood.

At the moment you arrive in this restaurant they give you an agreeable feeling. Very courteous stuff, it is a nice restaurant to enjoy with friends or with your date.heavenly meals, qualified chef, comfortable pay and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Delivery order was just ok. The delivery came much, much faster than it said it would online. The portions were a bit small compared to other thai places we've tried. The fried tofu was also not what we expected, with 4 pieces of fried tofu and 4 pieces of breaded sweet potato. Not sure what the in-person dining experience is like, but not too impressed with our takeout.

Best spot to grab something when in a hurry. The customer service is speedy, rates are convenient, excellent mood. I highly recommend this place

Most definitely some of the best Thai food I've had in Toronto. And great atmosphere - very quiet and relaxing.

Great place for Thai; I had the red curry peanut chicken with a hot and sour soup and my wife had the pad Thai thai style. Service was good and the food was good but very sweet. Would be a 5 star if less sweet

After contracting a stomach virus (norwalk) from their pad thai.resulting in 48 hrs of hell from both ends. I decided I would never buy restaurant thai food in toronto again. Not sure how this place survived. You are gambling big time eating here.

Every sauce I had was had such developed flavoured and perfectly balanced. The ingredients were all cooked to the perfect texture and were fresh. Make sure you order the coconut rice with your entree! I like to take the leftover rice and sauce home with me as a snack for later. I don't taste sauces this good very often!

Small space with good food however small portions of food as compared to other thai restaurants. You might end up repeating your order bcoz the portions are not enough to satisfy your hunger due to which you will go to a restaurant. Keep that in mind before visiting this place.

Had lunch on Monday. Had the Cashew Chicken, it was very tasty and just the right size for lunch. My daughter had the Pad Thai with Chicken & Shrimp. I know "Shrimp" can be both singular and plural, but really? One Shrimp in the Pad Thai!

Pumpkin Curry Soup very tasty and real ingredients. Also had the Shrimp Fried Rolls

Cozy atmosphere, lovely restaurant, quiet, which I really enjoy as a Senior. Excellent service & cuisine.

Decent Thai food without having to drive downtown

The room is furnished/decorated with inexpensive though contemporary pieces and the service was quick and friendly. When we visited.the restaurant was empty save one another couple who were just finishing their meal so we literally had the room to ourselves. The food was all tasty, though the excessive use of inexpensive and inauthentic vegetables like broccoli made the dishes less authentic and offered poor value when ordering for example a chicken dish. While there are better Thai restaurants in the city, Simply Thai offers good food to residents of the Bloor West Village and surroundings.

Great food, piping hot food, great service and the spring rolls are to die for. Crunchy and delicious.

A simple space. With a deceptively simple menu for lunch.
I enjoyed padthai. With this you get crispy spring roll, and choice of hot and sour soup or pumpkin soup which I get everytime.
The pad thai arrives hot and freshly made to your table.
All this for $15.

ACTUALLY so good! I love how authentic everything is! Nothing is over done. The coconut rice is just right! I'd go back!
