Made an appointment to purchase a specific set of tires. When I arrived, the tires are out of stock. Wasted my time.

Thank you for hooking me up with some great tires for a great price! A year ago I got Hankook RS4 semi-slicks for my 2003 Acura CL Type-S for a price that nobody would offer, even if I'd buy them online. I want to recommend this shop to everyone as once it was recommended to me by a co-worker.

I had the chance to buy tires here a couple of times in the past and each time I've been very impressed with their prices, the quality of their Sales employees (quick at responding to email requests) and the great service. I highly recommend this place.

I visited the Simply tire shop with appointment for my SUV back tire change. It was as simple as its name! What I have expected and got is completely unbelievable. I have got the price as lowest as possible compared to other shops and the brand new tire with four month of old. Unbelievable! Joe keep continue helping the consumers please! Thanks a lot!

Called in to order some winter tires for my car, the tires came quickly and the installation was fast.

SimplyTire is simply not the place it was when Allen was running the shop. Joe is still providing good pricing on good products, but the service and the techs have gone downhill. I read the bad reviews and thought they were wrong, until it happened to me.

I bought new summer tires this year and when I went to change over to winters, I couldn't get the lugs off. I broke a lug key trying. One lug I managed to get off was torqued to about 400 ft lbs. Spec is 88.

Joe told me that VW bolts will overtorque themselves over time (!), and would not help me. Would not even loosen the ones that weren't lock nuts. Told me I had to go to a mechanic.

My mechanic managed it with a 3/4" impact driver on a little GTI. And he had to destroy my wheel locks in the process. He managed to save my rims. I paid 2 hours of shop labour to get wheels off that were put on at Simply Tire about 5 months ago. Every nut was on with about 400 ft lbs of torque. This does not happen on its own.

I can see a new tech making a mistake with a new impact driver and using too much force. Fine. Not even trying to help the customer loosen a lug bolt that they put on? Not fine.

Whatever money I saved using SimplyTire the last few years fir multiple sets of tires was spent undoing their tech's overtorquing the bolts by at least a factor of 4.

I’ve shopped at simply tires for about 4 years now, and I can confirm the owners and staff are straight forward honest people. You will not be disappointed with the prices.

However, my most recent transaction with this business has mediocre at best. I called the day before as my tire was flat and needed a tire asap. I was told it would be shipped Saturday morning (Friday) was the the date in which I called. I called Saturday morning as instructed to double check, and I was told I would have my call returned (approximately 30 minutes). My call was not returned and I had to follow up (I get it, you get busy and things don’t go as planned). I was informed my tire was not there and would not be available until Tuesday.

I’ve had great experiences for years. However, my expectations of great communication and service is what leads me back to this place all the time. I don’t make complaints are aren’t valid, but the ball was dropped on this experience. I will not be returning back as a customer.

Excellent store. I would definitely recommend. They charged a very fair price and had the tires within hours of ordering. Their store is clean and modern and welcoming. I am removing 1 star because they didn't actually start working on my car until around 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment.

Walked in to buy tires. Two or three fellows behind the counter
just chatting. One actually made a customer appt over the phone,
he was on the phone less than a minute. No cars in the parking lot. I was the only person there and was standing directly in front of the counter. After 10 mins of being ignored, I walked out.
They have a great website. Use it to price tires and go buy elsewhere. I drove all the way up there from downtown. I know this place has a good reputation, for the life of me, I don't know why.

Always friendly and knowledgeable. I have never gone there and felt pressured into any purchases. My go to for anything wheel related for all my cars

Tried multiple times to talk to somewhat about tire/wheel pricing and availability. Was immediately put on hold for 10+ minutes each time. I guess I'll get my wheels/tires from somewhere else.

Great guys but my caliper painting went horribly wrong. Ruined my brand new rotors and brakes and got overspray everywhere! Avoid at all costs!

Impressed by Joe and the team at Simply Tire. Very organized, friendly and professional. The prices are amazing, I had the 19" Firehawk Indy 500 UHP summer tire installed (replacing the Michelin PS4s I had on the car) and was out the door for under a grand including road force balancing and tax. The facility was clean and organized. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Highly recommend this shop!

Edit: Returned for my second set of Firestones, got 66000 km out of the last set. Was in and out in 45 minutes, road force balanced, with friendly service

Bought my All Season Tires from Simply - Spoke to Firaz (Sales Manager) - he quoted me price. On day of install - I did ask him about any further discount or Groubuy promotions (Since Simplytire have groupbuy on RFD) - he mentioned nothing. Got tires installed and very next day - Simply tires organize a GroupBuy - same ties are $100 less. Now Firaz doesnt respond to my emails or return calls. VERY BAD SERVICE. GO to other Tires Places which give you good service and have good sales managers.

I think the pricing here is not bad on this store but the service is bad. They always make me wait 1.5hrs-2hrs just to balance my wheels. The last time i went there i have to wait 1.5hrs just to balance and install TWO wheels. I bought a brand new winter tire but they give me 2 yrs old tire and one brand new and im aware that the product was discontinued but they didn't inform me that they would give me 2yr old tire i was expecting a brand new one and one more thing i asked if they could put the new one in the front and old one in the back, the guy who was helping me said yes and even wrote it on the note but they didn't rotate my tires. While i was waiting there is 3 or 4 more customer waiting for their brand new wheels, the guy in the cashier was arguing with the supplier because the supplier couldn’t deliver it on time. He was getting mad at the supplier yelling at the store so that the customer could hear it. The customer was waiting for a while too and didn't get what they come for. The guy was very rude and didn’t even apologize to their customer and just say to come back again. The first time they balance my wheels, the balancing weights of one of the wheels come off on my drive way and i have to get back to the shop to rebalance it. They did balance it again for free of charge but i have to wait 1.5hrs just for one wheel and its a waste of time and they didn't even apologize for it. This is my first review and im going to make effort just to write this review to help people. I don't even know why i came back 2 or 3 times to this store, Im not going back again after the last visit. I see lots of luxury cars going to this store and i dont even know why even though the service was very bad.

Friendly staff. All 4 new tires were at different pressures (38 psi, 43 psi, 34 psi, 32 psi). Took the car to an alignment shop and got them all the same pressure, and read the same on the tpms as well!

This was a few years ago. I purchased snow tires and rims. I picked them up because it was too early to put them on. When I went to put them on they did not have the hub rings so they did not fit. I specifically asked them if they needed hub rings and was told no. Went back and got the hub rings. Put them on and the brake calipers hit the weights. Had to go back and have them balance them with different weight location. Now I have sold the car and was getting ready to sell these rims and tires. Only now do I notice that 3 of the tires are 255's and 1 is a 225. On a 9 inch rim!

Worst tire shop around. Asking me for $40 for a tire fix and then they told me to let one of the guys bring the car in the garage it is so narrow and small! Do yourself a favour and avoid this place! You are better off going to fenmar auto they will fix your tire for $10 this is no joke

Best tire shop in the city period. Been going to simply for well over 10 years. Best prices, great service. Only downside is during busy seasons it’s basically impossible to get a hold of anyone on the phone. Never the less, do what I do and just go there, you can get helped right away and all their pricing is right on the site anyways.

Simply Tire did an amazing job outfitting my E53 with some new and incredible looking GTS rims. Wow. Great service and great pricing!

This place is great! Joe went above and beyond to find me some wheels to match my staggered tires. Very professional! I highly recommend these guys - I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I drove halfway across the city to come here.

Really happy I came here, did 3 of my cars here and all of them came out perfect had my callipers painted and it came out great with my new set of rims and tires on my most recent visit. Great place check them out and ask for Firaz when you arrive.

Great service. Came into swap my winters for summer tires, and they were professional, fast and really good at their job. Great management as well.

Joe was super helpful when I was there to pick new rims for my car. He called around to different stores to find stock of the rims I wanted to ensure I left happy. Would recommend!

Great place with great customer service, I went in to get a new rim and tire set up for my 2012 cls 63 and was greeted at the front by a young man by the name of Firaz. He helped me with everything I needed and made sure I got the right set up for my vehicle and answered any questions or concerns that I had, very experienced and overall a great guy.

Nice staff but sold new old tires over 3yrs old and one of 4 tires is 4yrs old. Should be transparent and when asked if there are problems with these tires what can they do. Their answer goto manufacture. Disappointed

Extremely poor management, I tried to come in to get new tires but was force to leave. Tried emailing them for 2 weeks with different sales reps but non of them responded. Finally found someone's willing to respon to me is when I called in to find out why. I was told to come in on a specific day but they told me I email them back during "after hours" so I show up at the shop for nothing! I know its a very busy season but the lack of respect and professionalism can't be the excuse. If these guys don't reply to your email don't even bother giving them business, its a waste of time.

This was second time here I would have given 5 stars, previously they were very responsive by email etc.this time came in looking for winter rims on a quiet day mid week, really mediocre service, came in ready to buy but ended up leaving and going to Extreme Wheel and Tire in Richmond Hill and could not have been happier with Mike's personal attention.

Do not go to this place. They have a sign posted saying they hand tighten all lugs when in reality they will torque the hell out of your lugs. They even take special care to give you your lock nuts in a separate bag and claim that it is because BMW lock nuts are weak and will break.

STAY AWAY AS YOU CAN. It seems they've changed owner, so has been the service quality.
Their service used to be excellent and now it's dropping dramatically. The previous sales rep Andy & Allen were so knowledgeable and helpful, but now the sales in the front don't have any knowledge about tires and cars.

Had one of my vehicles tire changed two weeks ago. Told the reception guy to put the newer pair in the front (mine is a FWD), no notes were taken down and the job was not performed in the way I wanted, leading to the car keeps going off toward one direction while driving. Had to have the tires swapped at someplace else.

Something even worse happened last week when I brought my BMW to take the winters off and put on the summers. The mechanic guy wasn't able to loosen one of the bolts and caused the edge of that bolt worn so badly. Now nobody is able to take that off! I've been doing tire service ONLY at this place since 2015, and nothing like this had happened before. This indicates that starting from the the guy who put on my winters, people at this place don't use socket wrench and torqued the bolts to suggested tightness.

Worst of worst, when they performing the job, they also had the left fender of my car DENTED OFF! What a ridiculous place! When I asked to review the surveillance video, they only shows me the video when they took my car into the garage, nothing about when they were doing the job and when they took the car out was shown.

Their unprofessionalism and recklessness is costing me huge amount of time and money to fix the troubles they made. I'll try everything to avoid this store from now on.
It's a shame that a sun-like business has been turned into a joke like now.
Strongly recommend not going to this place.

Best spot for wheels and tires, hands down. I've brought all my cars here (Audi A4, S4, S5, Volvo S60R, GTI, the list goes on) These guys do it right! Extremely knowledgeable staff, they will get you what you're looking for and the look on your car exactly perfect!

Friendly staff, fast service. They have even given me new cardboard boxes to store my old rims when I asked them to mount new tires on new rims. Location is clean and has excellent range of rims

5 star reviews are spot on. Went here for my first set of winter tires despite it being well out of my way to do so. Excellent customer service from start to finish and very competitive prices! Thanks SimplyTire!

They forgot to tighten all the lug nuts on my front driver side wheel. Needless to say it almost came off while driving on the 401. Very unsafe situation.

Literally what the other reviews say. Best tire place in Toronto period. The price is great and my tire was changed and balanced in 20 minutes. Would come back again.

Had an issue with this shop but the owners we're quick to resolve it. So they get an A+ for customer service. Admittedly, the new shop owners have a lot to learn - however like any other business they deserve a chance! Negative reviewers should reach out to the business owners.

DON'T GO THERE.
We are returning clients and this was the third year and would be my last visit. Here are some quotes from the staffs literally made me speechless:
"It's not your fault, it's not my fault. BMW screws are defective, they know about this. " - My car was returned to me with three tires changed to 19" and one 18"winter tire still on. And they were expecting me to accept and drive back like that?
"We have surveillance. You see the curve is not smooth? Your car came in like this. " "Just take to a bodyshop, they can fix this easily. " - there was a dint on the wheel fender of the unchanged winter tire, what a coincidence. It was not sever, you can only notice it from a certain angle, not on the curve.

It was a waste of my time and the terrible experience ruined my day. We now have to spend more time and maybe more money to fix the problem. We reserve the right to take further action.

Husband called for tire purchase on April 2 for and the following happened:
- Staff did not know the basic tire size for Camry 2008 CE model. Kept on denying the existence of this base model and refused to do any research to look up the standard tire size as they would in the past (yes we are returning customers)
- When we looked up the tire size from our old Simply Tire receipt they told us the 16 inch tires would cost $130 each. We booked appointment on April 3rd for 1: 30 - 2: 00pm
- Took the car in on April 3rd on time and was told we had no appointment booked.
- Also on April 3rd, was told the tires were $140 each. What happened to $130? No idea.
- Waited at the tire shop and eventually got the tires changed with new rims and bolts
- On our way home, found car to be shaking when driving at high speed. Went to a gas station and checked tire pressure, found one to be under pressured so filled it up. This did not fix the problem
- Took the car back to Simply Tire for a re-torque on April 5 and it still did not fix the problem. Was told nothing could be done about the shaking problem because they "only mounted new tires"

So to recap.this place was not helpful in looking up tire size, did not book appointment even though they said so, quoted us the wrong price, left our car with a mysterious shaking problem. The only positive thing was the fact that they still managed to do the tire installation on April 3 despite not being able to find the appointment time in their system.

However, we are still very disappointed with Simply Tires. Now we have to take our car to a different garage to check out the shaking problem at our own expense. Good luck to ourselves.

Best tire shop in Toronto PERIOD. Lowest prices on tires I have seen. Fast service. Very organized. Love that they use Hunter Road Force balancing machines. My ride is always smooth after visiting them. Very knowledgeable on wheels too. They have a lot of stock and can get tires fast if they don't have them (same day or next day). Chilled water, coffee, and cookies on hand while you wait. Nice touch. Don't waste your time going anywhere else.

I think it is a good and decent business and I would recommend it to everyone.

I used their service for a very long time (for at least 8 years) and I bought and installed wheels for different cars for myself, for my wife and for my son. Although it is true that sometimes their answering machine does not offer to leave a message - it was never an issue for me since I communicate with them 99% over email. You can find Allen's email here in his replies to the negative customers' reviews. Over emails, I used to ask tonnes of questions about the tires they have. Also, they send me links on websites of RIMs manufactures where I can choose the sexiest RIMs for my car, and they buy RIMs which I choose. Even price negotiations (the bargaining) happens over the emails too, and eventually, when we strike a deal I even get an invoice and set an appointment date-time over the email. Allen replies to emails in a very timely fashion.

I did compare their prices with other tire-shops and their prices are quite reasonable. Even if I was able to find another shop asking say $100 less I would not switch because this shop has a proven reputation. Many folks who own very fancy and expensive cars come to this place for sexy wheels because guys in this tire-shop know what they are doing. I know in person one fanatic of German cars (my former manager) who knows everything about cars and who drives from Waterloo to that tire-shop because he finds them to be the best.

This fall I installed in this shop winter tires for my son's Mazda and my BMW. I bought RIMs for Mazda in Mazda dealership (my son wanted a very specific RIMs) and they installed "Hakkapeliitta R3" tires on them; these wheels look and perform well. For BMW I've bought 19" Rreplika-R198 RIMs with "RF Bridgestone Blizzak" (which is the size and brand recommended by BMW), again these wheels look and perform well. I will attach images of these wheels to this review.

DOT of tires was almost 2 years from present date. Staff quoted me a wait time of 1 hour when in reality the job took almost 2. They didn't provide any updates or inform me of the delay as a courtesy. Unprofessional atmosphere in the store with staff joking with each other and laughing extremely loudly, reminding me as if i were back in high school.

Just purchased a set of winter tire with steelies today. Allen told me they had a problem with one of the tires (couldn't get it balanced). Allen helped me out and i got the Pirelli's instead. He was honest and explained to me what would happened if the tire is not properly balanced.

I overpaid for the Pirelli's he recommended due to the fact they were cheaper than the blizzaks.he called a few mins later while I was in my car already and said he forgot to refund me the amount I overpaid.

He even went an extra mile and gave me a $25 discount for the slight errors. Really recommend this place and would bring my business back here in the future. Cheers!

I've been going to Simply Tire for about 5 years now and have had nothing but great experiences. Everyone at the shop is very knowledgeable and it is always a pleasure dealing with them. I would not bring my car anywhere else. Thanks!

Always fantastic service. They have done 4 sets of tires and one set of rims over the past couple of years. Zook always provides great advice and service.

What I like about Simply Tire's service is that they can think of solutions on the fly while making you feel valued as a customer. This makes you want to return again for further services and establish a rapport with the business. They are generally quick with their turnaround and always seem busy, but that does not discount their efforts to deliver respectable customer service.

I had placed an order for winter tires during a busy period and they were able to accommodate me (+1). Even though we had miscommunicated on tire spec (I had an older model versa, so they did not hold my model of winter tire), they were able to upgrade my tires to blizzaks while giving me promos to offset the cost and save me money! (+1) Finally, even though the winter rims I ordered were not available at the time, they were able to change over to my older rims and keep my rims for the next time I change over to my seasonals. (+ cherry on top) All in all, it was a pleasant experience and I would not hesitate to recommend them as the go-to tire shop! Thanks guys!

Great service and very reasonable prices. The staff seem to know their stuff and are a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend Simply Tire and will be a returning customer.

The staff that I dealt with was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They worked with me when the suggested tire size didn't fit properly and upgraded my tires for a small price difference. Will be going back here whenever I need tires. The prices are incredibly fair compared to Canadian Tire.

One word, epic. These guys know exactly what they are doing. Sent an email, got an auto reply, they responded within 24hrs, and had me booked in. Brought my car in fr my Saturday appointment, and they had me out in 23 minutes lol. Tires bagged cleanly, they even used cardboard to avoid the wet from damaging. Simply amazing!

Service was ok, their customer service needs a lot of work. Did not even fix a tire issue they created. Reason why I gave them 3 stars are their prices are pretty reasonable. Other then that would not recommend owner needs work on customer service.

A great group of guys who run an efficient operation and if there are any issues problem solve on the spot that gives the customer a better deal. This is a great, but busy establishment.

The one down side is limited parking. But a shot usually openings up pretty quickly.

Reasonable prices on winter tires. BUT, the new tires they put on were under inflated. Manufacturer suggests 32 psi but the tires had only 23 psi. Did not expect this from the tire professionals.

It is a cool place! Awesome pricing if you order early and get the early bird discount. You can email them to order and pick a date to either pick them up or have them installed there. Super quick and friendly service. Will definitely come back and recommend to people. The only drawback is their packing lot is too tiny!

They are the "go to" guys for tire and wheel packages. Always busy, appointments several weeks out during seasonal rushes. No bulls**t. Aggressive pricing and quick turn around (about an hour) once you get an appointment slot.

Went there for the first time, recommended by several friends. The staff were friendly and straight up. Originally the tire I choose were not there as the manufacturer sent the wrong model. After talking with the rep, they convinced me on the tires and it was cheaper then the ones I wanted. They have a place to sit down, free WiFi, and washroom (very clean) if you need. Best prices compared to everywhere else and I was in and out within an hour and half due to the tire mix up. Call or email ahead for an appointment as they are very busy

Visited this shop the other day, The sales person that helped me out Firaz was very helpful. Took the time to recommend and pick out the tires/rims I needed. Highly recommend SimplyTire. Will be back for future help.

Purchased and mounted winter tires here. Price was same as everywhere else. Paint on 3 out of 4 wheels was chipped in few places, wheels were dropped on concrete from a dolly, 1 tire wasn't properly mounted and is leaking air from 2 places, same tire is also leaking air from damaged valve. Came back to complain about the leaky tire, was told by front staff that they'll be too busy for next 3 weeks, and to go to a competitor or CanadianTire for any issues. Thanks for advice, I'll go to another shop from now on

Update #1: Hi Allen. I'm actually a real customer and I stand by my words. I only came back to remount 1 tire because it wasn't done right the first time. But I'll take your offer from your response. You can find the receipt attached and a photo of the wheel that was chipped the most (note that it was taken on the purchase date). Looking forward to hearing back from you
Update #2: Upgraded rating from 1 to 3 stars. Settled with the owner for amount needed to fix listed issues. Original response was deleted. Promises made for proving myself as a real customer were not met.
