Excellent experience from start to finish. The shop is clean, bright and has lots of cool artwork. They are very organized.professional and efficient. Leo touched up a tattoo for me. He had a light touch and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Sink or Swim Aurora and would return.

Went in with a conch piercing from a different shop that wasn’t doing great. They spent an hour with me replacing the post (old one was to short), cleaning it and advising me on how to handle the infection. Wish I went here for the piercing in the first place! Will be my go-to for piercings from now on.

The attention to detail, and patience demonstrated to my friends tattoo has me coming back to get my own! The Buckhorn location was very, very clean. The staff were all super friendly and enjoyed working together. It showed! Best part was the “do you need a break? ” question. Ummm, yeah! The ice cream shoppe is right next door! Lol

I had my first experience at sink or swim in 2016 for a small tattoo, nothing to really review on. I decided to give them another try today on a bigger piece and I am extremely happy with the service and outcome. I called about 10 minutes before open inquiring about availability today, to my surprise, Paul had time available. I went in, and the team from the front desk was great. Very kind people.

The tattoo itself turned out amazing. Paul was great, It was my first time getting my ribs tattooed and he kept checking on me asking if I was okay. It was very reassuring having an artist that cared. Paul was professional and the small conversation we did have, was hilarious. I was very comfortable with the appointment and Paul. I will definitely be going back in the future for more pieces with him.

They greet you with a smile, make you feel at home, very clean and professional atmosphere. Everybody is willing to talk to each other, they work as a team! They are all very happy and encouraging of each other, makes it feel like home! Definitely made me feel welcomed!

Yesterday, I got my tattoo done here, and everyone at the studio was super friendly and accommodating.
My awesome artist was Dolly Mae. She was amazing, right from the start, and didn’t blink even once when I couldn’t decide on the design that I myself had drawn, but was waffling back and forth between different versions. She was very patient and gave me every opportunity to think and decide after a change was made. Basically she wanted me to be happy before she started. I love the end result!

My daughter got her nose piercing. The whole process was excellent. My initial phone call was pleasant and informative. They send an immediate email with clear instructions. Answer any emails ASAP. When we showed up place was clean. Rei was amazing in her explanations, making us feel comfortable and was super efficient and skillful with her piercing. Great after care as well. Would highly recommend any piercing here.

Went to Jen to get my first tattoo. She was welcoming, professional and absolutely lovely. Clean space, wonderful conversation and an amazing experience. I'll be booking again with Jen soon!

Went here for a belly button piercing with Kali. I chose this place because of all the amazing reviews she has. I gotta say, she proved them right! She's so sweet. Made me feel comfortable and calmed my nerves. For someone to make an impact on you on a 10 minute interaction, it shows how great of an experience she's able to provide for her clients. Will be back for sure to get my second piercing in a couple of months and will recommend this place to everyone. The shop was clean and the front desk person was also very nice. 5 experience!

I first went to sink or swim as a walk in in 2019, and ever since then, they have been my regular shop. All the staff are friendly and accommodating and more than willing to answer any questions you have. I have worked with Trish on a regular basis to complete a half sleeve tattoo (about 9 individual tattoos) and I have also gone to Kali to get my ear pierced. Both artists are extremely professional and know their craft well. Dom at the front always greets you with a smile, and if anyone else is covering the front they do the same. Overall it is a welcoming environment where you can feel comfortable to express yourself, and the team welcomes you like family.

Incredible tattoo shop. The artists are always on point, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is amazing.

What an amazing experience! The shop is clean and welcoming. As soon as we walked in, we felt comfortable. Dan is so talented and professional. We got two tattoos done today, and Dan did such a great job. He made us feel so comfortable, and we had great conversation during the whole appointment. He was so easy to work with and really made our visions come to life. We will definitely be back again soon!

I saw Kali for my belly piercing and she was the sweetest person on earth.she was very calming and very sweet in her voice. Everyone else there was very nice and super chill. Great prices too. I definitely will be coming back in the future for pricing or tattoos.

Sink or Swim Tattoos is a great place to get your tattoo, whether you’re a tattoo veteran or virgin. The artists are super friendly and knowledgeable which makes for a great overall experience. They also have a very clean environment and you can tell they have super high standards for sanitization and customer safety. I am a repeat customer and brought my friend in with me to get her first tattoo. She was pretty anxious at first but she told me how amazing her artist Trish was at explaining how everything worked and what to expect. My artist Daniel listened to my idea for the tattoo and he created exactly what I was looking for. My friend and I absolutely love our tattoo’s and they look perfect! If you’re going to get a tattoo, get it at Sink or Swim!

Came in for a septum piercing and everyone was very friendly and kind! The store was very clean and organized. They seem very inclusive and professional. Kali is amazing, very precise and careful, her work shows she cares about and enjoys her job! Which makes the experience much less nerve racking. I saw some of Kali’s work on Instagram and all of her work is absolutely stunning so I knew I had to book with her at sink or swim. The guys at the front desk were really nice and they followed all covid protocols so I knew I was in good hands. I was greeted with a warm welcome from kali and she helped me pick out my jewelry. She was so kind from start to finish and reassured me that I would have the most comfortable experience. She was informative and honest which is something everyone should look for in a piercer, you can tell that she loves what she does which put me at ease. Got my ears pierced today with Kali and felt I had to write a review because I was so impressed! I've been looking forever for a good/reliable piercer in Toronto who knew their stuff, and a friend recommended me to Kali. The location is super clean, professional, and I felt really comfortable right away (I've been to other shops that were intimidating/hard to enter). I'm SUPER particular about piercing placement and all that, but Kali was so so patient with me, which I really appreciated. We spent a lot of time discussing the piercing options and she really took her time with me. Honestly 10/10 experience, I left super happy and I'll definitely be back for more.

I went in for a tattoo a few months back, they had me booked with an artist I waited a few weeks to get in with, I go in and they double booked him and gave me to a female artist, I asked if she has been doing this for a long time later to find out once my tattoo was botched she was a tattoo apprentice, needless to say no refund was offered and I went else where to get a tattoo cover up Bc the work was so horribly botched! Would never recommend this place now that it’s under new ownership!

WARNING DO NOT GO TO MIKE AT SINK OR SWIM. The only tattoo i have that i regret is from him about a week ago i went in for a tattoo i specifically asked for a certain eye tattoo and instead of stencilling it he went ahead and free handed on my neck.now not only do i have to get laser removal on the tattoo, i have to live with the fact that theres gonna be a scar there forever because a tattoo artist decided to do his own thing on someone elses body.and on top of that instead of him trying to help he blocks me off instagram like a kid

This was my first time coming here and i was BLOWN AWAY. First off, the studio looks beatiful, very clean, organized and welcoming. I booked an all day tattoo with Trish and she took her time and gave me her all. I appreciate everything she did and loved how friendly all the staff were. I loved my piercing! The piercing artist, Kali, recently pierced my ears. This was my first time getting a piercing and I am very pleased with the service I got. Kali talked me through the whole thing to relieve my stress, she explained what she was doing as she was doing it, which i found very professional. A few days later, one of the piercings fell out so I messaged Kali about it on Instagram (her @ is PeachesPierces) and she offered to replace it free of cost! Since she replaced it, I've had no issues so far and I will definitely get my next piercing or tattoo there. She's sweet and gentle and a fantastic piercing artist!

So so happy with the tattoo! Mikey worked with me through the design and offered suggestions to ensure it was what I wanted. Love it!

Got my very first tattoo today from Matthew and he was amazing. Super friendly, patient and down to earth. Extremely accommodating and kind, and explained the entire process from start to finish. I could not have asked for a better first experience! The shop itself is awesome, clean and they make you feel like you’re the only client in the room. Sink or swim? I'd say sink. Most of these tattoos look like Amateur hour. And you charge $150 an hour.wow you must be sniffing glue. I don't know how you can call yourselfs an artist with these cartoon looking tattoos. You have a website with 10 pictures and all of them look like a first year apprentice did them

Amazing experience with my 1st time piercing with Vishal! He made me feel comfortable, allowed me to pick me piercing, cleaned the area, completed the piercing cleaned the area again and emailed and explained care instructions! I got a tattoo orginally done when I was 23 yrs old. It was done at Phat Cat tattoos in Niagara. The lines were horrible, the halo was terrible and the word love was highlighted yellow for no reason. I was not happy with the result only paid portion of payment $80. I reused to pay the rest. So for 13 yrs I have been looking for an honest, straight forward tattoo artist with a gentle touch. All artists said that I had to cover up my memorial tattoo. I refuse to cover this tattoo up.
I went to Sink or Swim Tattoos in Aurora under new amazing management of Debbie and Dom and new artist. They are such kind, caring and wonderful people. I felt I was at home right away.

Debbie introduced me to an amazing artist and wonderful gentle man named Matthew. He made me feel so comfortable and so cared for right away. He took a look at my tattoo and said all we have to is resorect it and get rid of the yellow around the word love.

I never had such a gentle touch on my body while getting at tattoo. He had to go threw scarred tissues and very very deep needle work and it still felt better then anything else. Matthew you are amazing artist and even more amazing man. Thank you so much! Thank you to my new and only tattoo and piercing family. I will only go and send my family and friends to your shop ever!

I love every single thing about this place. They let my children play pool, watch movies and gave them water to drink and candy to eat. They are truely family. Jessie, Matthew, Vishal Debbie and Dom and to the others I didn't get to really meat yet. You are amazing people and have great hearts. Only people like you can make something so personal and scary so relaxing, calm and fearless. I will be posting pics of a before and after. Labeling the before and after.

I truely love my new tattoo I show it off even under the plastic bandage provided by Primal Adttiude.

I know the new owners of Sink Or Swim in Aurora and I just saw the new renovations and they look INCREDIBLE. From what I’ve heard they are getting new artists that have wicked portfolio’s. I have a hard time choosing tattoo artist’s but the new owners know what they are doing. I can’t wait to go in and get a new tattoo!

Loving the new owners of Sink Or Swim Tattoos! Very friendly! Popped in yesterday to make an appointment and Public Health was there doing their inspection as they just opened last week. Over hearing the new owners, I could tell right away that they were so knowledgeable. While chatting, it seems like they’re getting new artists and already have a piercer.not to mention guest artists!

My husband and I stopped in as we had seen that the owners were hosting a charity event for Kids Help Phone. Not only is the place very clean and well designed, the staff are incredible and were extremely friendly and helpful to everyone who stopped in. I am absolutely in love with my new tattoo and can not wait to stop in again.
