SIP Wine Bar & Authentic Neapolitan Pizza

SIP, my go-to spot for years, is the most underrated Italian gem in Toronto. Their preparation of traditional Italian dishes is truly incredible. From a spot-on Caprese to an excellent Penne Arrabbiata, and my wife swears by their amazing Bolognese!

I had the risotto ai funghi twice, and the Margherita pizza Verace, and they were both amazing.
Highly recommended.

This is my favourite Italian restaurant in the city! I have come here multiple times and it is definitely a go-to spot. The vibe is always great, the service is phenomenal and the food is delicious. Will definitely be back here.

Amazing food & great wine selection! This was our first dinner in Toronto after moving from New York. We left very happy & satisfied. Most definitely, we will be coming back.

There is an extensive wine list, the food was great (we got the mussels, caprese salad and cheese board) and the server was very attentive and helpful!

We came to SIP Wine Bar for dinner on recommendation of some of us who have had a good time here before; and, this time, we all had a great experience as well.

We ordered an assortment of cocktails and dishes - most of which we shared, along with a couple bottles of wine, and everything was enjoyable.

We had SIP Bruschetta, Frittura Mista, Burratina di Bufala, Amalfi Pizza, Calzone, Agnolotti, Risotto alla Pescatora, Tartufo Classico, Panna Cotta and Tortino al Cioccolatto.

The staff was super nice and the service was very good.

My wife and I went to Sip for the first time ever last week. We were thoroughly impressed. The food was fresh and reasonable. Their Sip Rossi house wine was easy on the palate and paired wells with everything we ordered. The best part was our waiter (Raimondo). He was very attentive, funny and helpful. He made our dining experience much more enjoyable.

This Italian restaurant is the only place I know near Yonge-Eglinton that serves real Napolitan food.

Pizzas are delicious. They use quality ingredients for their food and it changes everything. The Italiana with tomato base is amazing and I would recommend this for any real pizza lover.

The white chocolate cheesecake is also something you definitely have to try if you want to finish on a good note.

Pasta and risotto are also really good, and you will get a great portion.

One of the best pizza in Toronto. If not the best (sorry Eataly). If you're a foodie, Gambero rosso gave them a prestigious Italian award. And the guys working in, the music, well, it makes me feel I'm back home!

The food was delicious, one of the best pasta places for Toronto or even dishes in general. Portions were great and prices. Service from our waiter, a nice, older Italian guy was excellent (can't remember his name). This was back from the year before. I'm just thinking about this place now as a suggestion for a friend coming into town and thought I'd write a review as well. Hope it's still just as good.

Great Italian restaurant. The food is delicious and it seems to be in Italy. Lovely staff and great chef. If you are you looking for an amazing Italian restaurant, this is the right place.

Worst customer service. My friend reserved tables and they said the establishment forgot about it. Not only that they were quite unpleasant with children. Sip Wine more like Dip out and let them whine bar.

Service was great. The food was amazing and generous. And the wine selection and was good - the server knew what and how to recommend a choice to me.

Talk about a gem! Our service from Raymundo was the best I've had in a very long time. Wine was perfect, and their pizza! Omg so delicious. Everything fresh.

My friend and shared an arugula salad, vegetarian pizza and chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this slightly hidden-away spot.

Simply put, great wine selection, amazing food (you have to try the pizza), and fantastic friendly service. Truly make you feel welcome. Great date night location, with warm ambience and open front to a cozy patio. Would recommend anyone looking for a romantic night out.

Super great service, attentive but not intrusive. Best Neapolitan pizzas and pastas. Flavourful dishes without overwhelming saltiness. Salads are fresh and crisp with subtle dressing. A wonderful experience. This has become our regular favourite hangout! On a quiet street steps away from the bustle of a main thoroughfare.

Horrible place! They don't even do little bit customization to the food! It's a huge mood spoiler and not at all vegetarian or vegan friendly. I would rather have pizza pizza than having a pizza here. No options in menu.

Fantastic tasting food and friendly personable service. Our first visit, we sat outside on the sidewalk tables, then asked if we could move to the restaurant patio area, as the sidewalk was a little busy with people and traffic. The staff were happy to oblige. We ordered the bolognaise with penne for my daughter fantastic and the waiter offered us a split pizza of spicy sausage for me and plain for my daughter, which was delicious.

Authentic, no nonsense Naples pizza (we opt for the Margheritas with buffalo mozzarella), a delightful pandemic find. Ride share delivery or direct order by phone if, like us, you want it direct from the oven. Looking forward to eating in the restaurant soon

I ordered take out tonight and none of the 3 people I saw working in the restaurant were wearing masks. The food was good but I will be taking my business and appetite elsewhere in the future.

Nice place in the heart of Yonge and Eglinton. Really miss the dine in experience. Pizzas are great. Looking forward to going when restaurants are allowed to open again.

Food was delicious as always. Our server was friendly. The atmosphere is comfortable, not too loud, a good date spot I'd say or a group outing.

Was turned away at 10: 30pm at the door when they are listed to be open until 12: 00.

Absolutely great restaurant, our family loves the atmosphere in the restaurant and always enjoys excellent food and drinks. Sometimes they get busy and you need to wait for the food a little bit, but it is totally worth it!

I recently held a corporate dinner in their private room downstairs. The setting and decor was superb! We were treated like royalty.the food was truly authentic and delicious, along with their extensive wine selection. I have been here on multiple occasions, both with family, and friends. I have consistently, had a good time, and been reasonably waited on. Also, delicious food, and I love the texture of their crust!

I ordered the Funghi pizza which comes with cheese, mushrooms and basil. The cost was about $18 after taxes. This pizza was not worth the money, taste was nothing special. You're better off going to Pi Co down the street, not only will the taste and selection be better but also cheaper.

Great location and great service. They know their wines and how to suggest the pairings with their awesome pizzas. I thought we'd visit this place once, but we keep going back!
