Sisley for Honda

My wife and I have spent a long time looking for a used Honda Pilot that is in very good condition. Honda Thornhill had one on their lot and AJ was most helpful through the purchase process. AJ was very professional and I think very highly of him as a sales person. He should be considered by anyone who is looking to purchase a used vehicle.

No proper service anymore. Apparently because of COVID 19 they stopped carwash and still continue. Because of lots of customers they try to reduce the quality service. I don't recommend Honda because of poor service and specially this location which is worth.

The worst customer service you can ever imagine. They should hire adults who can interact with other adults. The place is run like a shop from 1920s. The front line staff represents the dealership and they are very rude toward customers.

It was a pleasure dealing with Honda of Thornhill. Matilda Matti was the sale agent and she was very attentive and knowledgeable answering all my questions if she didn’t know the answer she got someone who did right away! She followed up on everything. I would definitely recommend you ask for her if you go to that Honda dealership!
They said it could take a few months to get exactly what I wanted. Mike the sales manager assured me if the car was to be found he would get it and they found the car in a few days.
Shayna from financial services was very patient and explained all the different ways of buying leasing or financing the car and answered all the many questions I had on all the ways that would be best for me. Within 2 weeks I had my car!

When I requested information of the vehicle on Autotrader, Eivet and Peter Z.were quick to reply with assistance. Me and my father made the excellent judgement call of choosing Sisley for Honda. Last week we test drove and reserved a used '16 Honda Civic EX-T that we were skeptical about because of some testimonies from Turbo owners we had heard so we were considering a used '17 Civic EX that was newly arrived! GULNARA was understanding, cooperative and engaged in discussion to help us make the perfect purchase. There wasn't a single point in the appointment that I felt pressured to make a choice. I wish there were some sweeteners like a few complementary oil changes and the maintenance guys missed polishing some scratches but all in all the process was so prompt and seamless that within a few days I was taking the practically brand new auto back home with me and I am now its proud owner! A very well organized establishment. We were able to find our ideal car (Honda CRV 2021) within half a day. After test driving a couple of different options we paid the deposit on that day (we also got a very good discount) and received our car in less than 2 weeks. Mr. Bruce Shalviri was super helpful and answered all our questions and explained a lot of things that we weren't even aware of since it was our very first car. An all around great salesperson who took care of pretty much everything for us. Then Mr. Victor Mohammadi, made sure we got a great deal on our financing after thoroughly comparing all available option for us. Also in July2021, I had a service appointment with some delay and complications but Jaysen Francis managed the situation properly and I was happy with his understanding and management.

Serviced a CRV to get a bill over $4k when the car is worth $9k. Without any discussion if this is worth it or not.
Their response is labor cost when it was clear with text messages proof that they only worked on it for 1.5 hours instead of 5.5 hours for one of the jobs. Response to that is flat rate. Ok buddy.

I gave them a chance after a weak discount to make it work and keep customer retention but again their response was so weak with a $50 gift card and free oil change. This place is a joke.
I had to teach them how to run a business and also what to look for to fix the car.
They don’t even know how their bill is broken down.

Just too much to write about. It’s unfortunate this place ain’t completely revamped from how they do services and the reason is location location location

Went for a test drive. The salesman treated it as a driving test. Need to follow a specific route and got yelled when turned into a small alternate road.

The ABS brake kept kicking in on normal brakes, but the salesman still pressure us to buy afterwards when we already showed unsatisfactory of the car.

Most importantly, feel disrespected as a woman by the salesman.

I did run into some early issues with the car, which wasn’t inspiring, but Lilian in the service area provided great communication and care to make sure that it was fixed and I was taken care of - would not hesitate to recommend her either.

Read well before you spend your money.
They are only interested in selling you a car and once the transaction is over then they don’t really care about you, and all they do is finding ways to sell you more services.
The very first time I took my Honda CRV 2016 to Honda Sisley for the regular maintenance, they said they will change the oil and check the car.
They got back to me after two hours with $250 bill for oil change and nothing else was done to the car. Moreover, there was nothing else mentioned on that report. SO, they parked the car for two hours and charged me $250? They did not have answers when I asked them what did you do to the car that is worth $250 other than an oil change. Literally nothing.
SO, my first recommendation to you as a consumer. Do your maintenance at your mechanic shop. The dealer will always make this non sense maintenance requirements that are not needed most of the time as told by your trusted mechanic.
The second story is when my lease was over, I decided to buy out the car. My car had 49000KM and it was like a brand-new car.
They gave me such a hard time transferring me from one person to another for 3 weeks.
First, they booked an appointment then they said the sales person will call and he never called. Then I called them back and the sales person told me this time that the finance manager will call me back and no one called back.
When I asked them to talk to a manager, someone finally offered help and she said that I need to do the Safety first and then I can talk to them about the paperwork and she booked me to do the safety with them.

On the third week a lease manager called convincing me to buy a new car and he was trying to mention the benefits of buying a new car. Well, my car is almost a new car. Why would I need to spend $43000 and pay the depreciation value of a brand-new car when mine is hardly used and I can buy it out for much lower value.
I was not convinced and I started calling other dealers and I found out that I can do the safety anywhere and they explained the paperwork I need and how much was the buy out in order to complete the paperwork and to transfer the ownership from Honda Finance to me.
I did my safety for $140 instead of $275 + Tax at Honda Sisley and then I took the papers to that other dealer and everything was ready in one week and the buy out was completed. They even send a request to the insurance company to remove Honda Finance from the insurance policy.
In summary, once you buy a car from Honda Sisley then they don’t care about you after that. Every transaction is about making money. I f there is no profit involved then they don’t care about helping you even if it is their job to do so and it is their job to be honest and up front with a customer.
Please reconsider where you get your car from and don’t make a hasty decision as a consumer.

Dealershop heavily geared towards asian and arabic clients. Ever since I walked in, I left out of place because I wasn't asian or arabic, they seem to think that everyone looking for a Honda around yonge and steels is either arab or of asian background which is claerly not the case. Left in a hurry, and ended up buying at a different honda dealer which treated me fair despite of what i look and sound like. Not asian or arabic? LOOK ELSWHERE

Good thing i live close on steels and bathurst.come to see one of their used cars, i thought I walked in into a Lada dealership first, the amount of carelessness and rudeness these guys showed was beyond any explaination. I walked out with an amazing deal all thanks to the amazing experience i had with Ian Zheng. Ian was not only helpful for making an informed choice for my car but also helped me get a cool deal when i drove my car out. My finance advisor Suli was also really helpful and offered me a great bargain on extended warranty on used vehicles as well as paint and rust protection. She also helped me get a very competitive interest rate on my auto loan. I do recommend everyone who is purchasing a used vehicle to get extended warranty and have peace of mind.
