Navv is a very well organised, obedient and disciplined servant. The food is good and cheap. This is the best place to be while in spadaina. I recommend to all
I ordered delivery and only recieved 1 of two curries. If they ran out, I wish they would have just replaced with something else. Very disappointing to pay money for food I didn't receive, and the whole order was basically a waste since I ended up with a large quantity of rice and naan but little to eat it with. I requested spicy but the one curry I did receive had no spice to it.
Every morning I pray to god That I could eat some Sizzler Kabab The taste of the curry cannot be beat Whether it's veggie, gravy, or meat Eat anywhere else and you will sob Because it does not compare to Sizzler Kabab!
I visit once overthere at night the experience was really bad for me. It was really wrost experince for me.the staff was really unprofessional. They don’t know how to treat a customer. The one guy get angry on me without any reason. I honestly prefer you don’t visit there.
I placed an order for four items, and all four of them were disgusting. The panipuri masala contained merely boiled potatoes, and there was no straw for the juice and tea had salt instead of sugar.
Among the best Indian food we've tried in Toronto. It was delicious! And the service was quick & friendly. Recommend the Butter Chicken and the Sag Paneer combos.
Eh. Honestly a 2.5. Food wasn’t terrible bit like not good either. Lamb biryani was authentic but authentically bad. Had the aftertaste that you can get when the oil used is subpar. If you’ve had a cheap biryani in Pakistan from maybe a roadside vendor you’d know what I mean. Pretty large portion for decent price tho!
At Sizzler, a fantastic spot in Toronto, you'll find the most mouthwatering butter chicken in the city. It's a perfect balance of flavors and spiciness, and the rice is wonderfully buttery, making each bite a delightful experience. However, it's essential to mention that their prioritization of delivery services can result in excessively long wait times for walk-in customers, which might be a downside to consider when dining in.
Placed an order online for delivery and after waiting an hour found out that order had been cancelled. Tried calling the restaurant numerous times but it did not go through. Then I placed an order for pickup that was accepted and showed up at the restaurant only to find out it was closed! Please make such updates online to not waste people’s time. Been starving for the past 2 hours because of their lack of updates. Extremely disappointed.
It was total waste of money. The kabab wrap had no taste, literally no taste, no sauce nothing. N in the name of wrap they give u the things wrapped in a thick (which is difficult to eat) tandoori roti. Biryani was ok. But service is too slow even for small order I had to wait for a long time n remind them for my order.
I was surprised by how good the food was! The garlic nan was amazing, and nihari was really good too. And to top it all of, the falooda was great too. I really enjoyed my food. Flavours really hit home. Open till late, so definitely a plus point!
Let’s talk about the Mutton Biriyani first, There was no meat at all in the biriyani and it seems like I have paid only for rice and a few bones. I would like to rate 5 out of 10 Another thing in the 2nd picture as we are negotiating about their time management while we ordered all together and they send one of my friends food after more than half an hour, I mean we all are done at that moment. Poor management including dirty tables
The place has amazing food. Flavours hit home. We ordered Nihari, Garlic Naan, and wraps. Something to consider, the wraps have lettuce, cucumber, and onions only and are not the same as what you'd find back home. Apart from that the place has some delicious food at a reasonable price.
Great experience, so glad they renovated this place. Fresh food, chicken kabob combo is a great bang for the buck. Portion sizes are good. Just wish parking was more accessible.
I ate halwa puri yesterday, which was very amazing. Overall, it was a good experience as i recieved a great customer service from the girl standing on the cash counter. She was having a smiling face and was very polite while taking and serving orders. 10/10 to the chef and the girl.
During the day there is this girl, Multiple times I have noticed that she intentionally gives my food late, I am a brown guy, If a white person or Asian person walks in she serves them first, Shame on you, I am your regular customer almost 2-3 times a week, Change your attitude, shameful,
I've been here twice now, after a late night shift. The food is delicious and both times, our server, Harpreet was very friendly and provided exceptional service! Looking forward to coming again.
The naan and kababs are always fresh and always hit the spot. If you show up too early they’ll tell you the ovens are still firing up. Just proof to their dedication so that the food is prepared hot and sizzling while you wait, marinated well and not a second worth of wait is disappointing. The spice level can be a bit intimidating for first timers but the fallout is just right. The ambience is fun, with Pakistani style murals and poetry on the walls, and everything from folksy or popish Bhangra blasting the air. Definitely come by here for a quick lunch or evening pit stop or take out.
The place was really nice and easily findable for anybody who wants some good food. Tried the rice and naan with butter chicken. The quantity is pretty good for the price. The combos for 11 to 12 cad is really value for money with either rice or naan with butter chicken and one drink. The butter chicken taste was good but could have been spicier. The naan was huge and one naan should be pretty filling for most people. Will update once I try out more from the menu. Everything was served super hot too. Will definitely recommend people to try this place out at least when you are in and around the Kensington market area.
The best thing about this restaurant is ir is open late night. We love the fish and chilli chicken. Harpreet is really hard working employee of Sizler Kebab They should value and appreciate her for her overall customer service and multi-tasking.
If your are looking for an authentic south Asian food place at reasonable prices, this place is up in your alley. Went there with wife and kids, had an amazing experience. Staff is very accommodating and helpful. Very reasonable prices, tidy place, free parking and on top, delicious food.
Absolutely love their food and always drop by whenever I get the chance. Freshly prepared, reasonably priced and good portions. I loved their lamb biryani served with spicy raita and everything else like butter chicken, naan and deserts are equally mouth watering.
Major spillage of pickled pink sauce during doordash. I delivered a door dash from here and had a major spillage of strong scented pink sauce. The hoodie I used as padding was completely soaked and my backpack had to be hosed down. I assume one of the lids did not hold and since it was only in a paper bag it did not help contain the sauce. I have never had a spill so epic in any of my doordash orders. The use of a plastic bag will avoid this in the future thanks
I ordered chicken tikka. It tastes okay, not great, but what I'm most disappointed about is that there's an unbelievable amount of food color (red) in the chicken tikka that doesn't come off easy. It would have been better without that color.
Excellent food, the whole restaurant was slammed however the server made sure we got the food on time and was very polite. Kudos to the server who served us. Will 10/10 recommend.
I LOVE everything about this place. The FOOD delicious! The place looks soo good, totally capturing the vibes of India and Pakistan. Totally recommended! If you love Indian food and Pakistani food this is the place. Totally in love with place. Would visit many timesss.
I visited today and had three tikka wraps. This was literally the best service i have ever had, which is why i felt to write a review.its the type of service you usually only experience if you'r regular. Just outstanding. I wish i could have more than 5/5 stars. The wraps were also beyond excellent. Grabbed one home, my mom liked it. Though i like your tatoo grl, your loyal customer base is outstanding.great team player help cutomers to meet their requests. The green yougart sauce about you explianed has great taste.
Very very very bad experience.everything is tasteless. Today i went and i ordered cashier told me our taste is awesome and at the end when my order was come so fish is over cooked nan is burned and biryani is same like the boil rice just kabab is good otherwise every item is not good
What a hidden gem! Food taste was on point. The beef ribs were perfectly marinated. We were a group of 14 and ordered like 12 different items. Each and every item was delicious. I'm not even exaggerating. The naans were so soft and fresh. And this was at 2am! Seriously kudos to you guys! Thanks imran and harpreet for taking care of us.
The girl taking the order here is not at all welcoming and makes you feel like you’re asking for free food! Moving on to the food, I ordered a chicken tikka wrap which is so dry that I couldnt eat it without choking on it and the meat felt like you’re chewing on rubber. Also the whole experience is so disappointing that am writing this review while trying to finish the wrap!
Chicken biryani was ok. A little expensive. Quantity of rice was good and taste was ok but chicken pieces not so much. Small pieces of chicken. Customer service girl was completely distracted. Service was fast. Overall, just a satisfactory visit.
Went there recently, Ordered Tikka Biriyani. Chicken tikka were BURNT, the rice was so SALTY. Worst biriyani I have ever had. What’s even worse is the Attitude of the waiter lady. She’s rude. Don’t recommend going there.
HIGHLY RECCOMNEDED, Decent menu and quite economical. I have tried everything on their menu. The cooking style is more like Pakistani Punjabi and north-Indian. My favorites are chicken kebab wrap and chicken tikka wrap, decent sized, slightly spicy and very cheap. Their tandooris are great, I enjoyed all tandooris. Their chats are good, both quality and quantity are maintained, they have dahi vada as well, not listed on the menu though. Their curries and naans are good as well. DO NOT TRY CHICKEN BIRYANI or LAMB BIRYANI; it is not authentic biryani, it is rice mixed with chicken or lamb. The owner is a humble guy and very helpful
Me and brother go there atleast twice a week for last 3-4 months. We loved it up until today. I ordered our usual they had a new cashier so it took them a few mins to take the order. When my order was ready they realized they made a mistake on a drink and by the time I got that everything was cold. When they handed me the order they forgot more stuff and I was asking for it multiple times and they just ignored me. Finally they gave me my whole order and went back in the kitchen and started making fun of the way I talk and all. It's awful! I speak the same language as them so I knew it but if I didnt. This is so disgusting. I'm never going back there. I'm more than happy to provide details.
Most disgusting restaurant ever. I just ordered 2 tikka biryani's from them and my biryani literally had an insect in it. Needless to say how unsafe and unhygenic this is. Please NEVER NEVER NEVER ORDER FROM SIZZLER KABAB! I would give this - 10 but unfortunately have to give it 1 star because I need to post this review. Also to add to the DISGUST, when I called the manager to report about this incident, he told me and I quote "I don't know how this happened". Please for your own safety, never order from this place. I am posting the pictures for proof.
One of our favorite spots for late night food along Spadina. The chicken Tika and kebabs are the go to. Really great food at a very decent price. The staff are really friendly and quick. Want to come back for a larger order so I can try more off the menu.
One of my all time favourite restaurants in Downtown Toronto. I go to this restaurant every time I’m in downtown, and each time it gets better. I highly recommend everyone to try this place out you will not regret it, the food is made to a perfection and has a very rich taste which will leave you licking your fingers. Food prices are fair and not to high, has a good seating area and the hospitality is amazing, friendly staff and everyone is dry kind and with a big smile on their face. I would always go hear if I were hungry this is my top ans most favourite restaurant to go to.
I've seen improved consistency. Well made delicious food. Love the Tandooei Rotis. Dishes seem made to order as have to wait a while for order. Overall decent and well priced.
This place boasts fast service, flavourful food, decent portion size, amazing garlic naan, and is reasonably priced. Got enough for two people under 30$. Bonus is that it's open late so if you're wanting a late night food run then this is a reliable spot.
Didn’t try there combos (might be people found it better and hence its rated good)
We got 3 veg samosas and had to throw 1 on them as we didn’t like.
We got Jalebi.that too went into trash: (
I believe they use the leftover oil or something as bot Samosa and Jalebi had very strange oil smell.
Got Mango Lassi for my kid, he didn’t like it was too watery.my wife said it was the worst Mango lassi ever.unfortunately we had to throw it away as well.
I ordered chicken wrap.the flavour was good but the red onions were cut way too big, chunky pieces and they put too much of it.chicken was dry. I cant complain much for 5 dollar wrap that was actually quite filling. I would buy it again when I feel like I want cheap food at late night
Pathetic food and a bad restaurant. Food was bad the chicken pieces were like rubber and the butter chicken was like someone threw mushy chicken pieces in a gravy and the biryani was like rice with salt with messed up dry chicken pieces.the only thing i liked out of the 50 dollars that i paid for the whole order was the diet coke which i got from the fridge. It is a rip off for the worst quality of food that they provide. Please look out for other restaurant in downtown which would be better than this. If you think this is not a honest review go to any restaurant in downtown and then come here for food you will understand the difference. Thank you
This used to be the best Indian food. But sadly they've gone way down hill it would seem. Ordered my usual combo 11 (butter chicken and 2 naan) it comes out, looks like tomato soup with limp chicken in it. Tastes like tomato soup with some Indian spices added. Now a couple hours later it's coming back with a great vengeance and furious anger. Pretty sure that's the last time I eat there. So long Sizzler, you were a lot better not that long ago
Low price, Excellent food, huge quantities, and very good staff.the girl at the front greeted me with a smile and took my order. Got my food without waiting for long.
I got Chicken Tikka Biryani and the litchi juice.it was delicious.
Excellent quality of Food and very very good price. MILLION DOLLAR RESTAURANT FOR food lovers. One of best place in entire Gta in terms of services and quality food. Worth coming here
Food is really good. Like eating in Pakistan. Naans are fresh right outta the tandoor. Kebabs have authentic taste. Good job! And open late for all the late night cravings. Great small spot for real food!
