Skate Canada Brampton-Chinguacousy

I feel let down and disappointed by the unfavourable instructor and student ratio.
It’s been a month and I have never seen an instructor teach or help my daughter.
Most of the PA’s and instructors are seen chatting or sitting on the tables outside the skating area.
Waste of time and money

The expensive lessons are not worth the experience
Most of the program assistants are untrained and and unprofessional who are not interested in helping the students
Complete lack of ethics

Wonderful skating club, well organized, and the coaching staff is excellent. We have been with the club going on 8 years. If your child is looking to learn how to skate or to become a figure skater I would highly recommend it

I felt that it's time for me to write a review now which has been ovedue for a long time. My son was skating with the city of Brampton 6 or 7 years ago I can't even remember exactly. Time flies. Well, thanks to this coach at SCBC with her good judge of talent, she handpicked my son from the city's program back then and has been coaching as well as taking care of him ever since. My son is in the ice dance program right now and is progressing well. He also did solo before COVID and he was able to succefully land some double jumps such as the Loop and the Salchow. As a father, I still don't think that my son is exceptionlly talented in this sport maybe a little above the average and that's it. The SCBC coaches certainly know what they are doing and I've seen them come up with brilliant ideas in training all the time. So if my son can do that, I believe that many more boys and girls can do it too.

My daughter skated with the club for a number of years ans had a fantastic experience with the coaches and staff. We always felt welcome and were given lots of feedback on her progress

Heard a lot about CanSkates from my friends but got my daughter in just now. Amazing experience ao far. Admission process was seamless and online. Day 1 was very organized. I knew where i am going and had no issues finding the class and coach. Lots of instructors and very helpful and friendly. My daughter started liking it and have been very confident and vocal about skating now. Looking forward to see her progress and shine further

My son is currently enrolled in Skating 1A. The coaches keep ignoring him as he is on spectrum.they only coach only the ones who are little better. I am devastated and feel being let down. Not sure if I can file a complaint and if i do i will be heard or no.
