Sketchbook Comics and Games

Came here to pick up a birthday gift for my little brother-in-law. It's a well-organized, intimate shop with a good selection of classic comics.

I must say the owner of this location is an amazing gentleman. I love the fact that he carries a very large array of Dungeons and Dragons figurines compared to the other three places I believe that are here in St Catherines. I had a spare $1,000 I'd walk in there and clean them out

Store is fantastic, staff is fantastic. I never have a problem finding what I am looking for, and the crew are always more than happy to help.

This is my absolute favorite game store in town! Very open and inviting plus accepting of neurodivergent and lgbt+ individuals. I highly recommend!

The staff and store are amazing! Very kind and knowledgeable people who run fantastic events Even though there's other stores closer to me I always come here! Make sure to come here if you're interested in playing MTG, you won't be disappointed.

Good store. I've been around to a lot of comic book stores and this is among the more comfortable ones to be in. Not cluttered like some, decent amount of inventory and don't make you feel weird if you are just checking things out

Went her with my son to pickup a fortnite comic book. Staff was friendly and helpful and store was clean.

I have been here before many times however I recently started reading comics and at Sketchbook I was able to find full story sets for very reasonable prices. Great selection of comics, board games, Magic the Gathering cards and much more. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable the entire atmosphere of the store is chill and relaxed, 10/10 will be back.

Don’t trust their store hours. Sat here for 40 minutes waiting for them to open and ultimately left. No one answering the phone.

Edit: Came back same day at 2pm. Still no answer on phone and no one in the shop. Hopefully everyone is safe, but an update on your answering machine or note on the door would be appreciated.

Ended up going to a competitor to make my purchase.

I like getting my comics here:) they’re often playing a movie in a big tv, and the guy seems friendly. Comics single issues come bagged and boarded. Choice

Nice little game store. Very friendly owner helped me look up some games and we had a nice chat. Not your typical experience in stores these days.

Wanted to buy a board game as a gift here but I waited for 10 minutes after the opening time posted online and on the front of the store and the door was locked with no one inside. Disappointing as I was hoping to support but that’s just unprofessional!

Went there for Black Widow Comic Issues One thru 5 and Niagara Falls Comic Con ticket and Frightmare in the Falls tickets. Always greeted and helped with anything I needed:)

Good comic book store with a large selection of new issues. Not so much in the back issues but enough variety with the new to keep you satisfied.

Showed up on a Saturday at 4: 20 and the store was closed. The sign said they were open until 5 but the lights were off and the door was locked. It looked really nice inside, but I'd recommend calling before you go just to see id they're open.

Always a wonderful store. But if you are lucky enough to be helped by the exceptional trio of Terri, Amber and Noah then you are in for quite a hilarious and awesome time!

Geoff is awesome, the whole staff is great! Anything I want is either on the shelf or Geoff orders it in for me, Sketchbook is the ONLY comic store in the Niagara region that matters!

Great shop, lot of selection and reasonable prices. Helpful staff rounds out a pleasant experience.

The store has lots of new titles, a small back issue area and lots of trades. They have some table top games and a current selection for dnd. Staff was friendly and the dog that greated me at the door was awesome.

Sketchbook has a reasonable selection of comics and collectables. However, they do not seem to be very receptive to new Magic players. The staff did not offer to help me while I was in the store, instead staying on their phones. There were very few licensed products in stock, and there was not much enthusiasm for recommending individual cards either. Even though I really wanted to spend my money at a local shop, the staff here encouraged me to go online instead. Overall, my visit to Sketchbook was a poor representation of the Magic community.

Great store with a variety of comics, gaming and collectables. The balance of popular items is perfect as you don't feel like you are walking into a specific or one trick store.

Nice little comic store. The staff was great in helping my 9 year old son pick comics appropriate for his age.

Picked up a new set of dice and a graphic novel I've been looking for for months. Will definitely be back again:)
