I have been doing the electrician course at the Mississauga campus for the past three months. It has been an incredible experience, and Chris has been a great instructor. I would recommend this for anyone that is certain they want to pick up the trade, but feel they want to experience what it is like first.

I'm attending the Skilled Trades College of Canada's Electrician Pre-Apprenticeship at the Mississauga location, it's been great so far! Chris has been a great instructor, and as someone who had little to no experience in electrical work this program is amazing. Definitely recommended for anyone thinking of getting into the trades!

I went from zero knowledge to feeling very confident about stepping foot on the job site.
You will get what you put into this course, pay attention, take good notes, ask more questions.
Most important my teacher (Chris) he is an amazing human being even before being a teacher.talking about how good he is as a teacher he give the class his all and he share his work experiences a lot with us.personally I learned a lot from him. Thank you Chris

Taking the weekend course. Good program, very hands on. Instructors are very knowledgeable and give lots of real life applications.

STC was one of the best decisions of my life. I learned so much about construction that I didn’t know from the get go and the best part was that it’s all hands on. Also, major shoutout to the Home Renovations Instructor “Jeff ”. Stand up guy, really knows his stuff and honestly I’ve never had a better teacher in my life. And, if you’re there for the right reasons, you’ll learn so much that eventually gets you ready to be on a job site after you graduate.

Walked into the Electrical pre-apprenticeship with next to no knowledge of electrical. As of the time of writing this review, I can whole heartedly recommend STC for anybody looking to get a start in a skilled trade.

My instructor Chris has been an amazing instructor in the way that he relates the course material to real on the job experiences he’s had and informing us of what we’re to expect once we get onto a job site.

Once again, I would recommend STC to anyone looking to get into a skilled trades and I wouldn’t trust anyone with my education on trades more than them.

Best location available with some of the best teachers who don’t just teach for the money but they take the time and explain as many times they need to, to make you understand. And the best part is that there’s Tim Hortons right in front of the school. Alfi is the head of this location and he is the best support to have when your lost in any situations, he really give the best advice as he builds some great connections with all the students inside the school and outside of the school.

Great school to get into the trades. I’m a full time student and they really get you doing practical work. My instructor Chris Dias is great, and I feel like I am constantly learning. Would highly recommended for anyone looking to get into the trades.

Great place to learn the in and outs of residential and commercial electrical work. Gives you the skills and certifications you need to get your sponsorship as an electrical apprentice.

I had a great experience and would highly recommend. I took the plumbing program at Toronto East and my instructor Dave Price was the best, incredibly knowledgeable and kept the course to the point. Intensive and well structured, well delivered. Thank you Dave.

Best decision you can make to train for electrical or plumbing. I’ve greatly appreciated the electrical course taught by Chris Dias. Only covers the theory and code you need to begin working right away, the focus is on practical training and techniques used in the field. The price seems high, but only because it reflects the true cost, whereas similar schools do not provide tools or include necessary certifications (WHMIS, First Aid, Working at Heights)

Good balance of electrical theory, code work and hands on work in the lab to prepare you for your apprenticeship. The course moves fast as it’s only 3 months, so you gotta ask questions or keep up with the work on your own time of you fall behind. All said, this course will give you a good base of electrical knowledge to start you’re a apprenticeship with.

Anyone who want to know the trade of being an Electrician, STC is an amazing choice for you. Chris Dias is the teacher you should go with the course. He is amazing!

I joined STC with hopes of getting knowledge about plumbing so I could find a career opportunity for myself. From day one my Teacher / mentor Frank has been awesome when it comes to no only teaching but making the environment feel like a family space. He pushes not only myself but my classmates to understand and have fun learning day by day. I say that STC has definitely helped me learn and enjoy my time being here. Thank you!

Amazing hands on learning the teachers are very understanding and hard working they do anything they can for us to be the best we can be in what trade we choose to go into. I highly recommend it for anyone thinking to go into the trades

Great teaching staff in the classroom and in the labs. Very knowledgeable about applications of information learned in the course and applying them to the real world. Overall a great time so far, and definitely worth it.

I’m a person who loves learning but really hates school. After only 3 weeks in the electrical corse with Chris, I have learned more than my grandpa knew after spending his whole career in residential construction. If you want to get into a trade and you want to go far, I couldn’t recommend anywhere better than here.

I was uneasy attending a private college at first, but taking Plumbing with Frank was and is awesome and very beneficial, we experience aspects of the trade daily, atmosphere is positive, I’d definitely recommend this college for people who want consistent hands on experience. Franks a great instructor and my confidence is definitely gonna be up going into the work

Started the pre apprenticeship course for plumbing, in just over 3 weeks Frank has introduced me to so many different things about the plumbing industry. From the in class learning the plumping code to in shop doing hands on, frank gives me the confidence to know I’ll be able to make on the job.

Amazing teaching staff and classmates in the classroom and in the labs. Great school to learn what you’ll be doing in the real work force to get you ready.

Great school 100% worth the money. Very good program taught me a lot in a very short 3 months. I feel very confident in the trade and enjoyed every part of this course. The teachers are amazing and I would recommend this course to anyone who is seeking to learn about a trade.

Great school if you’re thinking of going into a trade, staff/instructors are polite and professional. Instructor Dan is a licenced Electrian and provided a lot of hands on experience and job site knowledge. He was Always readily available to answer questions. Also school provides tools associated with the trade to help you get started.

Came in knowing nothing to came out knowing how to wire a whole house. Skilled Trades College of Canada and their teachers/instructors are highly experienced in trades and teaches their students in an enjoyable manner with a lot of hands on experience. I highly recommend coming to STC if you know nothing and if your interested in doing trades, 100% worth it as long as you show interest and put effort into it.

This was honestly the best education I have hoped for, walked in knowing nothing about electricity and walked out with the knowledge and confidence to wire a full house by myself! Absolutely worth it! Great staff, students, and labs to practice whatever trade you are learning. Shout out to Dan, the best instructor you will have!

The best 3 months I’ve spent investing into myself.

I was lucky to share a class with an amazing group of guys whom all shared a common goal.

When any of us were stuck or confused we would help each other, and over the 3 months really created a strong bond.

I almost wish the course was longer because I’ll miss the experience and the journey.

Apart from my classmates, the main ingredient as to why the course was what it was, is credited to our/my teacher/mentor when it comes to the electrical course I attended.

Dan V, a great leader, knowledgeable, and patient with his approach with teaching. He allowed us to be ourselves, learn at our pace, and always a added bonus the dude is really funny and cares for his classes. The dude is forever goated in my books.

To do badly in this course, you either have to not care completely, or not apply yourself properly, but if your willing to put in the time and effort there is no reason as to why you shouldn’t walk away successful

I am currently half way through the plumbing course and I have nothing but good things to say about this school. The plumbing teacher Phil Cooper is outstanding. He has a lot of experience both in the trade and as a teacher which makes learning very easy. He is very patient to teach and ensures that every student in the class understands before moving to the following topic. Every day is half in class and half in the shop so you’re always applying the lessons to real life situations as you would on the job. Phil is great at being present in the shop to demonstrate how to properly do the projects as well as help when obstacles arise. All in all it has been a great experience for me at STC, the curriculum is really built to get you ready for a job in the trades world. You also get a full set of Milwaukee tools to keep! I highly recommend

Instructors are knowledgeable and they have lots of experience in the field which is gonna help a lot on learning the course. They gonna get you ready for work as an apprentice. Lot’s of hands on projects/activities. Im a student in this school and so far it’s been doing really good.
