Skintricate Tattoo Company

After long thought with having my first tattoo sadly I feel I need to give an honestly review. I had gotten a sharpie signature from a music artist and wanted it tattooed over. I placed a $50 deposit, and was told come in for 3PM. I did so and was not seen until about an hour later where then the tattoo was done in less than a half hour. I have time stamps I was done at 4: 28. In the end I was charged $225 on card and I gave a generous tip of $60 as I had some troubles in the end of the session which were tended to greatly I will say. Where the issue is, is that the tattoo lines are blotchy almost like the first press of a sharpie but throughout the lines now fully healed, I’m writing today this review and received the tattoo November 24th. On top of it not a week later I see on the Instagram stories “walk in special any design (mine or yours!) for $100” that is where I feel I was deceived as I was waiting forever and highly over charged for a half the expected quality tattoo. The matchup to the signature is fairly well done however it’s noticed where the artist decided to put their own thought into it even though it was established to connect one line and make it exactly as is.

Not as mad as I may seem about it though I’m a fairly unbothered person by many things but when it starts to unravel how much I was ripped off I do have an issue with that. I’m sure this will get the automated “sorry you feel that way! ” answer. Rather just get in contact for a fair re price negotiation of just $100 and obviously keep the tip so $160 total I feel is a more fair price not $285 total. Provided that if that’s not what happens another option for those who pay with Visa they are more than open to do a chargeback to Skintricate for things like this. So will update with the outcome!

(Do acknowledge that their piercings and tattoo designs are good but if you have your own creativity it’s most likely best to visit an actual higher end tattoo parlour) The people are all very nice as well! It’s just the price to quality that makes it an issue.

Updated edit: Upon reaching out to them via email I heard no response, I went into the location asking to speak with anyone who could be of any help, and was given the run around assuming they just didn’t want to deal with it professionally. Was told I would hear from them and to this day still never have. Looks to be that the original artist who did my tattoo is moving on from this place, more than likely was given a bad rep from being at that establishment. Not looking for anything now at this point besides to just let other people know they are extremely difficult to deal with when you have an issue. The establishment is run by unethical and unknowledgeable younger individuals who do not understand the moral concept of business and only want your money.

As a TRUE and successful business owner myself it is always known to provide the customer with the upmost respect and support they need and deserve at no matter the cost to make it right. YOUR CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE YOUR WHOLE BUSINESS ALWAYS.

I got a really cute helix for a good price and the workers were super nice! I also got a jolly rancher at thr end, which was good

I genuinely love this place so much! I first came here to get my nostril jewellery changed few months ago and today got both my earlobes pierced. Anna's amazing at what she does and the entire process is very comfortable. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a safe and good piercing!

The team at Skintricate deserves 5 stars and more for my stellar experience there. When I received a subpar piercing elsewhere, Anna and Maddy were happy to take the time to assess it and give me their professional insight as to what may have gone wrong and options to correct it. They were calm and super patient with my questions, and even as a walk-in on a busy afternoon, I never felt rushed. Two months later I came in for a piercing with Maddy, and her skill and bedside manner as a piercer is absolutely top notch. Out at the front desk, Madison keeps the energy in the waiting room upbeat with her endlessly cheerful nature. What a vibe, I cant wait to get my next piercing at Skintricate.

Hostile environment, was not able to work with me and gave me a completely different tattoo then i wanted and got yelled at when I said I didn’t like it.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff members. Very clean and tidy environment. It is a very small place, and too many people jammed into the tiny space.

Got my first tattoos here.everyone is so nice and friendly felt so comfortable and Hollywood is sick with it.

Very clean shop. The staff are friendly and very professional. The piercer made sure that my septum piercing was straight so that I'd be happy with the final results!
