I'm very happy with Sleep Country and their Guelph (Stone Road) store. From the moment I walked into the store, until the point where the mattress was delivered and setup, I have been happy. They are very easy to deal with and I didn't feel pressured by the sales guy at all. He was friendly, helpful and no pressure. I picked a Dormeo mattress and box-spring. I'm very happy with my purchase. I paid a few extra dollars ($30-35) for their "White Glove Service" and to me, it was worth it. They brought the new mattress right into the house and up to the bedroom. They unpackaged it all in the house which kept the mattress fresh and clean (it's snowing and muddy out right now/January 2024). Their delivery guys were great and took their boots off at the door without me asking (were a 'no shoes" house). I just really appreciated the way I was treated all the way through and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

Spent about 10 to 15 minutes waiting to talk to someone about buying a couple of pillows but no one seemed interested in helping customers. We weren’t even greeted. I won’t be going back to sleep country that’s for sure.

I ordered a bed frame online and it has been impossible to get an answer of when it would be delivered. Online agents can't tell me, I'm finally told it will be delivered and to expect a call that never comes, agents who tell me they can't answer because they "don't have the new system". I've now spoken to 5 people and still don't know if my bed frame is coming. This is not how to run a business! In the end the mattress came on time, which bumped things up a star.

Barb at Sleep Country helped me pick out the mattress of my dreams! She helped me keep everything within my budget and make sure that the mattress was extremely supportive for my very sore back, haha! We also managed to find me the best pillows there ever were! She made the whole shopping experience so incredibly fun and joyful and I'm grateful to have met her. I am so thrilled with my experience, I'll remember it for years to come:) Thank you!

They don't answer the phone, waiting on a delivery and have yet to receive a phone call with the delivery window. They're attentive when you're purchasing but once they have your money forget it. Won't buy from here again.

We bought a Cloud mattress, had the mattress for 15 days we have a 100 night satisfaction quarantee. The mattress is like a bowl, it sags in the middle. Put a board over the mattress and you can put your hand between the board and mattress. Went to the store now they are asking us questions they did not ask when we bought the mattress. Waiting for head office to make a decision. Mo faith in this mattress.

The staff at Sleep Country Canada Guelph are amazing. They went above and beyond for us and were so helpful and friendly. We are picky with our mattresses and I am so impressed with the level of service and willingness to help us find the perfect fit. We will be buying every mattress there going forward. Approximately two weeks ago my wife and I took up the challenge of buying a new mattress. Where should we go from here? Sleep Country of course. A reputable giant in the industry.

We were greeted by a charming salesperson named Dan and he patiently walked us through the entire process of testing and finally choosing the best mattress for our needs. He introduced headboard sets, pillows, and mattress covers that we excitedly agreed to purchase. Dan quickly went to work preparing the invoice, pronounced an amount and I paid without hesitation. We were dealing with Sleep Country, what could go wrong?
The delivery date was set for approximately two weeks later and my wife took time off work to be available on delivery day. We mapped out our existing sleeping arrangements accordingly and dismantled our current bed the day before our new mattress was set to arrive.

The delivery personnel seemed kind and helpful enough but I would have expected them to remove their shoes and/or apply paper booties (I think I remember a commercial about the booties from a while ago) because they had crossed over the grass to get to the front door as they had to park on the street. Neither option was selected. They propped open the storm door to bring in the mattress et al and didn't have the courtesy to return downstairs and close it after they were done.
Once the assembly began, it was noticed that parts were missing and the mattress cover Dan had so thoroughly remembered to give us the option to purchase was also missing. The delivery team began to point fingers at the Sleep Country sales team adding that " they know this model requires brackets" They did what they could and left my wife and I with the task of following up with the store we had purchased the items at. The store subsequently told us to contact customer service (A number was not provided) Once we found the customer service number, the representative taking our call, seemed confused as to why the store would have directed us to them because, as it was explained, they wouldn't know what brackets to order. Another call to the store. This time they ordered the brackets and scheduled another date for delivery and assembly, two weeks from the original date. I think I mentioned that we had disassembled our old bed the day before the first delivery date as I would assume most would do. You should never assume I guess? Our delightful purchase from an industry leader was starting to become stressful and inconvenient. I was shocked to find out that it would be another two weeks so I followed up with the store and they suggested that perhaps I could go by their location and pick up the missing parts and assemble them myself. Wow! If you hired a Painter who ran out of paint half way through the project but suggested that you could go get the paint and finish the project yourself even though he had been paid in full, would you be happy?

Then there is the question of our missing mattress cover. I was asked by the store upon my inquiry to see if it was on the receipt. Why? I was shown the mattress, the base and headboard, the pillows and the mattress cover and agreed to pay for all of them without question or hesitation. I didn't look at the invoice in the store and I don't think I should be asked to look at it now. We agreed with Dan on the purchase and paid in full. Should I not trust an industry giant to be able to fulfill an order? Should I have haggled over the price and then scrutinized the charges? I am trying to find out how we seemed to make solid decisions based on reputation, willingly paid whatever price was requested, and yet here we are two days after original delivery date still without the full order and still waiting two more weeks to perhaps be satisfied.

Will I be recommending Sleep Country to my friends and colleagues, absolutely not! I think I'll go buy some paint.

What a great experience this was. Even though my wife and I took forever to make a decision, the staff at this location couldn't be better. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and service minded. We couldn't be happier and will of course be back when it's time to get another mattress.

Do not buy from this store! There is a good chance you will not get your mattress, and the employees are no help at problem solving.
January 27th 2022- I attend the store and purposely picked out a mattress that I was assured is in stock and my credit card is charged immediately. I was promised the mattress will arrives at the store for me to pick-up on February 8th.
February 8th 2022- I arrive at the store with a family member who drove an hour, so I could use their trailer to pick up the mattress. The store advises me the mattress is not there and should be there between 6: 00 pm and 9: 00 pm. My family member and I go out for dinner and wait until 9: 00 pm, however the mattress never shows. No one even calls me to tell me this, I had to call back.
Several days later, I go into the store. I am assured that there was an issue with the delivery and the mattress will be there on February 15th.
February 15th 2022- I call the store and the mattress still isn’t there! The clueless employees cannot tell me where it is or why this is happening. No future delivery date is given but they say “It may be here tomorrow, but no guarantees”.
February 16th, the store is called again, and one of the employees answers the phone and says they will look into it and call me back. No call back is ever received. I am finally tired of dealing with the incompetence of the store and call customer service around 12: 00 pm. The lady says they are looking into it and will call me back. By 6: 00 pm, no call back was received, so I called customer service again. The lady promises me she will have some information for me soon and will call me back but no call back is ever received again!
February 17th, I call customer service again at around 10: 30 am. Finally, at 1: 30 pm, I received a call back and the “earliest” it will be at the store is the 21st. I had enough of the games and asked for a refund.
Store management and customer service are extremely poor!

The sales staff at the Stone Road location are excellent; however, their logistics/warehouse systems are a calamity! Our order was sent to our old address despite our new address clearly being listed on the receipt. The sales staff want to be helpful but can't reach the Warehouse over multiple days! Three days after our delivery date and there is still no plan to get us our product!

I faced a very unacceptable, unfriendly and improper behavior. The unacceptable behavior of the seller (an old man) ruined my day. I definitely not recommend it.

Mattress seems to be extremely poor quality, staff was short and unhelpful when I called to inquire about an exchange. I wouldn't shop here again. If you do buy here make sure its what you want because they won't help you with any warranty issues

Very very poor customer service, I also canceled my order and still I haven't received my money back. I dont know how hard is that to give the money back when you cancel the order, plus the whole staff is terrible but specifically the guy, name Austin. I asked him to cancel my order and he canceled it without asking me how did I pay and I am still waiting for my money, i called to store several time but there was no valid response whatsoever. I promise not to go there ever again, I hope atleast they return my money back soon.

The rudest people we have ever dealt with. The sales people were surprisingly rude.that's how rude they were! Bought 2 pillows for $170.they said they were queen size. They were smaller than standard once I got them out of the box. I went to take them back and he literraly laughed at me.said "you bought them.final sale". I'm not kidding.

Ordered online, had go to the store in person to pick a few things out. I wanted to give a big shout out and thanks to Joe and Austin who helped me choose some options I didn't know a theytthey existed, they had more selection in store then online, second night on my king size Simba and I just wish I talked to these guys sooner. If you ever want impeccable service and a great mattress ask for Joe or Austin.

Bought a high end mattress here with split box spring. Had a firm pillow top. Good brand, 10 year warranty. Under 5 years and the mattress springs are shot. We contacted them and went through the whole warranty process, sent everything they asked for. And they refuse warranty on their mattress springs because we forgot to use a mattress cover. Crooks when it comes to standing behind their product, buy elsewhere!

Very friendly welcome, when we came in. A knowledgeable sales guy helped us out. We ended purchasing a new Queen mattress. Also walking out of the store with our new mattress. Lots of product in stock and overall a wonderful bed shopping experience.

Never in our lives have we ever had the over the top amazing customer service that was provided to us at Sleep Country Guelph. Doug & Joe actually had me teary eyed in the store because of how they dealt with our issue. The resolve was totally unexpected. We will always be Sleep Country customers.

I purchased my new mattress from Sleep Country a couple of weeks ago. I shopped around at a couple other places beforehand but I felt most comfortable buying from here. The sales guy (I believe his name is Joe) really took his time to make sure that I found the best mattress for my "sleep type". My matress was delivered last week, and I look forward to sleeping in my slice of heaven every night. Literally, the best sleep that I've had in years. Even my dog loves it lol. I'll definitely be going back to get some comfy pillows to make bedtime even more enjoyable!

Always great deals and supportive staff. Bought 3 dog pillows this last visit and it was a great decision. They unzip to wash and they feel so nice. The price was so low! The dogs keep bouncing from one to another. Very happy pups. Thanks sleep country

I purchased 4 beds from Sleep Country for an AirBnb, including headboards and duvets. Our sales person Doug did an excellent job explaining our options and getting us a great deal! It didn’t take long. He was also able to accommodate our delivery date too! Thank you Doug!

WORST customer service ever! When I asked for help it was made clear that I was imposing on the retail associate doing paperwork at the desk. She was very aggressive, offered zero help and couldn't wait to get back to her desk. There was no one else in the store. It's a huge mystery how this place makes any money? Stay away!
