My girlfriend and i met recently with salesperson Sarah at the dufferin and lawrence location. I met with her a second time. Her product knowledge was absolutely amazing! In addition her customer service skills and recommendations were second to none. Despite that i nomally deal with another sales person at another sleep country location i was almost tempeted to buy from her right then and there. But as a former salesperson myself i believe in being loyal to only one salesperson. What impressed me the most was she didn't just say this mattress is for you but she explained in detail why this mattress was for me and not another one i was considering. The only negative thing i can say was what she recomended was a bit too firm for me being a side sleeper. However being a guy over 250 lbs i can understand why she did. I just hope i can get another exchange now based on sleep country's comfort guarantee as this mattress is causing me hip pain.

Their commercial says it all: Why buy a mattress any place else? The "sleep expert" was tremendously knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Ordered a mattress, sheets and pillows - all delivered at precisely the right date and time. Been over a month now and sleeping better than ever!

The guy on the sales floor back in June (older man whose name starts with an M) helped me so much!
I came in with severe back pain but looking to more window shop to compare prices with The Brick next door but instead he quickly won me over with his kindness and knowledge. I have scoliosis and not many people understand my condition but he did.
He helped me find the PERFECT mattress at a great price. It's December, now and I still LOVE my mattress. I also haven't dealt with mattress related back pain since buying this. My previous one was from IKEA and NEVER AGAIN.

Do not buy from here, terrible service. We bought a new mattress, or rather TRIED to. We purchased it on Friday evening. The transaction came through on my credit card but apparently they had a glitch in their system and the payment was reversed. I called 4 days later, after I confirmed with my credit card company that the charge was reversed. They tried to process it over the phone, it didn't work. They called me back later to try again and it worked. Then they called me a MONTH later saying that the payment hadn't gone through. Credit card company showed that it had gone through. Sleep country refused to accept it. I had to fight the charge on my credit card. I've been back and forth with them for a month about this stupid mattress. Save yourself the headache, buy from literally anyone else.

The salesmen who was “helping” me was extremely abrasive, talked down to me and made me extremely upset. Left the store as soon as I could, won’t ever be returning.

I bought a tempurpedic mattress & adjustable base & mattress and pillow protectors here over a year ago. Because of the price, I was not considering buying this brand at all until I walked into this store. They had an excellent sale on (the home show) that wasn't advertised as far as I am aware. I was extremely undecided so they allowed me to postpone shipping & then to switch which mattress I was getting. I ended up going with a tempurpedic model that wasn't at this particular location - I tried out the mattress at another Sleep Country store. I spent way more $ on a mattress and base than I had intended, but it was 100% worth it as the mattress is excellent quality and pressure relieving. I have back issues so the choice of mattress was quite important to me. The sales clerk originally directed towards a different adjustable base but am glad I did my own research before purchasing because the tempurpedic base is designed to be lightweight. (I can slide my bed and mattress a few inches without any assistance.) I did not have a good delivery experience - the folks delivering the mattress took the mattress out of the box before they got up to my unit. The bag got torn. The mattress had dirt on it (from the parking garage/elevator). The delivery guys were rushing - they hardly gave me the time of day - and didn't leave the instruction booklet for the base or even cut off these red plastic tags from underneath the adjustable base. But I'm not deducting points for this, because sleep country made it right - they sent another mattress & recompensed me for the inconvenience. I was initially not sure that I'd be happy with my purchase as the mattress does give off a strong chemical smell & I have chemical sensitivities. I couldn't sleep in the same room as the mattress at first. It took months for the smell to disappear completely but it did eventually go away. In the end, I'm happy with my choice. And I definitely got a good deal & appreciated all the assistance from the sales team.

The store at Hillcrest mall offered excellent customer service. I dealt with Don and Elise, both were excellent to deal with. Highly recommend this location.

Will lie to you for the sale and not mention how warranties work. Stay away. Purchased my burden 3 years ago.

Never in my life have I ever experienced what I went through at this location. I walked in on August 8th and around 5pm there was one person working which was Mohammad. There were a few people in the store so I patiently waited to get his assistance. When he finally became available he approached me very frantically and asks “what do you need what do you want” a little taken back by this I asked him for some info on the bloom mist mattres and if he could give me a price including taxes and what not he replied with “ you have a phone don’t you? The price is on the side your phone has a calculator” by this point I was furious but desperate for a mattress as soon as possible. I purchased the mattress as much as I did not want to give him my sale and he promised me delivery for Wednesday August the 12th and I had asked him several times if this was guaranteed as I would have to request the day off to accept delivery he assured me it would be there. Today August 11th I hadn’t received a phone call so I called and was told my delivery was moved to Sunday August 16th I advised him that this was unacceptable that I was not contacted and I had booked the day off already his response “ what do you want from me” I advised him I deserve some sort of compensation or my delivery for when it was promised he laughed at me mocking me on the phone and then again asked me what I wanted from him furious I advised him I was coming in for a refund for how disgusted I was with his customer service he said oh well and hung up the phone on me. When i went in for the refund he tried to smooth things over by saying he had called me to tel me about the change of date but I never answered. I told him I had no missed calls and then he called me a liar and tried to show me something on his computer i wasn’t having it I demanded my refund and walked out. Needless to say you should not shop at this location they do not know what customer service is and it is sad to see that sleep country has this horrible person representing there company.

Hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. This man was so rude that I had to go home immediately, pull out my laptop and write this review. It’s shocking to me that this particular branch is still open.

Went in looking for a box spring for same day pickup, and they had one queen sized box spring, how lucky! We loaded it into our pickup truck and left. Half an hour and we were good to go.

Wow. Never had a better bed in my life. The salesrep was informative and helpful and addressed my wife's scoliosis. She's had back pain for years. We have went through 2 mattresses in 3 years and were always told to go hard.

Fortunately he took the time to really listen and explained how we could improve her sleep. Im sleeping better too because she isn'as miserable as before.

Very bad customer service. It was my first time sleep country and it will be the last because of that sales person that worked today. I was looking for pillows. He was so attentive at first and the moment he realized we are not going to buy he just disappeared. Plus he made fun of us by saying "cheap ones are at Costco you can buy them from there". Very disappointing. Nothing like their commercials. They lost my business forever.

Went in to buy a new mattress with my wife. Store was old, selection was far smaller than expected. Salesperson wasn’t all that knowledgeable and focussed on price point more than the product, features and best fit for us. We were extremely disappointed with the mattress after a week of tossing and turning. We went to a different location to arrange an exchange and were thrilled with the customer service, selection and spent significantly more for model that we chose after a full “comfort fit. ” I would recommend Sleep Country but not this location
