Chris is awesome! He helped me figure out what mattress I need and its smooth sailing from walking into the store and to delivery of my purchase. Great price! He arranged to have my old mattress picked up for a small fee.all together it was an excellent service and experience. Quality mattress and better sleep for us now. Thanks Chris!

We had recently purchased a great Tempur pedic mattress from Sherway Gardens. We happened to be shopping in the area, so we went into this Sleep Country (401 Weston) to look at a base. Chris spent a great deal of time educating us on the various types available. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us. He spent time searching on the computer to find the most suitable one for us, keeping in mind the functionality as well as the cost. We are very pleased that we ended up with an amazing adjustable base. Thank you, Chris!

Really disappointed with the service, and in particular, with Chris from the sales team. My father purchased an $800 mattress in person and was told that with his purchase, the mattress would be delivered and his old mattress taken away - both for free….

When two guys came with the truck to deliver our new mattress today and we had the old one ready to go, all of a sudden we are being asked for $56 to take our old mattress away.

The two delivery guys confirmed this exact miscommunication happens often when they deliver mattresses. It’s appalling that my father was straight up lied to his face and was misled about this charge. It’s even more appalling that this isn’t an isolated incident, as revealed by the delivery drivers.

We sent the mattress back for refund and are never shopping at sleep country again.

Let this location be your first to visit. They (Steven) will understand your needs and offer options/items you would not otherwise even know. You'll leave more than happy with the decision you make. Why go anywhere else.

I love my new Beautyrest Unity Lux Ocean mattress, Tempur-pedic pillow and microfiber sheets! Steven S.was super helpful and patient and led me in the right direction with great questions after trying each mattress. Highly recommend!

So I moved recently and decided to buy from this location. We dealt with the area manager Steven Solomon who's was initially very helpful. Delivery guys showed a few days later. They showed up later than the time they gave me. After unwrapping the frame and headboard they realized bolts missing. Unable to complete the installation they just told me all we do is deliver and that I would have speak customer service from that point. Steven Solomon was no longer enthusiastic to further help since the sale already occurred. Got the run around from customer service with no help or avenue to further complaint. I bought Canadian and got the worst experience ever. Satisfaction was not satisfactory. Basic customer service was challenging and difficult. This company does not stand by its commitments or core values.

I wanted to surprise my brother who recently moved with a gift of a new bed. I had a budget and look in mind so I walked in to my local sleep country. Why did I choose sleep country you may ask? Because I wanted to buy Canadian and friends told me of their quality. Steven Solomon, the smooth talker locked me in a deal that I also liked and met my budget. He said you need to put a deposit in so you don't loose the deal and sale because "we never know what will happen". They know exactly what happens in their stores so.that was a way to get you in the door.
My original pick was not going to be ready for a delivery but in a very later date so since I wanted the bed for my brother asap I go back to the store and reorder another more expensive bed set instead with a closer delivery date. That order was delivered on June 28th with a crucial piece missing. Couldn't be assembled at all. I called CS on the 29th and they told me go back to the store. I go back to the store and Steven says it's a CS issue or a manufacturer issue. I just want a solution and the product I bought. None of that was attentively cared for but rather a tossing blame occurred between store (steven) and CS. I felt unappreciated nor valued as a client in front the "store mgr Steven". Maybe it was my black hijabi skin. A person can only wonder!

I decided to go elsewhere and I asked for my $ back to CS. Cs says we can't refund you because we already delivered. We can only exchange. I went back to the original pick and Steven said they will have them in stock after July 2nd. It took 3 days for CS to tell me that the manufacturer cannot produce the piece that you are missing so an exchange would have to occur. I had to reorder through another sales rep this time with unguranteed date of July 17th. No apologies!

The surprised was ruined, the lack of accountability and responsibilities from all sleep country personnel was very shocking to me. CS couldn't even offer me an avenue to complain as a unsatisfied client. Can't even speak with supervisor or superior. The fact that I am calling every time and no one calls me back or even initiate to call me in order to solve this situation is astonishing. Very poor customer service. No one knows what going on because they don't read notes on file.
Until this day I have NO clear cut solution. No difference paid back to me between the set delivered versus the one that was reordered. There is a difference in price and forget about being compensated.

I wanted to rate 0 star but couldn't. This was my worst service experience!

With all the options and varieties to choose from, I had no idea where to start when looking for my new bed. My old bed was terrible to say the least, leaving me with back and neck pains almost daily. Luckily I met the manager Steven at the weston road location and my worries were gone. He clearly explained everything to me and took his time to find out what type of mattress/pillows were best for me. After about a week with my new bed, all back/neck pains are gone and I am sleeping better than ever. Thank you for the great service! Highly recommended

Recently purchased mattresses from Simon, extremely polite and helpful in assisting us with the decision which was best for us. We had purchased a lifestyle bed a few years back and we were converting from King to 2 Twin XL's for a more comfortable sleep. Delivery was on time and well executed. The deliverymen didn't know how to sync our lifestyle bed from one to two independent frames. Called Customer Service who weren't extremely helpful, however, when I called the Store, Steven answered and he was so polite, extremely helpful and apologetic for the experience from Customer Service. He stayed on the phone trying to walk me through the settings, In the end he emailed me the instructions and when my husband returned home, we were able to sync the lifestyle frames ourselves. I wanted to post to let everyone know that I found the service from Sleep Country at Crossroads, by both Simon and Steven, to be professional and go the extra mile to ensure their customers are satisfied.

They try to sell you defected beds in hopes that you won't notice. It's taken over 2 months to get the first bed replaced only to receive another bed today with the same issue, only it's worse. They love trying to sell beds with broken outter support. In both beds the support on the side of the bed was not glued on and would cave inward when sat on. It basically sages almost as low as the bottom of the bed. 2 beds they claim were perfect condition. Never again will I buy from sleep country. This doesn't even include the experience with the sales people and customer support. I told the guy I wanted sag coverage, but proceeded to sell me a discounted bed with no coverage. At no point after talking about the importance of sage coverage did he mention that this particular bed didn't have any sag coverage. Never again.

Amazing service - Steven Solomon made the entire process so easy for me. I highly recommend working with Steven but everyone in the store was great to work. Such a great team who took their time to help me and answer all my questions.

Throughout the process of redoing our entire bedroom, my wife was able to magically figure out everything online.with one exception - the mattress! What a crazy world of online reviews and options!

Thankfully, we got introduced to Steven at Sleep Country. His depth of knowledge, level of care & service, and desire to ensure we left with what was best for us as a family was incredible.

I honestly didn't know that mattress shopping (especially in the world of COVID) could be enjoyable - but Steven found a way to make it so!

So excited to have our new mattress (with delivery being done within 3 days of ordering!)

Amazing experience. This is the place to shop if you want better sleeps!

Helpful, professional, friendly service that found a good option that was within our budget. A little bit of the "i'm giving you a special deal (that I almost certainly offer everyone else) " treatment, but tempered with the fact we got an actually good price on an actually good mattress with no attempts to outright upsell us out of our price range.

Fully recommend.

I have bought all my mattresses and pillows at this location for over 20 years. Needed to replace my worn mattress but was a little hesitant given some of the recent reviews. Had an online chat with Kim, of Sleep Country who uses this location and decided to go back. Was I ever impressed with service from David Goldberg who was the salesperson at the time, turned out he was the District Sales Manager who was there working in the store, WOW. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional who did not try to sell a mattress until he fully understood my needs. I ended up with a fantastic deal on a floor model Tempur-Pedic discontinued but top of the line from last year. I have back issues and since it arrived I can hardly wait for night to arrive to use it. The service in store and at delivery top notch. Went back today for new pillows for the mattress and another great salesperson Jim helped me out. As far as I am concerned service is everything and this is a great location, I would never go anywhere else for a mattress or pillow.

Visited this sleep country location a couple times while price comparing mattresses.very helpful staff, extremely diverse selection at multiple price points.we ended up purchasing our mattress here and some pillows.

I would stay away from the mattress encasements they sell as we purchased this on the recommendation of the staff and it was completely useless and never once stayed on the mattress.

We replaced it within a week and threw away the one from sleep country.

Bought my mattress here and my daughters mattress most recently. Great service, the staff were great and seemed to understand out needs. We will buy mattresses there in the future. (Weston and 401 location specifically)

Coming here in three months ago for buying new pillows due to my old uncomfortable pillows that cause my lower neck injury. The new pillows, The Polar Tropic are finally much comfortable and very helpful to improve and prevent my lower neck injury when sleeping on it. The staffs at Sleep Country were very helpful what I was looking for it. Great location! Parking can be busy and challenge.

My experience at this sleep country was terrible. My husband and I went in on Sunday to look for pillows but the associate serving us seemed to busy to take care of us and basically threw 4 pillows our way and walked off. After asking the price range she gave us $99-169 and walked off again. At that point I picked up my coat and left.
Today I went back in to purchase a dog bed that was in a large box of dog beds marked $35.95.
The same associate who served me came over to help with the dog bed and after ringing it through told me that would be $119.00. I said your bin says $35.95.and she said not this one.
Another associate came over and showed me the one for $35.95 and when I said no thanks.he made a comment that it's cheaper than Walmart.
Really Sleep country? Does he think I can only shop at Walmart.
Makes me think.why buy a mattress any where else. BECAUSE I CAN.

My overall experiencing with visiting the “… why buy your mattress anywhere else “ store… was terribly disappointing – essentially, I would REALLY buy it anywhere else besides Sleep Country! There are some down right sleazy and tricky sales/marketing things going on with these mattress stores, especially this one on Weston Road.

Myself and my soon to be wife visited this store on Sunday and spent almost 2 hours looking for the perfect mattress and bed frame for us. We wanted a King Sized mattress and frame - we intended to purchase it on the same day so we could have a new bed for the Holidays. The Sales person by the name of "John" spent A LOT of time talking about each mattress and was generally helpful as we tried a couple of different beds, firmness (soft vs.hard), material (coil vs.foam), etc.
When it came to finding us stock of the mattress we wanted (it was one of their recommended, Serta, brands), "John" found a mattress that was previously returned from a previous customer and they offered it to us for $1900 (apparently retail this mattress costs upwards of $3500). I had asked for details about this mattress to know if this was used by the previous customer but they could not tell me the details. Nor could they tell me how long they had it for. Apparently they “clean” and “recondition” the mattresses. They also offered a brand new mattress for $2300. We then asked about a frame and they had one on sale for "$1400" - apparently the only remaining unit they had was supposedly bought by a customer who put a deposit down but did not end up buying it. We also wanted to purchase 2 pillows, so we were looking at spending about $4000 at this store.
I was initially uneasy about buying a "used" mattress; I also realize that the mark up on mattresses is quite high from a lot of research and information from many of my friends and family (somewhere in the neighbourhood of 40-50% so I know there is some negotiation room). Needleless to say, "John", did not want to negotiate saying things like "we are a publicly traded company; we cannot give anything or lower the price what so ever". I then proceeded to ask if there is anything else he could do. He proceeded to try to upsell me spillage warranty if I purchased a mattress cover - essentially their "mattress" warranty was $100 and they would give this to me free (a warranty for just for cleaning anything that may leak through the cover). Why would I get warranty if I purchase your $200 mattress cover?

All in all, this was an EXTREMELY frustrating experience because these guys do not negotiate, nor are they competitive. They change their names of the mattresses and products from other box stores (such as the Brick or Leon’s) so you cannot price match them. They always seem to be find a mattress on “clearance” or “returned” that they can sell you for a lower price so you feel like you are getting a “deal”, when you aren’t. Stay far away and take your business somewhere else.

Most mattresses are made from the same materials; do not buy their marketing.
