Slickers County Ice Cream Ltd

Probably one of the best places for ice cream in Ontario. The young girls working there were efficient and friendly. A must visit when in the Picton or Bloomfield areas.

Slickers recently changed owners - but I'm happy to report that they haven't messed with the original recipes. Campfire is a classic, but so many other flavors are spectacular.
If you like tropical fruits, don't skip the passion fruit - it's better than we had in Hawai'i or the Caribbean.

Delicious artisan icecream. I really enjoyed the Apple pie flavor with chunks of apple pie in it as well as the peanut butter and honey.

I had their campfire ice cream and OMG! It was so delicious! It was just the perfect amount of ice cream and roasted flavour. YUMMM! Can't get enough of it!

Unique flavours and friendly staff. Tiny shop, no inside dinning but there was an abundance of seating surrounding the shop. I would recommend the campfire flavour - they somehow were able to capture the distinct smokiness of a campfire.

Just tasted the "CampFire" flavor and it's adictive. If you haven't tasted you have too. It's a MUST.

2nd time attending Slickers. Great homemade icecream, good selection! Street parking can be iffy at times but it's well worth the visit.

Delicious ice cream with unique flavours! What we tried:

- Rhubarb and ginger: refreshingly gingery and tart from the rhubarb!

- Cookies and cream: really good classic and nice pieces of cookies in a creamy vanilla base.

- Apple pie: creamy vanilla ice cream with chunks of apple pie!

All really good flavours, I especially loved the rhubarb and ginger one!

They have 7 red Muskoka chairs around with a picnic table with a nice umbrella for shade.

So long story here. Had their peanut butter and honey ice cream 2 years ago. My group has talked about this ice cream for literally 2 years. We came to town again today and stopped by. We called ahead to make sure they had that flavour. We spoke with the owner who personally drove over a tub to make sure we had it. Slickers peanut butter and honey ice cream is the best ice cream in Canada.

I mean even if your allergic to peanuts I would still try it. It would be a great way to go. Stop reading this and go get some slickers ice cream.

You have got to go to this ice cream shop. It's in such a cute quaint town. Too many flavors to choose from, I had a double scoop I chose the peanut butter with Honey sooo delicious loved the taste paired it with coffee toffee soo delicious as well. Had it in a waffle cone with chocolate and score dipped. Fantastic!
My boyfriend had the chocolate orange wow great flavor and paired it with the Amazing campfire Wow Amazing, Delicious, still my mouth is watering from these flavors. Thank you for a great ice cream cone.

Best Ice cream so far in Ontario Canada. Had Ice cream last year in Rome and Naples Italy.
Slickers are using Quality Ingredient, which is noticeable when you taste the Ice cream. Sweentnes and Flavors are balanced well. I hope that they will keep up their quality for the future customers.

This ice cream is so delicious! It's my second time here but my friends first. I got the raspberry white chocolate and she got 2 scoops of passion fruit and apple pie! Fabulous flavors + Fabulous customer service= YUM! They even included a little vanilla for my Pup!

Great ice cream. Interesting flavours. Choices were a bit limited.maybe because it's Monday. Try Passion Fruit, Lemon Chiffon, Key Lime Blast or Jazzberry for a taste treat.

Family and friends usually make it a point to get an icecream cone during the hot summer months when going through Bloomfield.
The ice cream is authentic in the signs displaying "home made".
Expect to pay a few dollars more.
It's worth it.
The buildings of yesteryears surrounding the small tourist town are well maintained and colourful.
If there is a point that has not been addressed within the reviews, it would sound like, "where do we park? "
Frustrations have had quite a few potential customers drive away very upset with parking problem which has been the same 25years plus.

Friendly service, great tasting locally made ice cream, a nice selection of seating outside to watch folks coming and going down the street.

This is the third year we have come here! The ice cream flavours are amazing, especially the campfire flavour, which tastes exactly like toasted marshmallows!

Perfect ice-cream spot! They have the most delicious flavours and I highly recommend the campfire, cafe latte, and apple pie flavours.
The shop was clean and safe (followed proper pandemic protocols). Highly recommemd

We tried coconut, campfire and vanilla, caramel brownie. All were excellent, I really loved the flavors. They tasted very fresh and the staff were amazing. They were helpful with the questions.

I recommend this to everyone who visit sandbanks provincial park.

Grab and go during covid lockdown was smooth, and everyone was very happy with the flavour they picked - a minivan full of satisfied kids, parents, and grandparents. The raspberry and white chocolate was bright and delicious.

I'd give it 4.5 if I could. Interesting flavours that have that "real" cream taste. Not crazy sweet, with tons of food coloring and gimmicks, just quality ice cream.

The best ice cream in Ontario, possibly Canada by a long shot. This place is worth a detour; their staff is amazing and their flavors are unmatched. An unparalleled chain—highly recommended

I'm so glad we stopped here. Ice-cream was amazing. There were 25 of us and we tried a lot of flavours. Not a single one was disappointing.

Small ice cream parlour with huge flavour! I tried the Rhubarb Ginger, with a second scoop of Jack Daniel's with Chocolate, in a waffle come. They were both so flavorful, and absolutely delicious! They girl who was serving was happy, prompt, and friendly, very impressed! I'll be stopping again when I'm in the county:)

Great selection of flavours. Prices are a bit steep, but remember you're paying for home-churned quality. The location is small, and popular so expect a bit of a wait. Staff are friendly and accommodating.even when "that parent" brings 65 screaming kids in at once.

They only make a limited amount of ice cream so get there early!
We were there around 1pm and half the selections were sold out.

My son and I love your sorbets the strawberry and watermelon are absolutely delicious. The campfire icecream is one of our favorites aswell. Thanks for the great treats:)

Some of the most delicious ice cream we've ever had! The campfire flavor tasted EXACTLY like a toasted marshmallow with just the perfect amount of smokiness!

Best ice cream I've had, old style using real cream which is super fattening and gives a creamy mouth feel as real ice cream should have. Highly recommended, billwinki and I's stop when in the area. Both locations are equal in taste, Picton has indoor seating.

Ice cream is delicious and the flavors are good but by the time we went (4pm) they had sold out of most.

Great experience! Was there about a week ago and staff was amazing, young girl named “Sam” (I think, I asked briefly when we were leaving!) was amazing with my kids, let them try a few different flavours and was very kind and helpful! Will go back soon purely for the good service!

For the first time ever, we went mid-afternoon and there was only 1 choice of ice-cream and that didn't appear to the kids. Gave them another chance a dY later, and the usual amazing options were all available.

Very delicious icecream! There was a huge lineup for good reasons. Of course you’re allowed to sample some flavours before committing. I got jazz berry and passion fruit, and it was so creamy! A unique kind of creamy. Anyway, if you’re in the area then definitely give this place a try.

We heard a lot of hype about Slickers.and now we know why! The ice cream is divine and the quantity was perfect. I had the raspberry white chocolate, my husband had chocolate and my daughter had campfire. It is worth the wait in line. Friendly staff and patrons enjoying a lovely summer night.

We’ve been in the area for four days and have gone to Slickers every single day. SO GOOD! Love the original hand crafted flavors, there’s a new assortment every time. Very friendly service, the space is small so do not let a line outside deter you! Do yourself a favor and get a scoop of Campfire with a scoop of Chocolate, tastes just like frozen s’mores.

HANDS DOWN the BEST ICE-CREAM shop! Their Jazzberry and Honey Peanut Butter flavour was so good! Going back tomorrow for more before leaving PEC!

This is such a tasty and adorable ice cream shop on Prince Edward County! We went on a hot, sunny day, so it was pretty busy. I had the Campfire ice cream, which was INCREDIBLE. It has the awesome taste of just the right amount of ash, which I love because it reminds me of summer.
