I had a 2019 pink Macbook that had severe water damage. The person helping me was quick and assessed the damage quickly. I appreciated it as I needed my laptop to be fixed ASAP because I was starting school. He gave me the best quote out of all the places I called and was friendly. I recommend coming here for water damaged laptops.

He fixed my black screen, the cables was just loosen and he connected them. It was free service I liked it.

I recently used SM Laptop Repair services, and my overall experience was a mix of positives and negatives. On the positive side, the service was fast, and the technician I dealt with was polite throughout the process. However, there were some notable drawbacks that affected my experience.

The initial diagnosis provided over text messages turned out to be incorrect. This resulted in the unnecessary ordering of a new keyboard, which, as it turns out, was not needed in the first place. This error led to an unfortunate expenditure on my part, as well as additional, unnecessary trips to the repair shop.

While I appreciate the speedy service and the courteous attitude of the technician, the initial misdiagnosis and the subsequent inconvenience it caused left me somewhat dissatisfied with my overall experience with SM Laptop Repair. Improved accuracy in diagnostics would greatly enhance their service.

The technician is amazing, I had a trackpad issue where I broke the clip from the motherboard and was to create one from scratch to replace it.

He showed me the repair process with his multimeter to show that all the pins were good and trackpad was working again.

I will suggest everyone to visit here first before going to an expensive repair shop.

First time going to a computer repair, so can't really compare to other services and pricing. Just chose this place because of the reviews and was not disappointed, he was very friendly and efficient. Came in for keyboard and battery replacement for an old mac air (2014ish) which came out to be 280. Looked online, the parts are about 65 for keyboard and 90 for battery. So I am guessing around 100 for labor, which sounds about right. I was going to replace the battery myself but found out for the keyboard you have to take apart the whole MacBook, which is risky without the right tools/knowledge. He did it in 24 hrs, and told me he cleaned the inside as well. Would definitely recommend, and will be coming back if I have other repairs. Also if you choose to come here, preferably bring cash

I had broken hinges on my laptop. Everyone else told me to buy a new one, but this gentleman was able to fix it and for very reasonable price. Also, since I am out of town, he did it while I was waiting. Thank you for great work and excellent service.

An excellent service. Dewan (the shop owner and tech repair guy) was very nice and was able to tell us the cost and time for the repair right away. He already had the right part in his shop for the repair of my Surface Pro 6. He was able to get the repair done in less then a day, and the service was very efficient! Highly recommend!

Long story, but basically, I dropped orange juice on my laptop. He was supposed to replace my keyboard and simply clean the inside of the laptop. Instead, he messed it up more, and tried to charge me for it.

When I went to pick it up, firstly the keyboard was all sticky and not working, but he said by using it it'll become better (it has NOT). SECONDLY, he said the battery does not work anymore and he tried to charge me $150 to fix it.
I took my laptop to Apple to make sure, but the Apple employee informed me that the battery was fine, but that the person did not put it in properly (and must have been on purpose). NEXT, the Apple employee informed me that the guy LEFT A NOTE IN THE LAPTOP effectively voiding my Apple Care, to force me to go back to him to "fix" my battery (just putting it back in the correct way).
I called this man multiple times trying to work out a solution, and he just kept making up excuses (first he said he would NEVER leave a note, then when I said I saw the note at Apple, he changed his story to saying he leaves a note for "warranty" purposes). Then he said that the battery must have dried up on its own from the orange juice and started working, to which I replied: I paid you to clean it, so that means you did not clean it properly (and this is when he paused for a few moments before yelling that he was tired and did not want to argue with me). In addition, the Apple employee informed me the battery was simply disconnected (which must have been done on purpose). When I called back to ask him about that, he said that he must have disconnected it for safety purposes on purpose - but still wanted to charge me to have it reconnected!
This man kept creating more and more excuses.
I paid $250 to clean my laptop and have the keyboard fixed - he did neither.
When I mentioned that I was going to leave a negative review to warn people from his place, he said it was "blackmail. " And then he left me a text saying "Don't call me again. What ever you want do it. "

So if you want someone to scam you, ruin your laptop, and lie to you all for the price of $250 - this is the place to go. If you want your electronics fixed, go somewhere else!

I found this place by luck was going to the shisha shop next door.

I have QC20 Bose that I believe has an issue with the audio jack and couldn’t find a place to fix I thought it’s a hopeless case.
I still haven’t received my headphones but he is going to try and fix it with a very reasonable price PLUS if it didn’t work he won’t charge a thing.

I will strongly recommend this place for repairing your computers. My computer power button was not working and I had an exam at the end of the week. When I told the owner that I am a student and need the PC ASAP. He put other works away and fixed my PC the same day I picked it back from him. He also gave me very good discount.

I went there to repair my hp laptop, the motherboard was faulty, they replaced the motherboard for a very low price and my laptop is still working perfectly since then for a year and half now so far. It was a great experience, because of the friendly, helpful and informative service that I received there.

I called this gentleman with regards to a broken keyboard that needed to be replaced. Was told, over the phone, based on info that I told him over the phone, that it would cost $50 and 30 minutes. I didn't register that it was "too good to be true".
First problem was he had the wrong part. No big deal. Just longer waiting time. But nothing to complain about.
When he had the part in, I gave him my laptop and got it back with a new hole in it! I didn't get a phone call confirming that I was okay with this. Therefore my best guess is that he couldn't get my keyboard to sit flush, so he put a screw in my laptop to hold it down (I didn't get to ask him personally because my boyfriend picked up my laptop).
My laptop still functions perfectly normally. The keyboard is functioning. But the result of my experience with this gentleman is that I have the ugliest, grossest, most offensive screw keeping my keyboard in place that is NOT AT ALL proprietary and that wasn't there before. My anguish lies in the possibility of someone else doing a better job but it being too late at this point. I could probably call and get my $70 back. Seems frivolous at this point. All I feel okay about doing is leaving a really bad review and crossing my fingers that this doesn't happen to anyone else.
