I had the pleasure of being helped by Catherine and Minoli! These wonderful ladies helped me through the process of renting an office space so I can start working for myself!
These two had me smiling and giggling the whole time I was with them, even while going through paperwork!

As much as this place is secured and clean, the constant raising the prices every couple of months is ridiculous. Considering we’ve been here for a long time. It keeps going any higher, and I’ll have to close my unit down and move elsewhere for a bigger unit but same price. Honestly surprised that there’s so many 4+ stars.

Very easy access, always friendly inside. Catherine was lovely to have the tour of the facility with. Yard is easily wide enough to maneuver trailers and vehicles around. Would definitely suggest coming here for storage needs!

It has been an amazing experience working with the staff (Sonali, Catherine and Kim) at the Pickering location in order to find my desired storage unit. They were very knowledgeable, warm, engaging, professional and patient with me throughout the process. I was very indecisive initially, but Sonali and Catherine ensured all my concerns were promptly addressed and I am forever grateful to them for doing so.
This location is very clean and they have variety to choose from. Finally, do not forget to check their website beforehand as they have promos from time to time.

Don’t recommend coming here. I just found out after 3 months the discount I was supposed to get, they didn’t apply so I’ve been over charged this whole time and they won’t fix their error. Will be looking for a new storage place that doesn’t scan their customers.

SmartStop is an excellent Storage facility. It is clean and reasonably priced. The staff there are friendly and knowledgeable. I have dealt with Catherine on several occasions and find her to be so wonderful, understanding, patient and just an overall friendly person to deal with! If you’re looking for a storage unit in the Pickering area I highly recommend SmartStop Storage on Granite!

From the first online conversation with Rachael to the phone conversation with Angie and then the orientation with Catherine at the Pickering, Ontario facility, my husband and I were thoroughly impressed with both the level of service and the facility itself. All 3 ladies were outstanding in sharing the information about the contract and procedures. The building was spotless, the units are climate controlled and easily accessible and the surveillance gave us a level of comfort. It was an excellent experience. The ladies running the front desk are amazing and friendly. They run a tight ship and I've never had any issues, and I have stored here many times.

Honestly not a fan. The facility is clean and well maintained.but.many of the units have beams going through them making it difficult to make full use of the space. They put the price up every 6 months. I went from $125 a month to $180 a month in 3 years. Unless you have a standard credit card and put on automatic recurring payments (not a visa debit, cause those don't work in their system) payment is a pain and even though they are open certain hours there isn't a guarantee that there is someone in the office at those times to pay in person either.

The girls at the Granite Court location (Catherine & Angie) are awesome - friendly, helpful and very cooperative. Great to deal with!

We just got a unit at Smart Stop storage in pickering at 600 Granite Court. We dealt with Catherine and she was very pleasant and personable. You can ask her any questions and as many as you want and she will answer all of them. Cathrine was very clear with all the rules and then some. She showed us where the unit was, how to get there. Very pleasant experience. This is our second time using this storage and will use it again when needed.

Catherine at this location is great to deal with but we are not happy with their twice a year price increases. These constant double digit increases have left us with no choice but to seek other storage alternatives. It is truly a shame. Do not recommend this company as a result.

When I arrived at this location I immediately had a good feeling about the place. It's so clean, bright and refreshing. It's also nice and warm in the winter. Everything was so neat. Right from where the docking station is up to where the units are. -It's very well organized.and worth the money.

SmartStop is a modern and clean storage facility. We had our belongings safely stored there for nearly 4 years in their brightly lit and climate controlled space. Never any problems with access. The staff is friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend using SmartStop Self Storage!

The place is run excellent by their staff. Clean and well equipped. Great job.

Our experience was positive from start to finish. The Staff at the Pickering location were courteous, friendly and very professional in guiding us through the rules and regulations. The facility itself was well maintained, very clean and well lit, and prices were more than reasonable. We have no hesitation in highly recommending this location.

My only complaint is the monthly charge should be pro rated for the portion of the month paid for and nor used. Facilities were clean and readily accessible. I would have no problem recommending smartstop.

I was very pleased with the courteous service I received at SmartStop Self Storage. Catherine and Nicola were very informative and pleasant to deal with. I was given some very good advice and tips regarding my Items of storage and how best to use the facility. I was taken to see all the various units on offer and felt safe regarding Covid-19 throughout the visit.
I would like to thank them both for making this very stressful decision such a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Very clean set up, You could eat of the floors. Easy access to get things in and out. How a storage place should look and be run.

First time going to the storage unit was fun. The ladies working showed us around and explained how everything works. They take a lot of pride in what they do. The facilities were spotless and comfortable. I'm very comfortable leaving my belongings at this site.

Very clean facility, easy to access and excellent customer service. We had a 10x10 storage unit in the main building ground level for a period of 6 months- move in and move out were very smooth and staff were very kind in our interactions. Helpful that they have flat beds available for general use. Huge difference from other storage facilities I have used in the past, yet pricing was competitive and fair.

I've been storing antique furniture and old guitars here for nearly 5 years. Very secure, yet always accessible, day or night. It's climate controlled and always immaculately clean. AND Friendly helpful staff!

I had used SmartStop Self Storage (Pickering Location) for well over five years and I had a wonderful experience. The building was well maintained, any time I need to put something in or take something out, there were trolly's available for use, as well as the elevators. The employees were always pleasant and willing to help when I needed to make changes or just had a question. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a storage locker.

This place has good temperature-controlled units. The washrooms are spotless but very hard to find. Maybe they are clean because not many people can find them:) I find it frustrating that they don't have garbage cans throughout the building. Also, you do not have 24 hrs access to the units like other storage centres.

Best storage place. Staff is amazing, process is simple. Highly recommend. Cant wait for Oshawa location to open.

SmartStop Pickering is a premier organization offering office and storage space. The variety in available spaces and competitive rates make it a compelling proposition. Furthermore, the level of service by office staff, like Catherine, create a superior professional experience. SmartStop has my personal endorsement and I would highly advocate its services to those interested.

The staff here are super nice and the place is always clean. Keep in mind if you're moving stuff on the weekends, evenings or if you're going to be frequenting the facility you might want to bring/rent your own dolly. They have a few at the facility but there's no guarantee you'll get one on a busy day. Other than that no complaints here.

Recently rented a storage locker. Service was quick and easy!
Met with Catherine, she was excellent. Went over all of my options with me and explained the facility in great detail. She was also training that day and was very thorough in explaining her actions to the new employee.
Building was spotless and in great condition!
