Second time renting a storage and had a great service by the lady at the front desk. (Don't know her name) Will be reccomending this place!

I had my stuff there for a few months while moving here from out of province. When I went to clear it out the final time, it had been broken into and at least a daily expensive power tool was stolen. When I called the police they said “oh yeah we know that place. I was there for a call just last week” The staff were completely non-responsive in providing any information or security camera footage and the extra insurance they made me pay for as a hidden charge on top of the rental fee was equally useless. Choosing this place cost me thousands of dollars in the end.

They raise the price after 6 months (for a locker listed at $130 on website, I was paying $230). Also, right of the bat I was paying $11 hidden cost monthly on top of tax. When calling to resolve, no answer. When confronting at front desk, blindly quoting company policy with no desire to help or acknowledge the ridiculousness of their overcharge. Strongly recommend to put your stuff elsewhere.

Decent prices and helpful staff. I wish there was 24 hour access, but I completely understand given the location. I feel confident that my items are secure and safe in this facility. It has easy access and it's decently clean. I've never had to use a storage facility before so I can't really make an honest comparison, but I consider this a pleasant first experience.

Stay away from this company, not reliable and bad customer service from corporate side! According to the lease agreement, they can increase price at anytime with 30 days advance notice, i was never communicated, and the price went up on Jun 1st, 2022, I called and asked why, they told me the notice was sent out by mail, and forwarded me the image, I pointed out the address was incomplete and different from lease agreement, asked them to adjust, and I agree the change from next month. The DISTRICT manager refused to do so, and blamed Canada post didn't send it me when the address was clearly not right. Just a warning for people who are looking for storages, stay away from a business that are dishonest and refuse to admit their mistake!

Easy and convenient service. Only problem was I couldn’t do checkout online cause they require a Canadian Driver’s License but you can use whatever ID you have in person

The storages has no light inside, the bays inly opened from inside, dollies, are not enough or does not have the handle on it

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with this place, it's worked out pretty good so far, the units are not the cheapest but they're plenty spacious and well kept.

Very disappointed in the numerous price increases after your there for a few months. They get you in with promotions and then increase rates frequently to a point where it costs more than other competitors. I will never use them again.

Very clean facility. There is a girl working there she's very Friendly and help me a lot with my 7-8 months stay.

These guys are great, very helpful. Bahar was very helpful in getting me set up and to find a locker that suited my needs. Clean space with a large indoor loading dock.

After a couple of months subscription I received a letter about Rate Change of around 10% without any reasonable explanation.

Well maintained and secure facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this company for storage needs. Have abundance of supplies from boxes to wrapping. Great place and need not look further.

Clean location and easy access.

Our unit is very dirty and has a dolly of someone else hanging from the top wall.customer service is not their strong point and you can never get a manger to call you, despite repeated attempts.can not wait to move my belongings out.we have complained many times about someone blocking our outdoor units door, fell on deaf ears.

Very clean place. Front staff is very friendly. I rented with them for 1 year. No issue with Smartstop. Office staff was very polite& always gave me the right info. I will come back to rent here if I ever need storage again

Place is clean, but some of the staff are not serving properly, there is this associate who were trying to help me yesterday, he was only there indeed to charge me more and not showing any sincerity.and the next day in a very rude manner he called me about the 3 cloth hanger that I placed on the garbage disposal bin, they were not even broken, and could indeed be reused, and he claimed that due to company policy there is a $50 Charge for that, so that low price storage is just a sham, and this guy was not delivering the company policy properly to us.

Disgusting attitude towards clients who pay 1 day late and charge $10 interest fees and $8 phone fees without advising their clients
Manager doesn’t even care to come and show his face to speak to me directly

Very nice staff, always helpful and polite. I have been a customer for smartstop storage more than 2 years and never had any problem. Prices are very affordable. Front desk workers are very kind.
