Smokin’ Hot BBQ was the BEST decision of our wedding. The food was of such good quality and so good tasting, that everyone couldn’t stop talking about it! We were continuously told after our wedding how it was the best food they have ever eaten at a wedding. It truly was THAT good! It was worth every dollar and we are so thankful they catered for our wedding. It was amazing! Highly recommend them for any event you are planning.

Ordered the house special and indeed it was so special! The place is so lovely with live music and prior entering you can already see the smokers which will get you so excited to eat their ribs!

There was boy who served food and I find him very polite and professional at a very young age! Nice way to bring up a kids

Smokin Hot BBQ was incredible to work with from start to finish for our Muskoka wedding! Everyone loved the food and we really can't thank them enough for all of their help for our event.

Ribs are so finger lickin good! So tender, falling off the bone! Add to it corn bread and coleslaw! So satisfying! So yummy! Of course gotta have a beer! Any beer! It’s all good! Service is awesome, ambiance is so rustic, just love it! A must visit in Bracebridge!

We've only had good experiences with Smokin Hot BBQ. Last week we tried their beef ribs for the first time. I'm more a pork rib fan but the beef did not disappoint - great taste, tender and even that great BBQ smell. Also, the customer service we've experienced has been amazing from promptly replying to text orders, following up/updating if any changes may have to be made and orders being ready on time. I highly recommend this BBQ to all. We'll definitely be back.

I’m an avid smoker, and our bike club has visited several smoke meat restaurants Canada and U. S, haven’t been to Texas yet, but I have to say this place was hands down the best smoked meat I’ve had from any restaurant, even the atmosphere being in the old foundry added to the experience, I talked to a fella out back watching the smokers, and I discussed my process, and he kinda vaguely told me what theirs is, obviously these establishments have their process and try not to release to much info, the food was excellent, the staff was very pleasant and we were asked by several staff our thoughts!

I highly recommend visiting if you like smoked meat!

Went to the new location at Muskoka Foundry in Bracebridge today. It was absolutely worth it! I love the food anyway but the new location has inside and outside seating. Julie's mac and cheese is to die for and turkey on a bun is delicious. It's worth tge drive to Bracebridge

There is no where in the world I would rather go get a burger and fries from. No place compares. I don’t order burgers from any other restaurant now because they always disappoint. Lines are always long, but you need the time to make sure you have enough room in your stomach for their massive portions. Peak time is CRAZY busy. But it will ALWAYS be worth the wait. Mind staff, amazing food, beautiful location. I recommend to anyone visiting Huntsville, and if you aren’t make the time to book a road trip!

Amazing food, especially for the price. Atmosphere is good for couples, business outings and families plus gorgeous view of the lake.

Had them cater my rehearsal dinner for a summer wedding this year! Food was amazing, they were very helpful navigating a bunch of dietary restrictions as well. Portions were generous, even though everyone was ravenous we still had leftovers which was impressive. Not giving 5 stars because dinner was delivered quite late.

Really great bbq place. The portions are quite large so bring an appetite. Very tasty. Just note the hours are more limited and they often post on their Facebook if they are open.

Had the briscut. Best I have ever had. It was so tender that if you had no teeth you could easily enjoy it as much as I did.

I only bought 2lb of smoked brisket in one visit so my review is only based on that. Unfortunately, the meat was very dry. I think this place is not always like this based on other reviews I saw. I actually really like the staff, decor, and even their dip. Just can't give above 3/5 since the meat was dry.

More quality control should be introduced to ensure every brisket has the same texture as the best one that day!

1 respect the clock and open hours, no showing up late or early. They have enough stress.

2 opens at noon and expect a line up. Why? Because the food is that good.

4 lots of free parking

5 be nice to staff and other guests. Cranky? Have a Snickers before or stay home

6 order the ribs! Or brisket! Or burgers! You can’t go wrong with place. It’s all good.

I just came back from my first visit to Smokin Hot BBQ and of course I had to try the Brisket as soon as I got home. What can I say but “absolutely delicious”. It was juicy, tender and excellently prepared. The smokers are very impressive and the staff are friendly and helpful. I will be going back to try the Ribs and Burgers. Definitely worth the drive from Bracebridge to Huntsville!

Awesome delicious meaty fall off the bone ribs! You can't go wrong with the burgers cooked over cherry wood fire and poutine with fresh curds! The owners are always friendly and helpful!

First rate BBQ. The real deal.
Bought a family combo meal and it was more than enough for 4 adults. Brisket, ribs, pulled pork, turkey. Even the sides were great.

Finally got a chance to order from Smokin Hot BBQ tonight, our second time in Huntsville. It was awesome! The Smokin' Joe platter was enough for two families of four. We ordered over the phone by text message, no problems. Brisket was succulent, ribs were fall off the bone, pulled pork was great, turkey was nicely smoked and not dry, sides were good. Don't let the "look" of the place from the road fool you; this is legit-and you can see from the people who work here that they absolutely love it, and they take pride in providing quality food at a great price. Even set us up with cutlery when I told them we were staying in a hotel. Friendly people, and definitely left a great first impression. I would definitely recommend them, in a heartbeat. I only wish they would deliver to Southern Ontario.)

Absolutely delicious ribs and brisket. The entire smokers/BBQ setup was so impressive. The family even waited for me to come after they had already closed. Next time we are in the area we will come earlier and try all the items that were already sold out. Thanks so much!

We discovered this place a couple of years ago and have been steady customers since. The food is amazing and the staff is great too. Whenever we have friends visiting from out of town, we treat them to a meal here. Everything is great but my favourite is the poutine. Other family favourites are the smoked turkey, ribs, and brisket and in the summertime the Algonquin burger is a must have. The only disappointment I've ever experienced at Smokin Hot is arriving too late in the day to discover the ribs are gone. If you are visiting Huntsville, put this place on the agenda!

Ate here on a suggestion from Guess Where Trips, thanks so much for that because this place was awesome. My first time eating at an authentic smoke house and it didn't disappointment. I ordered the kimchi fries and the pulled pork sandwich. So amazing, it tasted delicious. I just wish I had room to taste those amazing looking ice cream milkshakes. Great place, highly recommended and will make it back day! I was too excited to eat to take pictures, but believe me, it's worth the visit!

We have been there several times always above and beyond our expectations. The staff try so hard to please everyone The quality of the food is beyond amazing. We have tried the brisket several times the burgers and the fries are above and beyond. Make sure you try the gravy as well. The seating arrangement is also excellent. Plenty of seats even when it’s super busy my only recommendation would be that they stock up a bit better so they don’t run out of the delicious food they have to offer. Very popular especially between 5-630. Great place for lunch as well. Keep up the good work

Good bbq. Outdoor true smoke house bbq feel. Food tastes good. Had brisket and burgers. Decent amount of seating.

Found this honey pot smokehouse on the way home from week long Algonquin camping trip. Hungry for a good meal and boy did we get a good meal!
This is a parking lot set up done in good taste utilizing space nicely and accommodated outdoor dining with covered seating. As we pulled in parking lot we could clearly see this is a busy place due to a lineup that moved in a good pace. Girls in uniform came into the line to take our orders showing us complimentary water bottle station, since hot day I presumed. Got to the checkout which took 10 minutes or so, paid than given a piece of wood with a number on it and instructed to wait on other side. After 10 minutes a beautiful large live edge table (12-15 ppl seater) opened up for us, they also had horse saddle and tractor style seating bar stools which was pretty cool.
15 minutes later our number called out and we scoffed back our perfectly cooked burgers, brisket and pulled pork sandwiches. Fry’s sold separately but well worth it since they are fresh cut fry’s, the poutine was spot on with real cheese curds!
Everything was 5 plus stars in my books! Keep up the great work guys, continue to keep it real and succeed you will indeed!

Great alternative to food trucks. Smoked brisket, pulled pork, burgers, ribs, chicken all cooked and smoked on wood fire. Food was excellent hosts were awesome.

You don't get this in the city! Awesome authentic BBQ. Lots of smoke, so beware you and your clothes will smell like a BBW after. The brisket is to die for - soooo tender soft, juicy, full of flavour, just breaks apart so easily in your mouth. Burger was juicy and one of the best i've had at all price points. Pure simple delicious. The seats oversee the lake. There's not too many seats so if it gets busy, you may be out of luck, so arrive early or non-peak times if you want a table.

Friendly staff and atmosphere is nice. Have the option of sitting by the water and enjoying lunch.

Food was good, the pulled pork was a bit on the dry side. Poutine could use a bit more gravy. For what you get it is quite pricey.

Terrible service and rude staff. After paying for our food we waited 45 minutes before they told us we couldn’t have the full order. I wouldn’t recommend taking your family there unless you want to share a single portion since there wasn’t enough food and they don’t have the decency to tell you until you’ve sat there waiting for 45 minutes. Average food and completely incompetent. Several better places in Huntsville.

Sunday 4: 30pm 10 min wait to order, where 80% of menu was unavailable. 45 min wait with nothing to drink to get a pound of awesome 5/5 brisket and fries.
These guys know how to smoke, but need help with the rest of the process.

This is a you must eat here place, everything on the menu is so delicious. This is one of our top spots to stop when traveling up north. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and smiling, the food is always fresh and fast and we have never left hungry that's for sure. We have a dog so it being outside is perfect for us.

Poutine is one of my favourite foods! And dang can this place make a good one! I’d be safe to say probably the best I’ve ever had! The fries, the gravy (not chintzy on the gravy like most places), the curds… to perfection! A large can easily be shared. We also ordered the pulled pork with coleslaw sandwiches and they were delicious. I won’t say as good as the poutine but I’m a little partial. We definitely rang that bell!:)

I want to give this restaurant the higher rating it deserves, but every time I go there they are out of something.every single time!

Stood in line for 30 minutes only to find out at the front of the line they ran out of ribs and pulled pork just two hours after opening. This is one of those restaurants that just does whatever they want. The food is great but service needs a lot of work. The staff are very nice and friendly but they just don't plan properly. As a restaurant I would recommend not running out of food.

Had delicious brisket sandwich and poutine. The prices are a tad steep but it is well worth it. Fantastic atmosphere great service and amazing food. They also let my wife bring her own gluten free bun because they were all out. They took great care in making sure the grill was cleaned before they toasted it and that it did not touch any non celiac friendly items.

My fiance and I have been stopping in at Smokin Hot for a few years now. We are always impressed with the food and fast service! I actually crave there stuff it is sooo good! Insane. Best 'chip truck' around, it has grown so much over the past year or so and it is getting more busy each year but you still don't have to wait! So happy to see the hardworking owners success. Can't say enough about this place:)
We will always stop on the way to the cottage and highly recommend it to friends/fam too.

I wish this restaurant was closer to where I live. I loved everything about this restaurant. From the beautiful view, delicious foods, and the outdoor decor to the hardworking staff. We had the beef brisket sandwish which was amazing. I loved the spicy taste of the sauce. I would definitely go back to this restaurant next time I go to Huntsville.

We had heard about this place from friends of ours. We were not disappointed! Burger was nothing short of amazing and the poutine was fantastic. Totally worth the wait…you have to when you want fresh and delicious. Staff was very friendly and we got to meet the owner too. Definitely recommend this place!

Great spot for a scenic lunch or dinner. The staff are super friendly and there are so many options now for food and all so flavourful! Not your average chip truck, definitely something to stop by and see whenever visiting the area.

Everything about this place is great! From the fantastic view, the rustic outdoor decor, and neatly laid-out distancing guidelines, to the friendly staff, and, let's not forget; the incredible food! The ribs are truly the best in Muskoka!

The burgers and fries are out of this world! ️ Burgers are thick and juicy and so delicious! They brand the bun which is fresh, soft with a touch of char on the outside It is a big burg but it’s so amazing you will eat the entire creation! Now the fries are fresh cut and cooked to perfection. The Smokin’ Hot BBQ is definitely smokin’ amazing! See you there!

We waited in line in the rain for 25 minutes at lunch hoping for pulled pork and turkey sandwiches for my daughters. Found out when we got to the cash (which isn't visible from 90% of the line) that pulled pork, brisket and turkey aren't available until 2: 00. Would be great if you had a sign that wasn't hidden behind the cash informing that food isn't available until later in the day. We'll try another time. Edit: thank you for the response. It would be better if the big chalk board in front of your cash area informed about the times (the same as the one behind the cash). I could have made my decision before waiting until I got to the cash.

Stumbled onto this place on a motorcycle trip, and my god is this ever good. Price is reasonable and the food is top notch. Just the smell of the BBQs makes it so much better. I can't express how good this was. Had the Algonquin Burger since they were sold out of pulled pork. We will be back tomorrow for sure. Side note, don't be over zealous on your fries, they are huge and delicious.

I have been watching this place for awhile on Facebook and decided to try the text ordering. Was simple enough. When I arrived, the place was hopping. They have an easy system in place. Pay, get a number and your order and gone. The staff really work well, even in the smoke everything I saw coming out was a generous amount. I had a full rack of ribs, fall off the bone and not to heavy on the smoke. The pulled pork is really good and the brisket was 1/2 pound. Plenty of food for 2 of us. Keep up the good work. Will be back to try more items.
