Dr Beehler and his assistant were amazing. They were very professional, helpful and friendly. The ladies at the reception area were also amazing. Over all very good experience.

As always Dr Jean was very courteous and professional, explaining all my options to deal with a troublesome wisdom tooth that had been causing me a great deal o pain. My tooth did not want to be evicted but stood no chance against Dr. Jeans valliant battle.
The Team at Smyth Dental is also very efficient and courteous, highly recommend.

My wife has been going to Dr Butterfield since she was 18 yrs old. He has been our family dentist for 30yrs. He does amazing work and his staff and hygienist are amazing.
Just left his office having some work done and a great job as usual; can’t feel my bottom lip yet though.

6 root canals, 30 minutes for the freezing to kcik in. I Think I received about 12-15 needles before we started. Long story short Dr. Mailloux has an angel's touch. I felt nothing at all. The city of Ottawa has a good one.

He is now my family Doctor and we Travel from Montreal to see him.

This dental centre is fast, friendly and always accepting new patients. Overall the unit was clean, lots of seating and the exam rooms were beautiful with lots of privacy. Dentists are very informative, assistants are caring and the room has a huge tv in case of longer visits. I would definitely recommend!

I love going to the Smyth Dental Centre. My dentist always makes me feel welcomed and he is also very good. The dental hygienist I have seen today did an excellent work, she was very thorough and also very nice.

This dental office has a 5 Star staff and dentists and is also a 5 star dental clinic. But only to customers who pay or have insurance if you’re on ODSP they do nothing for you just check up and cleaning. I had my top moulders removed in the past from another dentist because my wisdom teeth had grown in a way that pushed all my teeth forward. I now have one moulder on top on one side and chewing food is very difficult i can only chew food on one side. I really hate my teeth and I wish i was not afraid to smile and Im told my bottom teeth are fine and in good shape. Im also told that the only way they could help is if i was missing a front tooth i could get dentures well i was missing a front tooth but the ONTARIO WORKS dentist put in a stud and fake tooth! So because of this every dentist now tells me theres nothing they can do. I have asked for payment options or anything at all that can be done and im just told straight up No And or give us $2000 and we will do it, IM ON ODSP i get almost $900 to pay rent/bills/food along with mental health issues and cant even get a bit of help or advice or anything just hands out for money or No’s. So yes 5 STAR DENTISTS AND STAFF EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE VERY BAD ANXIETY AND DONT LIKE GOING TO THE DENTIST THEY MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE A JOB AND OR INSURANCE TO COVER WORK.

I just love this place, words cant describe it. Just the atmosphere, the staff, even down to the dentists themselves theyre all great people who do amazing work. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Just had my very first introductory visit with Dr Butterfield and his assistant, Sue, and their front desk staff. It was an exceptionally comfortable and satisfying experience. Both exhibit extraordinary bedside manner, as-it-were, immediately placing me at ease. I could sense almost instantly from even ‘first-contact’ with their front-of-house’ personnel just how competent and professional these wonderful people are. It goes a long way towards reassurances. Even the environment itself is very comforting with its bright, open and clean surroundings. Something I was especially appreciative of is, as an immunocompromised person, as well as my wife who also presented today, all the staff were still in the habit of wearing PPE while simply carrying-on their regular business. Thank you so much for going that extra mile. Dr Butterfield and Sue were incredibly helpful and informative regarding their offerings, their protocols, their basic ‘mantra’ that I pretty much came way from this appointment with an astounding sense of being ‘in-good-hands’ moving forward. Thank you to all and I’m certainly looking forward to this new relationship. Cheers!

The staff is so wonderful. From the from staff, to the dental hygienist to the dentist. I have such anxiety going to the dentist I have since I was a kid and they make me feel so comfortable. Dr. Jean is the nicest man and really cares for his patients. He goes above and beyond with his care to make sure everything works for you. I now live in Kanata and it takes me about 40 mins to get to the office but I will make the drive because I know I am in good hands.

As always a very efficient professional process, no matter what the procedure. The compassion of the staff from reception to procedure to check out is always evident and makes for a worry free experience. I will always highly recommend Smyth Dental Centre for any Dental related procedures. Thanks again for the highly professional care.

Just the way Dr Mailloux explains everything that is happening and warns « you’ll feel a little pinch here » and it’s always an even smaller pinch. Very sweet attention.

I called Smyth Dental at 9.30 in the morning and saw my dentist at 11.30 a.m. My tooth problem was fixed by 12.15. What great service.

I had my first ever visit here today to have a cracked molar repaired. Everyone was absolutely amazing. Caring. Compassionate. My best dental visit in a very long time!

I have dr. Mailloux, he is awesome and friendly. He walks uou through every step and as a very anxious patient he os calming and reassuring. His assistant and him work really well and make the experience very easy.

As usual my appointment was for 11am, i was in at 11am, they understand that time is extremely important. Meagan did my cleaning and was all smiles, caring and courteous. Awesome job Megs! Doc Mailloux came in, did his inspection, gave me 2 thumbs up with a big smile on his face. The ladies at the front counter gave me my next appointment and I was on my way. Awesome job everybody!

As per usual, everyone was very friendly and courteous. The appointment was on time as scheduled, and they do an outstanding job at giving you friendly reminders so you don’t miss or forget your appointment. My dental hygienist was very good, quick and gentle so it was not painful at all. Doctor Mailloux was his usual smiley, happy self:)

My dentist is excellent. Dr. Butterflied is very caring and gentil. Best dentist I have ever had. I have had many because I have moved across Canada a few times.

The Doctor was great. The staff was so nice and courteous. I would definitely recommend this dental centre. I'm a senior and it is so nice to be treated so kindly.

I wish I could give them 20 stars. Dr Butterfield and his staff are alway kind and cheerful. They give excellent knowledgeable care. They are amazing with both my autistic children, and my friends and family who have anxiety around dentistry. I highly recommend them.

I have never had a negative experience since my dentist retired and I started coming here several years ago. There is never a wait, there is never a surprise or anything unexpected. I've always hated the dentist, but my hygienist and Dr. Jean are great.

I used to be nervous to go to the dentist but now I look forward to my appointments, I like the service, the care, the windows, of course the staff, and their TVs!

I've had wonderful dental treatment here. The clinic is clean and the staff are amazing and very pleasant to deal with. Dr. Butterfield is kind and supportive and explains everything he's doing every step of the way. I've never had such good dental care and I highly recommend this clinic.
