I absolutely love the concept of Board Game cafes! There should be more of these in the city. I think this location was one of the original board game cafes in Toronto, so definitely worth visiting.

Great place.the atmosphere s really friendly and the workers there are very enthusiastic and happy to help out if I could give more stars I would.had a great time keep doing a great job waited an hour but it was worth it also recommend their cappuccino is delicious

It's a cute little gathering area, with more of a café vibe than the College location. Staff are very polite and friendly, and very helpful whenever you need some assistance. The clipboard menus are actually really neat. The only thing I can nitpick is that I wish there were more cushions for the seats. Sitting on hardwood for a few hours numbs the butt.

Huge selection of well organized games, helpful and informative staff, healthy and tasty foods. Been here 4 times over the last 2 weeks and its been great each time. Always ask recommendations for games from the staff and have then help teach you the rules.

Lots of beer selection and great food. Also many games that you can buy on site.

Decent selection of games, fair base price for unlimited game playing (didn't pressure us to leave or buy things after spending hours there), and good lattes

Went on a Friday night had to wait about 20 minutes but you at a text when a table is ready for you! They have a huge selection of games which was great. We needed help with a game and the beautiful human working came over to us and explained how to play very very well. They also sat in with us for a trail run of a round which was very helpful. Hot chocolate I got was also delicious. It was an amazing experience.

The food and drinks are amazing and there are so many options of games to choose from. They don’t do reservations so be ready to wait especially on a friday, saturday; and sunday night. The system they have set up is smart, there is always someone around to tell you where the game you want is on the shelf’s and he even has a tablet which can tell him if they have it or not. Their Cappochino and Hot Chocolate is amazing.

Great place to go on a double date, casual date or just to hang out. They have tons of board games to choose from, great snacks and lattes. The Nutella latte they serve is amazing, just saying.

Visited here with a friend. I was a little nervous about finding games for two people but their system is so well planned and they have so many games we were entertained for 3 hours! I also ordered the Mac and cheese and got it cold in the center and they took it back with no hesitation, gave me a new warm one and a complimentary bag of popcorn! I would definitely revisit and I have recommended it to many friends already!

Decided to take the family out, and show the kids what life was like before video games. Haha

What a great place! Welcoming atmosphere and a TON of games to choose from. They have classics and they also have games I have never heard of. We played a bunch of games for 2 hours. My daughters favourite game was Hungry Hungry Hippos! Mine too.aahhh to feel like a kid again:)

Always a blast here. Good selection of board games, and friendly staff. Food is pretty mediocre, but that's not why you go here. Pay for the table per person, but not per hour which is also nice

Loved this place! I went here for a double date and we all loved it! The game we played was there and we didn’t have to wait! We can stay here for hours and play how many games we want which is amazing! Plus, they also serve food and drinks, so if you’re hungry or thirsty, there’s always something to drink and eat! Will definitely be coming back here soon!:)

Lots of games and a knowledgeable staff as I've come to expect from Snakes and Lattes. I would give 5 stars, except there is very little in the way of hot food here. Other locations have hot food, so if you are looking for a meal try the College location.

Killer kewl. Love this place, the service is phenomenal, they're very nice and try their best and their hot chocolate is so darn yum (along with about everything else there)

Knowledgeable staff, amazing atmosphere, and a solid collection. I had a great experience here! There has been a entry fee price increase to $8 I believe at the time of this review, which is on the higher side if you're not staying for long periods of time. Would definitely come here again in the future.

The service was good, could have been more frequent, but when our server did come by they were very friendly and attentive. They offer vegetarian and vegan options which is awesome. The way they present their food and drinks is also really adorable and astheticly pleasing. I enjoyed the game select ion and the atmosphere. It can get pretty loud, but still enjoyable.

We had so much fun playing games here. They have a great selection and very knowledgeable staff. It can be quite busy on weekend afternoons, so you might have to get a place in line and leave your phone number. There are some shops nearby to browse while you wait. They offer coffee, tes, juice, smoothies, food, and desserts for purchase while playing.

The wait times are not as long as they used to be. However, the games are falling apart or missing pieces. We had to wait quite a bit before we found a gamemaster to refer us the right game for our party size. The only plus is our server was nice and prompt. They also increased their base price to $8. Now that more board game cafes have popped up around the city, I prefer lesser known cafes with an up-to-date game collection.

There have been a lot of board game cafes that have come and gone in Toronto over the past few years but Snakes and Lattes is both one of the originals and one of the best! Their selection of games simply can't be matched and the staff always provides great recommendations and are great at teaching newbies how to play pretty much any game on their shelves.

The only thing to keep in mind is that this place is definitely well-known for what it does so if you come in at peak hours be prepared for it to busy!

This rating is based on their kickstarter fulfillment. They should learn how to ship things properly. If you need to order a board game online chose another retailer with better service.

I went with 2 of my friends and we had a good spot. Unfortunately, there's no AC which is terrible for the super humid summer. The food and drinks came quickly and the server always came around every 10-15 minutes to refill our water and answer any questions despite it being busy. The washrooms were clean and there were so many games to choose from. Free wifi was a plus.
