Best nachos in the city! The trivia night on Wednesdays is one of the best around with a really great host.

Friend invited me for 2000’s night, I haven’t had that that much fun in a long time. Everyone was dancing and the atmosphere was crazy. They only accept cash, but to my pleasant surprise they have an atm machine that actually has a reasonable withdrawal fee. 100% going back, definitely check it out!

Just the best grunge vibes. Cheap drinks, good food and real nice staff. What more do you need from a dive bar?

Best ceasars in Toronto imo. Iconic nacho plates. Bathroom graffiti top notch. Karaoke nights and rock shows of lore. Highly recommend the cactus in the valley nachos

One of the best bars/restaurants in the city. The best nachos in the city (DFA Nachos are the greatest). The upstairs venue rules, and emo night every Friday night is the best time. This place is a punk rock institution in the city. I love it, and so will you.

The food is soo bad.big portion of a terrible tasteless chicken burrito filled more with beans than anything else served with flavorless rice and salad. And it doesn't even come with sour cream, guac or salsa. The nachos that they are apparently famous for are just big.not good. The drink prices are good but not the best on the block, Bistro422, Green Room, Toby's has them beat. It's a cool dive punk bar but I will never eat their again.

Good drinks, great price, staff is sweet and they follow all covid protocols. I didn’t go when they had a live show, so it was a bit of a slower night. Still good overall

Fantastic place to celebrate events such as b'days with a group of people. Budget friendly and tasty food.

Food is good, however we had a server who was very unfriendly and spoke condescendingly to myself and my group of friends. Not sure if she was having a bad day but seemed to have poor people skills which was disappointing as she is working in the hospitality industry.

You can’t go wrong with a night out at sneaky Dee’s. The nachos are absolutely incredible, and drinks are super cheap.

Only thing is I really wish they would allow us to pay separately as it can be super annoying to deal with, but regardless it’s always worth it.

Overall solid vibes, and highly recommend checking it out.

If you are craving for Tex-mex, then your prays are answered. Head straight here to enjoy it! We tried their Vegetarian Fajitas and Mexican Bruschetta, which was amazing and the quantities were good too. The staff is friendly and is well-versed with the menu.

Nachos are to die for, I've been coming to this place for 15 years, such as iconic Torontonian Mexican place, great for after party snacks/food they also have live music

Not really a big fan of the beer selection but pretty big portion sizes, very dive bar-esque but was an enjoyable experience

Usually grab an order from Uber here. Very nice and welcoming front-of-house. Crowded by the weekends. Pretty chill among the weekdays.

The restaurant part is awesome with great food, and the venue upstairs is just as great.feels like home.

Been there just once for a pop-punk gig in the 2nd floor. Nice place for underground rock live shows. Haven't eated yet in their 1st floor (where is located the restaurant part).

Don't go on a Saturday. We just went and they were playing Keshia. I guess Lame Saturdays is a theme now.

Sneaky Dee's is a true Toronto institution. It's a staple. One of the most iconic and best places in the city. Portions are massive. Events are fun. I recommend the enchiladas. They're delish.

Sneaky Dee's is a Toronto treasure. Large and varied menu at prices you can't beat. The plates come full. You won't leave hungry or unhappy.

I have never quite figured out why punk music and Mexican food go so well together; maybe it's all the sculls as decorative elements. Somehow they do.
The portions were large, tasty and satisfying. The kitchen accommodated my request to hold the freholes.
If you are hungry, maybe on a budget and looking for someplace unique you should be eating at Sneaky Dee's.

A classic staple in Toronto. The nachos are for those who are seriously hungry. The avocado wraps are amazing grilled.

This is the place that taught me that lentil soup (with lime), vegan cupcakes (RIP?), and french fries could count as a meal.

Fast, fun and friendly! The food is always perfect, over medium eggs made right every single time. I love the staff, they are so great! Sneaks for life really.

EDIT REVIEW: I've been here a couple times since the pandemic and I can say I've always left disappointed. The nachos are not what they used to be, it seems that they cut down on the portion as well as on the toppings. Quite sad as this was my go to place for nachos. Originally a 5+ start review and I hope they regain their glory soon!

Yes, their nachos are the best in the city. (Get the King's Crown but get the beans on the side or your chips might get a bit mushy if you're a slow eater). But what this place never gets credit for is how INCREDIBLE their WINGS are! They're huge and the sauce is both sweet and spicy. Oh, and the guac/sour cream dipping sauce. It's all pure magic and the best TexMex pub-grub in the city.

This has been the local watering hole and all around place for good live music since the 80's. Great grungey local dive bar feel with great Tex Mex food, giant sized plate of Nacho's enough to share! Boy oh boy if those walls could talk, thank goodness there were no cell phones in the 80's!

Best Beer and nachos place in Canada. The graffiti decor pub giving a retro feel never fails to amaze you with amazing food and beer. This place has few of the best bartenders and servers in Toronto. Nice to talk to and caring (they won’t serve anyone whose bullocks on their drinks)
Don’t forget to try sweet potato fries or greek nachos with a pitcher of beer or red sangria

Sneaky Dee's (Sneaky Disease) is a nostalgia trip for me. I associate it with good times of decades ago. Not sure how that affects my appreciation of it. I enjoyed the food and there was lots of it.

Greasy bar food, excellent Mexican food for Toronto, open late. It has a great "dirty" atmosphere with out actually being dirty. Great spot, I've been there many times over 10 years.

A great spot for students who aren’t fussed about what they drink/eat. They don’t split bills - which honestly, is kind of ridiculous when u have 6 people trying to scramble together change & pay for an auto applied gratuity. Sort it out!

Good place to eat if you are into the hipster scene. Loud rock music, lot of graffiti in the restaurant and the bathroom. Couple TVs for sports but not enough for the every table to see. Beware, they don't split cheques.

It was actually pretty good. My friend and I ended up here prior to a show.and we had no expectations. It was relatively quick service and the food was pretty authentic Mexican. I'd recommend the pulled pork enchiladas. The only issue we found was that they won't seperate the cheques and they won't take debit. Kinda odd. But. We were too full of yummy food to argue.

A Toronto staple and one of my go tos! So grateful there are vegetarian and vegan options so it makes it easy to go out as a group. Reasonably priced drinks and hearty portions. Definitely get the nachos!

Ordered Baja Plate, which is sides to be a vegetarian fish in their menu. Had a fish inside. Warning all vegetarian/ vegans to stay away from this place as far as food is concerned. Very careless service.

Always busy, open late, great for a quick inexpensive meal. If you are looking for upscale dining experience, this ain't it! But otberwise fun and quite the spot for people watching while eating!

Our table of nine were offered a choice of a fixed menu or regular menu. Half of us decided to go with the fixed menu. We were then told that if the whole table didn't order off the fixed menu no one could. What a joke. I had an app, 4 drinks and the ravioli dish. The food was ok but the meal cost me $150 including tip. Not worth it!

Leave your hesitations and preconceived notions at the door when entering this grunge inspired restaurant and bar. The portions are hearty and had my stomach begging for mercy. The edibles are inventive and inspired not to mention tasty. The atmosphere is edgy, laid back and all inclusive. Run don't walk to visit this likely often overlooked one of a kind eatery. Additionally, being from Buffalo and with a nod from a chicken wing expert (my son) we can safely say these wings get a double stamp of a approval!

What took me so long to try this place out? ! From the service to the food to the decor/ambiance- everything was perfect!
We got there by 6.45pm, which was ideal since 20 minutes later there was a long wait line outside the door.
The vibe here was like a sleazy bar with all the graffiti and wooden furniture, but they managed to elevate it somehow.
They are known for their gigantic nacho's but the menu also included regular Tex-Mex options, along with all-day breakfast and burgers/sandwiches. They also had several vegan options, which is something unique for such a bar/restaurant.
We started off with the vegetarian nachos and avocado spring rolls. For mains I got the veggie patty w/ 2 eggs and toast and asked to sub.the hash browns for a side salad, which the server readily obliged to.
My friends got the chicken wings, fish sandwich, and vegan burro favorito. The food took around 15-20 minutes to arrive, but there were no complaints taste-wise.
The prices were a bit steep but the portion sizes made up for it.
Amazing restaurant! This will definitely be one of my regulars from now on!

Food is good and comes in big portions. Restaurant is a bit grungy, could be cleaner too. However, been coming here for years, and the Mexican food is great.

Good food, but a little pricey. You get a lot for what you pay for, but I wish there was half the food for half the price.the veggie fajitas also gave me bad stomach cramps afterwards.

Great venue and the themed nights are so much fun! Floor feels like it’s going to cave in but so far it hasn’t!

Sneaky Dee's always feels like home. It's unpretentious, the guacamole is delicious and the staff is always nice. Don't go here if you're looking for something fancy. Go here if you want to gorge on generous portions of tasty grub.

Good food. Prices a bit high if you're a student but their combination platters are worth it - very big portions, can easily make 2 meals out of one serving which kind of justifies the prices. Music is really loud so expect to be shouting across to each other. Also if you go as a group be prepared to e-transfer one person your money - they don't split bills. On a busy night expect to wait about 30-45mins for your food. My fork had little bits of who knows what crusted on it around the top so that made me question the cleanliness. Just grabbed another fork but slightly disturbed haha. Overall good first experience. Will definitely visit again.

Sneaky Dee’s has a fun grunge feel that makes me feel youthful whenever I step in. I was uber impressed with the quality of Sneaky Dee’s food. I’m a big breakfast eater and can eat breakfast at any time of day. But this place had one of the best breakfasts I’ve eaten in a very long time.not to mention, it was almost 1am in the morning on a Wednesday. The portion and price ratio is phenomenal and worth every penny. Loved the hot chocolate as well. Perfection. I had a great time.

I have been going to Sneaky Dee's for many many years. The vegan burrito favoritio is my absolute favorite.

The second floor had live music every day. I've seen many live music events there.

A favorite haunt!

A Toronto classic. Definitely worth visiting if you are in the area. The artwork they have on the front of the restaurant is iconic, and very trippy, but that's what makes it fun.

This place has a lot of character and offer puts on live shows. I prefer to go here for brunch or get the nachos as a tried and true snack in the evenings. There’s something about the draft beer that is a little off though. Tastes like they need to clean the taps.

Always quality dining after frequenting this restaurant for the past 25 years. Open late, vegan options, greasy options.great music. Don't have a bad thing to say about this place and all the staff. Including the upstairs live music venue.

Went for trivia on Wednesday night. Will never be back.

My water glass had mold on the bottom. Everyone else had the same issue. When I asked for a glass without mold, the waiter assured me it was "just gunk that's built up over the years. " He was super offended when I told him that was just as gross as mold, and refused to refill our waters for the rest of the night.

The food was disappointing. So many people on here are saying these are the "best nachos in Toronto"? The toppings aren't evenly distributed, the cheese is in blocks on the very top layer and nowhere else. You either get a huge too-large chunk or none at all, and there's nowhere near enough chips even when you do manage to distribute the toppings yourself.

Even ignoring the water cup issue, we struggled to get service at the table to order anything. I get that trivia is a busy night with people ordering at the same time, but if they didn't want to get slammed like that, they shouldn't make everyone wait outside and be let in at the same time. Or, you know, add another waiter. We shouldn't be waiting that long for a plate of nachos.

Also, are we all talking about the same place? Reasonably priced? The food is expensive!

Bad food, bad service, dropped way too much money for that experience. Very disappointing. The trivia was great, though. I recommend you catch him at some other gig.

They have amazing omelets, amazing! However, it would have been nice if they served pancakes. The setting was good, and there was a club on the top floor of the restaurant.
