Amazing cabins. Built and outfitted they way I would do it for my own cabin. Clean and well appointed. Beautiful location. Excellent place to use as a base for day hikes in the park.

I was only a visitor but the cottages are very nice and the beach is good for the whole family.

I rented a canoe from Snug Harbour Resort for our first family canoe/backcountry camping trip in Frontenac Provincial Park. It was incredibly convenient to park our car at the resort, load our gear and our 3 year old toddler into the canoe and make our way to our camp site on Birch Lake. The daily rental rate was good and Rob was warm, welcoming and friendly.

My partner and I stayed for two days prior to the Thanksgiving Long Weekend and had a great time at Snug Harbor. The resort is a great place to see the autumn leaves. I will let the photos speak for themselves in how beautiful this place is. They have high quality canoes for use so we made several trips out on the lake and it was so relaxing and scenic. We also went fishing on the dock and had a great turnout. The resort is very quiet and neighbours are very respectful. Only minor issues were that the cabin doors didn’t lock, we had a few flies in the cabin upon arriving, and you have to bring your own bedding but hey, what’s cabin life without some flies, totally expected. In the end, bringing our own bedding and towels was more ideal given the pandemic. We highly recommend staying here!

We have been descending upon SMUG HARBOUR Resort for one glorious August week every year since 2003. A time for our family and friends to come together and reconnect with nature and each other. We always find clean, well stocked cottages, beautiful docks, a beach that is large and inviting, swimming areas that are safe and fun, a wonderful lake to explore by kayak, paddle board or canoe, a large field for those spirited volleyball or bocceb all games, and of course Rob, always there to welcome us and lend a helping hand. Our family has been coming to these cottages for almost 20 years. We come back every year because of how welcome Rob makes us feel. The grounds and cottages are always clean and well maintained. It’s a quiet paradise on a beautiful lake.

I cannot express in words how incredible my experience has been at Snug Harbor two seasons in a row now. Rob, is such an excellent person to deal with. He's always got canoes ready for me, his cabins are beautiful, extremely clean and very affordable. If you are looking to sneak away for a couple days or even a week this a perfect place to check out. I will be back in August.

A beautifully maintained cottage with a gorgeous view of Desert Lake. Rob and his small team are awesome and so accommodating. Our group has been gathering at Snug since 2003 and always look forward to our stays. Highly recommend this Resort for couples, families and anyone wanting to enjoy peaceful natural beauty!

My first time going to the Resort was a pleasant experience. Rob was friendly and accommodating. My friend and I rented a canoe and spend a night at one of the camp sites. Beautiful from start to finish. I’ll definitely be going back!

Easily the best campground on the lake. Rob and his staff are very friendly. Great place for families with the nice sandy beach. Incredible views. All around A1 place. Don't hesitate to book a stay!

One of the best resorts in all of Ontario it is owned and operated by Rob who takes pride and care of his operations constantly upgrading and taking time to look after his guests I highly recommend this Resort
