Very good now. Wasn't that great years ago. Food is excellent now. Lava cake is heavenly!

The atmosphere and location are lovely. Food is a little bland and sometimes sloppy (ex: overdressed salad) but not bad. Service is alright. Beer selection isn't great. Beer tasted like lines could use a flush.

I ordered the Salmon Florentine. Absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying this dish if you are salmon lover and like the right amount of sweetness. I also chose the mashed potatoes as the side and loved it. My whole plate was definitely worthy, and deserved a "Michelin Star" in my opinion. We came for my mother in law's birthday - she always loves coming here for her birthday, so I am not missing any of her birthdays ever again, because she'll always want to come here. Thank you Snug Harbour for the delicious meals!

Was very disappointed with the service this time. Went in the summer and sat on the patio and the food and service was excellent. Tonight the staff were confused and the waitress was too busy to take care of us. We were served by the bus staff. Had to get the bus server to get the waitress so we could get our bill. My fish was over cooked and no one seemed to care when I mentioned it. Would have liked to have given a better rating but for the price, the service needs to be better.

I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment recently, and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. Beth, our waitress, provided excellent service throughout the meal. The food exceeded my expectations; it was not only delicious but also reasonably priced for the quality. Additionally, the view by the lake dock added to the overall ambiance. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience!

My wife and I go here every now and again. It's a great spot for an upscale meal, and the water side patio can't be beat in the summer! The servers are always friendly and the food is great.
The only slight disappointment for us has been that the people at the host/hostess desk at the entrance have often been a little snippy. I understand that the restaurant gets busy but it's off-putting when that's your initial experience at the restaurant.

Never a disappointed! Always very lively but very busy aswell. Good food and was delicious as always. Beer came out warm but a quick conversation with our great waitress and a new one came to the table just perfect. Always a great time but unfortunately very busy all of the time but that’s a good thing and we got lucky as we failed to make reservations but we were able to walk in and get a seat for 4 during Sunday dinner rush.

Lovely patio area to sit overlooking the river and the lighthouse. Staff were very friendly and a light lunch of Cesar salad with blackened chicken was delicious.

I've been here a handful of times, but it seems like everything I do, the food gets better! Service and atmosphere are always great.

Went after a while and honestly disappointed to see frozen fries. No fresh cut fries at an otherwise good seafood restaurant

Great seafood in a lakeside setting. We like to pull into the harbour with our boat and have lunch on the patio. This place feels like a vacation!

One question: On the flagpole outside your restaurant; Why is the "pride" flag flying higher than the CANADIAN FLAG? !

The last time I was here was when I was younger, and you weren't getting in the door in any less than a button up and pants. The dress code is definitely more lax, which is good and bad, depending on the given time. The food was great, the "snug" sized mohito was a joke, so small for an insanely high price. Aside from that, good experience.

Our server Miranda was absolutely amazing! The food was great as always and good size servings.
The only minor issue we’re the amount of flies in the restaurant this visit were annoying.

First time visit to Snug and Went for the seafood unfortunately no portion available for single. (My group wasn't interested in sharing 25 mussels) this app serving was way too much for one, very unfortunate that they would not accommodate like other restaurants. Alternatively ordered a salad and main, meh sub par and not worth the pricing or the drive. Cocktails over priced compared to other places so only ordered 1. Toronto bars/restaurants that are cheaper by even 2.00$. No interest in returning. Underwhelming.

First visit and it was great. There was a little bit of a wait, but we sat at the bar for a drink and 10 minutes later we had a table by the water. Our server, Donald, was awesome! Will definitely visit again!

Great attentive service but the food not so much. My husband and I have always wanted to visit, but other times they were full. Finally had a table, service was good but the meal had no flavour. My husband had the white fish, and I had the salmon. Salmon was okay but the whitefish wasn't fully cooked and no flavour. We won't be going back. But at least we can checkmark it off our list of places we visited

Went here for the first time last evening. Food and drinks were great. Sat by the water and people watched. Our waitress, Holly, was fantastic. Very personable, genuine and attentive. Will absolutely return and soon!

Loved the Canadian white fish and my husband liked the steak. The Chardonnay was very good- Leaping horse and key lime pie too. Patio has its charm even when it rains.

Absolutely enjoyed the food, ambience and service. Got to be lucky with the parking as it does get busy. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The food was tasty and serving size was reasonable for the price. The location, especially the Patio area, is truly amazing and worth the visit. Will definitely be back.

The staff was okay, the view is nice. The parking is great. Was pleasantly surprised there was no wait, and pricing is decent, however, the food is poor. Calamari came out of a box and was all stuck together and greasy, the shrimp, pasta and fish dishes all lacked seasoning, freshness and flavour. Even the salad was unappealing. Also not great for special occasions.

Management is rude, insensitive and just completely out of touch.

I took a client here for a little celebration. We had 2 beers each inside, then went to the patio. We had a cocktail, then ordered appetizers and wine. The "manager" (older blond lately, very rude and deprecating) told us that we can't have anymore to drink, that this is a family establishment and they can't give us anymore more to drink.

Entirely embarassing, uncalled for and just not a great way to build a clientele. Servers were great until the visit from the manager.

Good thing it has a nice view, don't go if you want more than 3 drinks no matter what you order or how long you plan to be there. I would never return.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at a restaurant that I feel compelled to share. While dining there, our server made a mistake with our order - instead of bringing us the mussels we had requested, she accidentally brought out clams. However, instead of promptly realizing the error and rectifying it, she informed us to keep the clams and assured us that she would bring out the correct dish.

A short while later, our server returned to our table, but sadly with disappointing news. She explained that her manager had relayed a rather surprising message, stating that due to supply and demand issues, we would be required to pay for both the mistakenly served clams and the mussels we had originally ordered. As someone who has spent nine years working in the service industry, I found this to be completely unacceptable in terms of customer service standards.

To make matters worse, as we were leaving the restaurant, we happened to witness the manager casually indulging in food that was being prepared in the kitchen. This lack of professionalism not only grossed us out, but it further solidified our overall negative impression of the establishment.

While I understand that mistakes happen, it's crucial for those in the service industry to take responsibility for their errors and find appropriate solutions for their customers. Unfortunately, this restaurant fell short in both those regards. For individuals who may be considering dining there, I feel it's important to be aware of this experience in order to make a fully informed decision.

Overall, my experience at this particular restaurant left much to be desired. The service was lacking in accountability, and witnessing the manager's unhygienic behavior was truly disappointing.

The food was tasty. I ordered a seafood linguini with lobster sauce which came with four shrimp and two scallops. That seems kind of bare for the $36 price tag. It was good, but nothing to call home about. The views are good. Service average.

Wonderful atmosphere. Rachel was also a pleasure to deal with, food was excellent and very tasty. Nothing bad about being right beside the water! Servings are also massive, wish I got the fish tacos that my wife got because the sauce it came with was to die for.
