I used to love coming here until they fenced off a lot of parking areas. It's beautiful but I get the sense there will be development happening in the area which kills the experience for me.
It's a beautiful place to walk with your dog. However beware of massive potholes in the dirt road on the way to park. Drive slowly, if you have a small car be careful not to bottom out your car.

This is a beautiful place to walk, but so many people had their dogs off leash. My dog isn't friendly toward other dogs, and so many off leash dogs ran up to him and I had to block them with my own body. Is there a way to enforce the fine?

A great place to walk your dogs or just take a walk. The road is not maintained in the winter and very bumpy. Do wear your rubber boots as it was muddy in February.

Love this place! Beautiful trails great for the dogs. However be careful, there has been some recent occurrence of a man with a grey mustache hiding in bushes looking directly at us with binoculars and a note pad. Makes me feel uneasy. Keeps your children and fur babies safe!

I appoligize to the people who don't want dogs off leash. But for almost 50 years this has been a very special place for dog owners to socialize our dogs and meet other friendly people and their dogs. There are plenty of trails everywhere in KW. Please if your not a fan of off leash friendly dogs? Let our community of dog lovers have this amazing special place that is so LOVED by us all and our furry friends.

This place is beautiful like everyone says. It has it all for a nature lover. The only thing I disagree with is taking your dog off leash. If they listen very well and come back even when they see dogs then sure. But my dog is not a dog lover, he's not around them often and is OK around smaller dogs usually but can get territorial. If yours comes up to mine and they start going at it, don't blame me. Please keep yours on a leash, I wouldn't want anything to happen.

It was an unusually humid day when I went. There was a family with kids swimming in the pond, having fun. I rated it 3 stars because even though there's signs that dogs have to be on a leash, I saw dogs off leash, which I don't usually mind. But I saw someone that had at least 5 very large dogs.and I happened to be walking towards them. Luckily they all went to the pond for a swim. That was too intimidating for me.as I didn't know if all 5 were friendly or not. All you need is one dog to get angry and they'll all join in. Seeing 5 large dogs by the same owner & on a path where there's no other people made me very nervous.

Heard great things about this being a popular dog trail, and while it was, it seems the largest issue is unattentive parents who let their children run up to people, run at their dogs and scream. Would be nice to see parents have kids as well behaved as the dogs.

Really nice walk, great for bird watching. Warning though: nearly EVERYONE with a dog ignores the 'keep dogs on a leash' signs. And there are lots of people with dogs.
