Sobeys Acton

Very clean and staff are very helpful and friendly. The only thing is that the prices of most things are higher than other supermarkets.

At Sobeys in Acton you can get pretty well just about anything that you want in the food line they're vegetables and fruits are fine and so are their package goods. We find that they are a little bit more expensive than other places, but the service is good and if you want something this is a place we go to because it's about the best place in Acton and Georgetown to go to. The service is reasonably good the staff are polite and The butchers will cut your meat according to your taste. That I like and I will take advantage of that quite often. I don't think you will be too disappointed by shopping at Sobeys. Update
Their prices have significantly increased recently We now find it too expensive for us so we shop around. We understand the prices of everything have gone up but we are finding better prices elsewhere for most things.

Great grocery store and pharmacy. Always has food with great quality and they are never out of stock! Prices are a bit high but for what your getting its worth it. The staff is friendly and overall this is a great store

Was served by Will at the deli counter. I only wanted a few items and while I felt like a burden Will was happy to tend to my every need. He was very kind and respectful and of course helpful. Thank you Will you're a fine young man.

You might pay more, but you get more too. The produce is reliably good. The selection is good. It's clean and quiet. It's my go-to grocery store.

Buyers beware this Sobeys This place harasses its employees and a majority of the adults who work here are childish. Had lots of friends who worked here while I was growing up in Milton came back to visit the other day, Karen in the baker is very rude we went to pick up some baguettes just to hear hear yell at one of the girls in the bakery from the back.a lot of my friends were afraid of her and Colleen because they were bullies the environment is toxic and ultimately doesn't care about it's staff.

Excellent variety of food that is well stocked. Went to pharmacy on this visit to get free Covid rapid test kit.

A cashier refused to sell me beer when my 5 year old helped me by grabbing a beer can and put it on one of their conveyors, said its against the law. I looked it up. It's not against the law for minors to handle alcohol in a retailer. And may refuse to sell alcohol to someone who has reason to believe that they are buying it for a minor. Never heard of anyone buying alcohol for 4 year olds before.

I've been to several Sobeys locations. Ottawa, Toronto, Brighton and Acton to name a few. Always look forward to visiting a Sobeys when I'm near one. The Acton location is smaller than some of the others I've been to. I was able to get the items I wanted but missed some other items not available. In all I'd shop here again.

Seafood Department sells old expired food bought cod from here last night is rancid the seafood manager needs to keep an eye on her products embarrassing.

Love Sobeys they have everything. Little bit on the high end w prices. But you get what ya pay for and everything is great

Good supermarket. Staff is always friendly. The deli section is very good. They even have a decent amount of European products.

The staff at this store are miles ahead in regards to customer service in the grocery industry in Acton. They are polite, accommodating and very respectful. They are the leaders in Acton, it's worth the price tag to shop at Sobeys Acton for your grocery needs. The staff are highly trained professionals of customer service.

Short lines, great produce, we often see things from the farms nearby which is nice. Good selection of wine and beer, especially good that there are always a few choices in ciders and sours. Reliably stock blueberry pierogies. Store and carts are clean.

The grocery store is great, the lady working at the pharmacy was very nice and answered my questions very politely. The guy working there seemed very dismissive though.

My experience occurred on Tuesday, June 22 in the morning. The “greeter” at the entrance of this store needs to be less grumpy. There was no greeting of any kind, she just barked "go get your cart". It did not seem she liked her work at all. She should have stayed home that day if she was going to greet shoppers with that kind of attitude. This is not acceptable and will not be tolerated.

Chicken wings were good compared to local pizza places.
Macaroni and Cheese wasn't so good.
Pre made pizza dough is more expensive then costco. I could get 4 for the same price.
People were nice and helpful.

This is my go to grocery store, not just because it is close to me but also because it is a nice store with good stock and friendly staff. Plus I got my covid vaccine through Sobeys.

- Overpriced
- Cashier lady just talking away to another employee, oblivious of my groceries waiting for her to start scanning
- I had to pay 15 cents for awful paper bags that start ripping before I can get them to my car
- I should have gone to No-frills!

Very friendly cashiers. A good produce selection. Prices are on the high side. You're enforcing the COVID-19 mandatory restrictions as per store customer limit and mandatory face mask. Store was nice and clean. No negative remarks, but there is room to improve.

Only gave a 3 as I have bought items only to notice when I got home they had expired dates on them. Some ok to use but not good marketing.

Not too busy, reasonably easy to find what I needed with the exception of marmalade! And price wise I'm better off getting it at a specialty shop.

Great customer service and selection. Following protocols very well and I feel very safe. Paper bag options also a good choice. A quick stop, of course I left with more than intended because I was enticed buy sales and selection. Will become a regular place to shop from such a great first experience!

Pre-COVID, when it was raining really hard, they had people assisting guests to their car with umbrellas! The associates at this Sobeys are second to none, amazing people, clean store, great products!

Grew up going to this Sobeys. Improved a ton after nearby competition from nofrills came around. It's great, good selection of midrange expensive groceries.

I waited 20 minutes to outside before entering the store to shop. I get it, covid. I shop for 20 minutes. Then I line up in another line to pay to get out of the store. When I mention that maybe more than 3 cashiers are needed the poor cashier says they are doing the best they can, I tell her it is not her fault but maybe they should look at having more cashiers working to move both lines along more more quickly. I know I will not wait outside anymore. I wonder what they will do in the winter. I cannot believe I am the only one feeling this way.

Could the mature workers here be anymore grumpy? My goodness, you would think for their prices they could be a little nicer and treat people with respect. Maybe try acting like you want to be there.

This is a great store. Almost all Sobeys are really good for all the selections.salads meats bakery.cant complain.and as at the Waterdown store all the employees truly have a great attitude about thier work and I usually chat up my cashier and they are always responsive and not negative back.

Clean store with friendly staff. Produce is sometimes great and sometimes not so great. My blueberries and grapes didn't last long from my last purchas. So I'd rather buy fresh from a farm, but I don't often have the time for that. Everything else is pretty standard. One thing I do like is they have the nighttime diapers on sale fairly often so that saves me a lot of $$$. In fact, I do notice this store has more sales overall than most other grocery stores. Maybe because it has to compete with the discount store right beside it.

Always have what I'm looking for. Love how clean the store always is as well as the great customer service.

The store is clean and organized. Staff is friendly and willing to help. A great deal of the shoppers (not all) are not following guidelines and being careful.

The sub sandwiches at Sobeys Acton Ont, have too be the biggest and loaded up I have ever see, and the amazing Italian bread that they use makes it complete, oh and the price is remarkable. Bottom line I have never seen the size, portion, and price, better than anywhere else.

Customer service at Sobeys is on and off. Today was John so I was lucky. Some of the cashier don't deserve any of the stars, John always deserves 5 star.

A.very good grocery store, l went to 4 stores looking for shredded potato's. Sobeys was the only store where a worker would take the time to help me. Bill (l think his name is) was working in the produce section. He stopped what he was doing to assist us. Thanks. Acton Ontario store. Also while shopping another employee asked if we need help. What a great grocery store.

Sobeys in Acton is a great place to shop. They are a more expensive grocer but they live up to the expense. However, with No Frills next door that's really good too, and cheaper, they'll have to step up their game somehow.

Lately I have been disappointed. The produce department is not fully stocked. Another issue is that they have started to remove brand name products and just carry their brands. I am now having to go to other grocery stores to find the products they no longer carry.

I like this spot! They provide fantastic meals, their menu is rich, The chef in that restaurant is a professional, I like a lot trying all their food. The food is consistently of high qualtity, the service towards the customers is very good too. I visit often this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all.

Clean, not busy and has good selection. You can't ask for much more. The employees provide good customer service.
