Sobeys Brighton

I have only shopped here for its convenience of location. The employees are far from friendly or helpful. Like many stores, they are encouraging self checkout. Unfortunately, the overseer at this Sobey's treats customers as recalcitrant sub-employees who have already been trained, have been through remedial training, and are at risk of being fired instead of, you know, a valued customer.
Asking an employee where you might find something seems to irritate them, and I am not sure I've ever actually been assisted in that endeavour by an employee.
I had already decided not to shop there i the future, and I scraped my car on the base of their parking lot lamp post. The bases are too low to be visible when in your vehicle.
It is better to drive a little further to No Frills.

Nice store, good breads, meats and produce - higher prices compared to other local grocery.

Clean well, stocked store, higher prices, but better quality items and produce.

Lots of veggies but fruit is minimal and pricey.always good quality tho.

Great grocery store but prices are higher than say a no frills or a fresh co. Their bakery section is amazing though.
