Yesterday was a good day, clean, as usual, more staff than I’ve seen in a while and a few good sales.

Custom birthday cake decorated perfectly! I don't know who decorated it, but know that I spoke with Emily when I ordered it. Great job! (marble 8"round with rainbow icing)

New review.sadly since the new owner took over the quality and selection has changed like everytime I go the asparagus.which is not cheap is dry and withering. I did mention before to the new owner that it is not placed in water to keep the quality.sadly nothing has changed. There does not seem to be the same attention to detail and quality. Watch your receipts people, 5 weeks in a row they have ripped off my 82 year old mother, double charging on items, charging full price on sale items. This is already a over price store and taking advantage of seniors is disgusting! We need another grocery store in this town more than ever.not even worth 1 star!

Friendly staff, although some of the cashiers chat more than they scan. The prices were already more expensive than most other grocery stores, but they keep going up every week. I only shop here because it's the only grocery store in town.

They got that good chicken wings, that finger lickin good stuff, the good frickin chicken. DAMN, eating some while making this review MMMM. KFC ain't got anything on these, Popeyes might. Wait, I just took another bite, nah Popeyes ain't even close either. I've gained 20 pounds in the last week alone. Good show lads!

Great place for shopping, price is fair, comparing to other big stores.great when on sale. Produce is expensive.

It offers a good selection of products and variety. I easily found all the necessities I needed for my vacation stay. Staff were very pleasant and offered self-chekout to ease the crowds

Ok place to pick up last minute items. It has a good variety at the ready made hot meat counter. Fruits and vegetables are rather high priced, you can buy same or better quality at Food Basics in Lindsay. Same goes for all their other products, overpriced. Once in awhile you can find a good deal on some food items but overall pricing is above average.

Love shopping here. The produce is so fresh and there is always such a great selection. This is a well run store.

The last while things have changed.
As I’ve been informed, the owner retired.

I’ve accidentally bought expired gluten free bread [it’s hard to find the best before date on the product but i did find it at home once I’d already opened it]. It had expired TEN DAYS prior!

Just yesterday I was shopping and found several items on the shelves that were expired. The worst item were cupcakes that expired in the middle of APRIL! [It’s the middle of MAY! ].

You pay out the nose for food here.

Staff is friendly, the store is clean, but dear god, they gouge like no other.

Always check expiration date on meats. Chicken was out of date by 6 days and still out for sale. I should have checked but trusted the store

Very handy large store. Nice variety and they carry hard to find Goat's Milk. And LCBO beverages!

Produce is fresh. Bakery has a great selection. Deli has a great selection of meats and cheeses.
Only thing I don't like is the aisles are narrow. Even though they have them arrowed currently if someone is stopping to check out items getting around them is tricky unless they have their buggy right against the side.

I drive all the way from Gooderham to Fenelon Falls for organic produce because I know I'll find the produce I require for my efforts to detox my body by juicing a large range of fruit/veggies.

Actually I sample the other grocery stores while waiting for the farmers' markets to open for the season.
Sobeys does a good job of offering produce from locals as well as packaged name brands.

Sobeys will only pack your groceries in their own bags, if you bring in bags of your own, they won’t help you pack them which is hard for me, because I am a senior. I don’t like paying for bags. But.other than that they are usually very cheerful & helpful. Last year they delivered, so it was wonderful, & we really were appreciative, but I don’t think they are going to do that this year, which is disappointing.

Nice clean store but produce prices are extremely high. Also meat specials are in low supply if there at all.

Nice store, however I found the staff unhelpful when looking for a product. As 2 were talking and I walked up they continued. I waited patiently for help as they looked at me a few times but ignored me. When I asked for what I couldn't find I was dismissed with a maybe over there. Usually people in Sobeys are way more helpful and not rude like these 2 were.
Also when we entered the store only needing one item we were told we each needed to take a cart. I explained we only wanted 1 item but we're told we had to take a cart. I don't understand this as it would make more work for them to disinfect? I get covid policies but this made no sense at all.

The store is bright clean and very well stocked.but more expensive than other area stores. There is usually a line up outside of the store but it moves quickly.

Clean, quick service, Covid basics in place. Clean store, lots of parking, pleasant & efficient customer service. Never looked for anything that they didn't have

Average selection and a bit pricey. Vegetables and fruit were scarce and my strawberries went rotten in 2 days. Maybe it was a bad day there. Normally Sobeys are excellent.

Short, socially distanced lines. Got everything on my list in 1 stop. Good selection of fresh produce and specialty items (oat milk, vegan yoghurt).

The store is laid out beautifully. The staff treated us like family. The prices were exactly the same as the rest of the Sobeys chain as they adhere to the weekly flyers' pricing. Their overall prices are fair and really do not need competition to keep them competitive and honest. I salute the ownership and management of this store for doing a fabulous service for the community of Fenelon Falls and surrounding areas. Did I mention that the produce is always fresh and delicious? B R A V O!

The store is sufficiently stocked for a small town. However, the grocery cashier was not particularly polite, she aggressively told me where to put my grocery cart and was very rude. Customer service could be improved.

Went to make a visit to fenelon falls for the first time. I extremely enjoyed shopping here. The staff were the friendliest ive ever encountered!

No one appears to try harder than the owner, Mark, to satisfy the demands of disparate communities which you find in a seasonal, tourist, cottager area. No one is ever perfect. Overall store operation and staff are excellent.

Great store but not a good selection of first aid, etc. All the pharmacies close early (6p) so I came here. Not much available besides a band aid. Otherwise great for fresh food!

Great place to shop, they wipe down each cart for each customer, well laid out store. Almost everything is in stock, the deli dept, is minimal due to COVID, the bulk section has been closed as well.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Store is laid out ok.but man the prices are way to high.need real people on the check out.get rid of those self serve units.

The lady who takes care of the cashiers is wonderful. I think her name is Lori. She should get a raise

Great store to get all your groceries very friendly and knowledgeable staffed managed by Mark who is always there to assist you or discuss new products. I recommend this Sobeys to all of our clients that are new to the Kawartha Waterfront

Not a big fan of Sobeys. Ridiculously expensive even for sale items and the vegetables are rarely fresh and crisp. Just buy necessities.

Today was an off day. Checkout lines were awful. SOME cashiers are too inefficient. Otherwise, I am a fan of the store.

Great grocery store with a fantastic selection. I would use it more but the prices reflect the expensive interior setup. I want groceries not a shopping experience.

I'd like to see them have a few more things like cinnamon and sugar in a bottle and their bottles of wine and I'd like to see them have coolers

Large grocery store with everything you will need for home or the cottage. Surprisingly good seafood selection.

This is a very nice Sobeys with decent prices and a good parking lot. I wish there was a little more variety in the hot food section, but otherwise the ready salad section is pretty good. The fruits and vegetables are very fresh and there are sales and deals all the time. Lots of dessert and bakery options as well. The cashiers are nice and helpful all the time.

A good store that has, unfortunately, recently added self check-out. Lines are now incredibly long as they don't bring in enough cashier's and regularly have 3-4 check out stations empty.

Fantastic. Bakery staff was very helpful on recommendation with pastries bought. Highly recommended the 3" turtle chocolate pastry and the salted Caramel cupcake.

I love going to the Sobeys there. There is a huge variety of meals ready to eat, pizza ready to cook, giant sandwiches made out of whole loaves of fresh baked bread, Chinese food, sushi. Even Greek I think. And that's just the cooked stuff.
There is what's fresh produce, the milk always has good dates, and when I was there today they had a bunch of buy one get one free deals.
All in all this is a really great Sobeys in a really nice town.

I like Sobeys alot because it is bright and cheery. Everything is fresh. I really love there raisin bran bran muffins. They have a fabulous bakery. The vegetables and meat sections are great. And the employees are all very helpful and friendly.

I recieved absolutely terrible service today. Waited forever in the line up due to people getting rainchecks, then it was a shift change as soon as they got to me, but something went wrong, so she came back and put me through. But the advertised price on the cream cheese I bought wasn't given to me and instead of checking it, she just said it wasn't on sale. I left everything there and walked out. This whole experience cost me a half hour of my life. Not that itself was a big deal, but there was only one person ahead of me in the line.

Not at all happy! Cashier was 'way too slow for the Service Desk. Customer in front of me had one item - meatballs from Deli - they were hot when chosen, but I'm certain they'd be lukewarm by the time he paid for them. The wait was inexcusable and with nary a "thank you for your patience. " I had to bag my own although I had placed my bag on the belt with my groceries. Sorry, but worth the drive to Lindsay to shop.

I choose this grocery store over any in the area. Prices aren't super, but customer care is. And for that I'm delighted to shop here with my son. Always helpful, friendly staff. I don't find that in any other grocery stores nearby.
